The menu choices are amazing; there is something for everyone. Whether you prefer simple ice cream in a cup, in a cone, fruit bowl, Dole Whip, milkshakes or smoothies. They got it all. Staffs are friendly and not stingy about samples. A bonus, they have a cockapoo behind the counter ready to greet you. Seating areas are spacious and clean. Today, I decided to try a new Indian restaurant in town called Naan' Cafe. I am always up for trying something new so when Jesse, the owner, offered some suggestions I was definitely game. Let me just start by saying the food was really good, Jesse suggested the Saag Paneer which is a spinach dish mixed with a Paneer Cheese. Next I had the Chicken Tikka Masala which is chicken in a curry sauce. Along with the Naan (bread), rice, yogurt, and Achar (Pickles with a kick), the meal was very satisfying. Being not Indian myself, upon my request,Jesse was more than helpful in the different ways people will normally eat the dishes, for example do I use the Naan to pick up the food, do I eat the Achar by itself or as a spice with the other dishes, and "what is this white stuff", ends up it was a yogurt dish that was pretty good too. So yes I liked it, and yes I will be back. I am not personally of an Indian background so I can not say how this food compares to family recipes or of the like, what I can say is I know what good food tastes like, and Naan Cafe was really good. I like the fact that I was made to feel comfortable by the owner who could have stood back and let me fumble through the process of trying something new but instead I can now come back with friends and show them how to enjoy a good Indian meal. read more

I have been going to Naan Cafe since it opened. Up until 6 months ago I really enjoyed going there. I really looked forward to eating their food. But nowadays I don't enjoy it at all. The vegetables are bland and don't have a lot of flavor. The quality of the naan and tandoori roti has gone down the drain. The naan is not cooked all the way, hardly any garlic and butter. Last time I ordered the Tandoori Roti and it wasn't cooked all the way. You could see the dough same as Naan. I understand most of the time they are busy but still the food should taste good. Not sure what is happening with management, but I am hoping this review will encourage the management to look at the product they are putting out. It's not always about the revenue but also about authentic Indian cuisine. read more

I stumbled upon Naan Cafe on a weekday evening, and it turned out to be a delicious surprise. The moment I walked in, the warm aroma of spices hit me--in the best way possible. The staff was friendly and helped me decide between the chicken tikka masala and lamb korma (I went with the tikka masala, no regrets). The naan was fresh, soft, and just the right amount of chewy--perfect for scooping up every last bit of curry. I also ordered the garlic naan, which had a great flavor without being overpowering. The portions were generous, and prices were reasonable. It's a casual spot, so don't expect fine dining ambiance, but for a solid, flavorful Indian meal, Naan Cafe delivers. Couldn't disagree with all the reviews. I absolutely am addicted to the flavors of this restaurant. The casual desired atmosphere and great music with amazing food makes this place awesome. I almost come here on weekly basis and never been disappointing. Lunch and dinner times are packed mostly. If you are on a budget, get the combo meal with great selection of veg and non veg items. Don't hesitate to get a little sample of the combo items. If you have some time and want the real good stuff, order from the menu and you will not be disappointed. GREAT food. I was out here for business and stop by to grab some indian food. Saw the reviews and thought I would give it a try and I was glad that I did because it was absolutely delicious. The Chicken Tikka Malsa and Samosas were the best I'ev ever had. Jesse, the guy behind the register was a nice guy and was very helpful in explaining everything very well. The place is nice and clean. Had some great canvas prints. The menu was displayed clearly on a big screen TV. All in all this is a great place to go have some delicious Indian food. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food lacked flavor (bland), and the service was inadequate, possibly due to a language barrier. The naan was pre-made, wrapped in foil, and ended up soggy. The channa masala was particularly disappointing, being overly watery and lacking substance. We ordered several other dishes, all of which were unsatisfactory, except for the chicken tikka masala, which was the only item that tasted acceptable. My indian friend had recommneded this place but I had not tried...saw them in the Inland Empire magazie best of 2012 list and decided to give it a try........I have already been there three times this week. Best Chicken Masala, Samosas, and Naan bread. If you are getting the combo plate....get the three item combo which is a lot of food for under $10. They seem to always have at least 4/5 in the warmers vegetarian options.The 3-item combo is enough to fill up me and my hunger.So far I have had the baigan bartha, vegetable korma, sag paneer, and a lentil - each has been well seasoned and very flavorful. We used to go there a lot. Today I ordered Karahi lamb, which we ordered many times before. It used to be taking 10-15mins. Today it takes only about 3 mins. It turns out the lamb and vegetables are not fresh, it tastes badly nothing like what we ordered before. What a pity! read more

My wife, Chef Ann, felt at home from the minute we walked in. The location was clean, quiet, and cozy. I'm a Type 2-diabetic so I don't generally eat at locations that don't serve brown rice. But Mohammad, the owner, was very accommodating. He prepared a delightful off-the-menu Navrattan Korma mixed vegetables as a a low-carb substitute for the basmati rice. And the lamb curry? OMGoodness-it's the best I've ever tasted! My mouth was having a party! The veggies and lamb were exploding with flavor in every mouthful and spiced to perfection. Ann had the Chicken Tikka Masala, samosas and garlic naan and it was all excellent. By the end of the meal, Chef Ann was already declaring this as our new go-to Indian place. Surprisingly, I agree with her! That's unusual for me, I normally prefer home-cooked meals to eating out. We're so delighted we discovered Beyond Biryani and we can't wait to go back! I had the larb pork, and the flavor was so authentic that it reminded me of being back in Thailand. The owner even treated us to free Thai tea, which was such a thoughtful gesture.
