This location of Naan and Kabob is in the food court at Scarborough Town Centre. Because of its smaller location, they also have a smaller menu, compared to their full sized restaurants. That doesn't mean that the flavours are compromised. No way! The dishes are all prepared fresh, making this not quite fast food. The wait, however, is well worth it! This Beef Kabob meal, with rice, salad, and naan was very tasty and filling. It really didn't take too long to be prepared either. Delicious! While walking through the food court at Scarborough Town Centre trying to decide what to eat for lunch, I saw Naan and Kabob. Having recently eaten at their restaurant down on Yonge Street and enjoyed my meal there, I suggested it to my husband. We both ordered a wrap, mine chicken, he went with the beef kebab. We both had our wraps filled with the works and opted for hot sauce. Both wraps were really delicious and satisfying but were quite messy to eat. Oh well, sometimes you just have to make a mess. I would definitely come here again. You can't go wrong with Afghan food. It's clean, lean and healthy eating and most importantly, it's delicious. The service was great and the staff here are really friendly and helpful. It's great to see the variety of options in the new and improved food court at Scarborough Town Centre. read more

Ordered the shish kebab for $11.99 before tax, which included naan as well. I'll be comparing this to Kandahar Kabab in Scarborough. I think due to the location, the food court process has affected the quality, For example: Cons: -rice was kind of soggy, could have more seasoning. -less sauce vs. Kandahar Kabab -while the meat isn't bad, i think Kandahar Kabab is a tiny bit bigger and flavourful -i think rice portion is a tiny bit smaller vs. Kandahar Kabab Pros: -considering the type of food, service was faster than I thought -more salad choice vs. Kandahar Kabab -I really like the chick peas, has some curry taste. I would not try this location, perhaps the other dedicated locations would be better. read more

What was I doing at Scarborough Town Centre late last week? Looking for a phone case? Hand soap on sale 5 for $30? End of season sale for skinny jeans? Honestly can't remember why I was there... I do remember the great meal I had at the exciting TASTE MRKT Hahahaha.. I lie it's not exciting. It's like all the revamped food courts at the major malls around the city. Taste Market spelt differently. If you're going to spell it different, might as well include a hashtag and act like it's 2018 - #TASTEMRKT I got side tracked. The staff was friendly. I even enjoyed eating out of a styrofoam container - chicken, rice, mixed greens and oh yea there was naan. Halfway through my meal I remembered the naan. Ohhh and to top it off, there was a wet nap along with the takeout plastic utensils - a wet nap. A clear sign of finger licking, lip smacking food experience is about to go down. I. Stuffed. We ordered the Classic chicken and Tandoori chicken plate and after 30 minutes of waiting for our food, we ended up receiving Chicken kofta. The manager took over the server and threw the server under the bus saying "She's confused, she's new". When we told her that we got the wrong food she didn't even apologize or offer to make the correct dishes and instead said "The line is 3 miles long". What a bunch of imbeciles. Really liking how they opened a Naan and Kabob in the mall. Very convenient while shopping and a great option for those looking for good halal food. We ordered 2 chicken breast Kabob rolls with a bottle of water that came up to about $18, pretty pricey. The chicken was stuffed into naan that didn't taste fresh. The chicken though, was nicely grilled and had fresh tomatoes, onions and sauces to go with it. I think the wraps at the actual Naan and Kabob restaurants are far better. Loving this naan and kabob option in the new food court. Fewer options than their sit down restaurants, but the food is fresh and fairly justifiable for the plates, which are about $10. The mantu is pricey, but delicious. Mantu is like a steamed, wonton-esque meat-filled dumpling topped with yogurt, hot sauce, what I believe was lentil curry, and cilantro. They're 5/$6.99, or 10 for $9.99 or $10.99 (I forget). Lots of flavors going on here. Goes really well with the naan from the plate we ordered. The plates are fairly customizable. They have two rice options and four veggie options. A choice of protein, rice, one veggie, salad, and naan come with each plate. I got the kofta kabob plate ($9.99) with the basmati rice with golden raisins and shredded carrots, and the sweet and sour eggplant. The kofta was tender and flavorful. There were two skewers of it. The skewers were thinner than I'm used to, but I'll survive. The rice had a hint of cinnamon and I love re-hydrated raisins in rice. The sweet and sour eggplant was also delicious, and not particularly strong on the sweet and sour flavors. However, went amazingly with the rice. The salad was fresh and the mild salsa and the white sauce that went with the salad (and everything else) were tasty as well. Service is fairly friendly, and either they're grilling the kabobs to order, or they just don't display them in the hot table at the front. Total cost for the mantu (5 pc) and the plate was $19.19 after tax. That fed two people for lunch with a tiny amount of leftovers. Once again, I love that this is in the food court at STC. I'm not at STC a lot, but if I'm back and I'm grabbing a meal, there's a good chance I'll be back. read more

I got their Chaplee Kabob, which was pretty good. However, It took quite some time for them prepare my food as they were just standing around and letting maybe a new guy do the job. Also, one of them touched my Kabobs with bare hand, I am quite sure. I only ate it because I was very hungry. Off-topic, one of the girl at the cash was pretty hot. lol read more

When a customer spends a lot of money on food and comes back to get white sauce which was not added and this restaurant staff says you have to pay for the sauce. Wow unbelievable. I don't mind paying but it really sounds cheap. The owner needs to work on the customer service of this specific cashier who has no manners. Cheapest location of NnK in the GTA. I got the plate and asked for a spoon of chick peas - they charge like $2 for that, unreal. The staff are also very stingy when serving plates. Food is ok, definitely not as good as the other chains. read more

the rudest customer service i've ever encountered. no smiles, no greeting, just a "what did you order", i told her to have a nice day and she responded with "mhm" i went back and asked them for cutlery and white sauce and the girl had the nerve to say "did you ask for it?" in a extremely rude tone. i offered to pay for the white sauce, even though i thought it was complimentary as i get it every time. good food, terrible customer service to say the least. read more
