But when we're returning back to our hometowns of Hiawassee and Blairville do not expect to find that true "Quality" meal, misleads at a reasonable price point....! My husband and I went to Mully's for our final meal on our first anniversary trip. It was delightful. The atmosphere was nice, as were all staff members. Even with a limited menu, there were many options. The drink menu and dessert menu were also full of great choices. Our drinks were a great price, and the food was delicious. My husband had the Cajun pasta and I had the rainbow trout. For dessert, we had an amazing piece of chocolate cake with buttercream icing. Our bill was very fair for the quality of food and customer service. Mully even came to our table and introduced himself. This was one of the nicest, most delicious dining experiences we have had, and by far, the best in the Helen area! We cannot wait to return on our next trip! read more

Made reservations about a week or so in advance but changed the time day of to an earlier time and they were very accommodating even with the limited time slots. I got the make it to midnight special cocktail. The guys got the old fashioned. Very strong good drinks. We started with the fried grits balls appetizer. Delicious. They also bring out complimentary fresh baked bread before the meal. It was hard to decide on dinn er because so many dishes look good. I got the shrimp and grits. The waitress said it was he favorite. The rest at the table got the trout since it's a special they don't always have, the prime rib, the filet and the salmon. All the dishes were amazing. Loved my shrimp and grits! Even though we were all quite stuffed, we ended the night with the bread pudding! Loved it! Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. My wife and I went there for dinner during our weekend in Helen, We really enjoyed the atmosphere, Cozy and warm feeling. We shared the daily appetizer special which was the lobster Mac and cheese. It was absolutely AMAZING ! For our mains my wife ordered the pork loin with the brandy cream sauce. I tried some of it and it was very very good. I ordered the Ribeye, It was also very good, it was cooked and seasoned perfectly but my only complaint would be that it seemed very thin, Honestly for a $30 entree I was expecting a little more steak, even the baked sweet potato was kinda on the small side. My wife and I shared a Caesar salad to start things off. Based on Chandler's suggestion, she selected the Seafood Pot Pie. This entre was absolutely wonderful. Stopped in for 2 nights in Sautee and wanted to stay out of the big crowds in Helen during Oktoberfest. We did not have a reservation but decided to eat in the bar. I forget the bartenders name but she was amazing! So nice, prompt and helpful. We split the hot bacon dressing salad, butterflied rainbow trout, grits, and succotash. The restaurant looks to be set up in an old house and i loved the look of all the wood walls and ceilings. The sweet tea was great which is something my husband always judges a restaurant off of. For an appetizer we ordered the pimento cheese on crusitini topped with bacon and some type of chutney. It was super yummy. I ordered the French onion soup for my entree and it was delicious, super flavorful and lots of yummy cheese. My husband ordered the fried chicken plate and it was ginormous it came with a half of a chicken fried with green beans and macaroni salad which my husband asked to sub for mashed potatoes instead. All the food came out super fast and everything was flavorful. I tried some of his fried chicken and it was soooo flavorful and juicy. We would definitely come here again. read more

Overpriced food with very bad service. Avoid this restaurant. My husband and I came on a Saturday night with reservation, waited 15-20 minutes after we arrived because our table wasn't ready. Once eventually seated we looked over menu and tried to order appetizer but then we were informed they were out of that item. They failed to mention this at the beginning. Once questioned if they were out of other items our server then mentioned yes there were multiple entrees they did not have- this should have been stated at the beginning. Our second choice appetizer of chicken potstickers was horrible and pitiful size for the price. They were burnt and barely any sauce at all. Do not get this appetizer. Our entrees of pot pie and salmon were subpar and overpriced for what they were as well. They both were bland and lacking much flavor and salmon was over cooked.
