Expectations far exceeded! My husband and I came in on a Saturday night around 7pm. We ordered the nachos grande steak, super tex Mex chicken and two margaritas. Based on the rating we were nervous but couldn't be more happy we stopped by!!! We ate on the outside patio and didn't have much of a wait at all -- ordered at the counter and they call names over a speaker so we could hear even outside. Everything was good but the steak nachos grande are the way to go here. These nachos are made with real cheese, not the liquid stuff. They had fresh guacamole and the most delicious grilled steak. Only complaints, next time I'd order extra steak (but that's typically expected with nachos) and tomatoes from a can but not fresh. But for being fast food and for the price I was very impressed. Even margaritas were great, not too sticky sweet as you sometimes get (at least time) and even as a fast food joint they put salt on the rim. read more

It's a toss up when you go to nacho mamas, I think it truly depends on the staff working. I'd say go here at your own risk. We went the other night for dinner and were one of two people there, the staff was so kind and happy to help us, and accommodating. The inside of the restaurant was dim lighting, new tables, and awesome music playing creating quite a vibe. The price of the food however, did not reflect the price. This is where it starts becoming a toss up. It is known that the owner, a woman, works the drive through and is incredibly unpleasant and borderline rude. Very short with customers and you can tell they try to get over on absolutely everything often citing "prices for food are going up so are ours" - so the menus don't reflect proper prices. Additionally, if you add or edit your order they charge whatever they feel like, it always seems to be inconsistent. This is a pattern here so don't be surprised when your 2 taco platter, fajitas and two margaritas is 78 dollars before they ask for tip. In my opinion, you can find better Mexican for the price. The atmosphere inside also does not reflect such pricing, you are not waited on, it's a counter you pick up your stuff and buss your own plates. I come here for the nachos. They're so simple and really shouldn't be as good as they are, but here we are. I've ordered them more times than I will admit and each time they hit the spot! The other best part about this place is there's a drive-thru. When I have a sleeping baby in the back and hunger hits, it's nice to be able to get something local without having to get out of my car. Driving down Manchester I saw this place and loved the building's bright colors , so I decided to stop and I'm glad I did. I love Mexican food and it did not disappoint. Small private parking lot, but don't look down or you will miss the opening to get in. Indoor or outdoor seating which is always a plus is an option. Outdoor has plenty of seating that is covered or open and pretty spacious. Indoor was nice , spacious and clean. Staff were really nice and welcoming. I ordered the shrimp quesadillas and they were fresh, hot and cooked to order. Delicious and seasoned well. Wait time was not long so i decided to dine on the outdoor patio. Well....sh*t rolls downhill. I really hate to leave this review. But this has been about three years of the same stuff. This one picture will pretty much sum everything up. This is a $13 loaded nachos with steak. I have had four chips so far. I would venture a guest there's about 2 ounces of steak on here? Maybe 3 ounces? There's no cheese. There's very little guac. There's very little sour cream. I'm assuming the family turned this over to somebody else because otherwise I'm not really sure why I go here anymore. This is sad. And I have been waiting a long time to write this. Because we had issues when my son was born almost 4 years ago. Every time I order now I expect something to be wrong. And that is just not good. I'm heartbroken over how this place has declined in the past few years. Today is the last straw. Ordered steak fajita tacos and was shocked at what I saw inside. The tortillas were half empty. Under a thin layer of cheese and shredded cabbage were three of the tiniest scraps of fajita meat I've ever seen in my life. More onion than meat in there. They are basically giving you veggie tacos when you order steak fajita tacos. Sadly, the quality of the beans and especially the rice has been lower for a while. Bland, forgetable. I've been coming here since I was a teenager. Now close to 40, I've decided to call it quits. I write this review reluctantly, but maybe saying something will spur some change. Two stars might seem harsh for a place that still has decent food, but I feel it's warranted. I used to eat here - all the time. During Covid I think I ate here 3 time/ week (fresh margaritas from the drive thru? yes please). Over the last couple of years with orders being incorrect, prices increasing, wait times increasing, etc, my visits have become less frequent. In the last couple of months, my order has been incorrect 3/4 times in various ways. The food portions have been reduced and the prices have increased (dramatically). Last time I was there, I had to remind the lady at the drive thru to take my card and run it. Once I got home, my three taco platter only had two tacos and maybe 2-3 slices of chicken per taco (the picture was actually the "good taco"). Adding to the frustration, my "fajita tacos" only had a couple of onions (did they run out of bell peppers?). This seems to be the new norm. This is the second time in two months they've given me two tacos when I ordered and was charged for three (reading/counting error). Additionally, my daughter wanted chicken tamales and they gave her ground beef. Not a big deal, but when you have a two year old who wants chicken, they want chicken. I used to order the chicken nachos as my go to, but they started really skimping on the toppings/meat so I switched to the tacos. Anyway, I want to love this place again. The food still tastes good enough. Their restaurant is cool. The margaritas are surprisingly good. The salsa is good. I know running a restaurant isn't easy, but their quality control needs to be addressed, especially when charging these prices. I'm glad some people are still having good experiences here. This is the second time we've had an unnaturally long wait. A few weeks ago, we placed an order online and scheduled pickup. We waited for 20-25 minutes for our food while dine-in guests and drive thru orders were filled. The whole point of order ahead is to get your food - ahead. Last night, I sat in the drive thru for 30 minutes. I get being short-staffed but come on. Don't have a drive thru if you can't handle the volume. Took my wife here after a Cards game and she enjoyed it. She got the nachos and I got a chimi. The Chimi was amazing! They actually fried it correctly. The guacamole was amazing, and I really liked the chips. My wife said the nachos were good but for a super nachos (I think that was the name) it was kinda small. The restaurant inside is fun. A little loud but that's ok, it's a Mexican restaurant. My wife was frustrated with walking up and ordering because there was a line and it was kind of a pressure situation. Service was good, not really any table service, so nothing to really note about the service. The lady that got our order at the counter was really nice. So thats always good :) This one is a recommend just for the experience. If you like chimis this is a good one. It's normal burrito size. read more

What a bummer. This has been my favorite all time place for the longest time. My daughter and I have made mommy daughter dates here for years! We ALWAYS get the combination fajita nachos. I just now tried to order that same thing and they tried to add on every single meat cost making 1 plate $30.00. I tried explaining it's more of a combination. I don't need extra meat and I do this every single time I come here and have for years. The two front people who didn't seem to have worked there long, told me that can't happen. We have been going to Nachoamamas since they opened. Initially, everything was great. Good service, good food, and good prices. Lately, the prices have gone way up, the food is still good, but they rarely get our orders right. The margaritas, which I have always loved are now about a third less than what you used to get with an increased price. I watched them fix my margarita last time and what they do is put it in a frother so it looks like more than it is. It turns out being about half of what you used to get. I know these people are making a killing. The other thing is, they seem to have trouble keeping their workers. I never seem the same worker more than twice. Disappointing! For anyone interested you can find a great margarita at Trader Joe's called Everything but the bartender and it is half the price of Nachomama's margarita. You're welcome! read more
