    Veggie Build Your Own Bowl

Everything was so fresh. Ordering at the counter was easy, and the menus posted were easy to read. I was casual and easy in and out.

First time visiting Naf Naf was a good experience. It is set up, kind of like a chipotle style bar. You can see all the ingredients and you select what you want to add to your bowl. The staff was knowledgeable and informed us what the items were when we were deciding what to add. It was very yummy and unique. We also both got a pita on the side. Which was warm and very soft! Will visit again!

We recently tried Naf Naf through delivery, and it absolutely hit the spot--plus some! We took advantage of their BOGO deal and enjoyed two Pita Stuffed Sandwiches along with Build-Your-Own Bowls. It was the perfect combo for lunch, dinner, and even some tasty leftovers. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The fries are absolutely ridiculous, you have to get some if you go! We're so glad we decided to give this place a try and can't wait to order again!

The Build your own pita sandwich allows you to keep it simple or be very creative. I was able to order a very savory falafel.

I love Mediterranean foods so I have been wanting to try this for a long time. The bread is fresh and soft and delicious. It's simular set up to Qdoba and BiBibop where you pick your proteins and then veggies and sauces ect. They have a decent selection but I would have preferred even more. They have the traditional options available. Meat is tender juicy and flavorful. I'm going again! Asap

Falafel 4 Pack in a bowl!

I'm obsessed with the deliciousness of this place. I order the bowl. The chicken shawarma roasted on a spit, deliciously seasoned and hand cut each day is a favorite. I'm picky about falafel and theirs is perfectly cooked, great flavor with a hint of cinnamon! Nice touch. The toppings are such high quality. The sauces... ALL of them are fantastic. The pita a wonderful texture. The hummus, both kinds... so creamy and flavorful. But what magic is in the pickles! The place itself is sterile and always freezing. So I order and pickup.

Pita with Steak and spicy humus, basmati rice, naf fries, nafgiki sauce.

This place is really good. The pita was nice and warm, soft and fluffy. The spicy hummus was really good. The toppings from the cucumber salad to the onions and cabbage were all good. I out the Nafgiki sauce and garlic sauce in the pita and it was delicious. Naf fries were nothing special, almost like a steak fry, but could be warmer. Rice had good flavor, it was just a bit dry. Overall I would definitely come back!

Stopped by here for a take out lunch. Very reasonably priced - the plate is a particularly great deal, allowing you to try a couple different proteins. I also had a coupon for free fries, which were tasty and very dippable. Great option for a quick and filling meal

Always the best! Tried different sauces on my chicken shawarma sandwich- Moroccan sauce and Harissa! Harissa is spicy so use it with caution.. The garlic sauce is my go to so cut the spice level with it. The pita was fluffy as always

This is my new favorite "order at the counter" build-a-bowl / pita restaurant, edging out Garbanzo. The flavors, options, and healthiness of the ingredients can be dialed in to your liking. I'll be back! Service was good and friendly.

Half Steak and half Chicken Shawarma Hummus Bowl with basmati rice, garlic and tzatziki sauce.
    Sharon J.

Food- I love the customizability of the bowl. You can even go half-and-half with different meats and bases. I would recommend the steak over the chicken Shawarma. The chicken can be a little bit dry, and the steak is really flavorful. Service-the staff are very helpful! She could tell it was my first time ordering, and she helped answer all of my questions, and help me create a delicious bowl Ambiance-imagine a Mediterranean version of chipotle. The indoor decor has info about various things on their menu. I will definitely be making a trip back to eat more

The interior is bright and fun. They're in the strip mall at 86th with the Noral Target, so there was plenty of parking. We each ordered separately, but they nicely put our order on the same overall table ticket so that it was delivered at roughly the same time. I hadn't been here before, and was excited to try it. You order at the front counter then they bring it to our table. The menu can be a little daunting if you aren't sure what you want. I chose a chicken enchilada bowl, but was then told they were out of cheese. Nothing else was jumping out at me, so I just ordered the avocado toast. (see pics) Our food came fairly quickly. I will say, my coworkers' dishes looked good. I was pretty disappointed with my avocado toast. For $9, it was a sinlgle slice of bread, only very lightly toasted. The jammy egg was maybe 1 hard boiled egg, chopped up on top, and it was cold. It did have shredded cheese over it (not sure why that couldn't have been used in my enchilada bowl?) . It also tased like it had a lot of "everything bagel" spices on it, and was overall fairly salty. So it was a little disappoining. And I left hungry. But I wasn't in the mood to order anything else. My coworkers had sweet potato fries (I tried some - really good!), and different bowls that looked good, so I would give them another try sometime, but the avocado toast did not live up to expectations. #ReviewsByRL

Oh man, we must've done something right because the food gods have blessed us all with Vegetarian…read moreVillage. Indy, do you hear me? Please listen...You have been blessed by the food gods! You won't find this concept in many cities so I hope we can recognize it as the gem that it is and take advantage of it to keep them around. So what is it you ask. First, it's not a restaurant. Rather, imagine if mom (dad, sister, aunt or whoever can cook in your family...mom just connotes warmth and wholesome for me) were to cook healthy, wholesome meals and bring them to your house whenever you wanted. This is what it is; it's a catering service but I think they're aiming to cater to us, to singles, to families and to our everyday lives. Awesome, right? Many of us don't have time to cook or we just don't want to so we eat out. There's a downside to this: we often have to sacrifice healthy food for convenient and/or tasty food. It's a First World problem, I know (one with shockingly negative consequences but that is a lecture for another setting). The brilliance of Vegetarian Village and places like this is they offer a perfect solution to this modern day problem in that we can have all three: healthy, tasty and convenient. The Holy Trinity of modern eating. No sacrificing. Again, this is why I'm thrilled to have them here... The food: I wanted to order the holiday meal but since there are no Yelp reviews yet and I knew nothing about their food, I was apprehensive to do so since I would be ordering for 8. I called and the owner was kind enough to fix me a plate to try at their Central Ave. location. An entire meal: pastry stuffed turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet mashed potatoes, cauliflower, and string beans with pearl onions and almonds. How cool is that? Good business practices is all I can say to that. I had no idea what to expect but yum. The meatless turkey was delicious as were all of the sides. The turkey is a recipe she has created on her own. Like I said, this is wholesome cooking...comfort food prepared with heart (metaphorically...this is a vegetarian business after all.) Classics made meatless by professionals. This food is truly an extension of the chefs and they are very passionate about what they're cooking for us. I was fortunate enough to talk with the owner for a bit, and the dishes they are making sound amazing. Meatloaf, lasagna, sloppy joes, chicken noodles, veggie jambalaya (all meatless of course). My favorite bit: they offer 5 entrees for $45. This is crazy affordable and so perfect for singles or couples. Families of course too. I cannot wait to try everything they offer on their menu and I will keep you posted. Some things to keep in mind: This is a new company so my understanding is that the chefs still work other jobs. For this reason, we need to place our orders a week ahead of time. It's not like ordering a pizza so a little planning is required. Also, pick up is available. I think they offer this in both Carmel and midtown on Central. Great locations. Check out their website because I believe they are going to have a sampling/tasting of their food soon. Thank you Vegetarian Village for bringing this concept to Indy and making our lives a little easier...and healthier!

There was a very small wait till my turn came. Chhole Bhature was an already decided on and for second choice combo thali was recommended by the employee. In my opinion; Chhole Bhature - not impressed at all. Bhature didn't have enough fermentation and very over fried (see how red they look in pic). For Chhole, taste could have been more bold. Glad to see raita and onions on the side with it. Combo thali- choose this if you are sharing it. Otherwise too much food for one person or make 2 meals out of it. I had picked dal makhani, mix veg, saag and butter naan from the options. Dal makhani was pretty good although I was expecting more of dhaba style taste, don't know why. Mix veg tasted like home cooked sabzi. So neither good neither wow. Saag was perfection to me. (Leftover saag tasted even better haha) Butter naan - loved how it was soft yet crispy and that it didn't get chewy when it got cold. Loved the raita, jeera rice was well cooked, quantity of salad and achar was delicious. Dessert- got Gulab Jamun which was freezing cold and hard as rock. Tasted a tiny bit and that was that. All in all- it was a hit and miss experience. But I would to give them second chance

Plus, they had a few vegan choices for me (highly caloric, not super healthy, but still, they had more than one choice, and vegan offerings that weren't salads). They even had three tasty mocktails and some alcohol-free beers (since I don't do booze anymore either)! The veggie burger came with a squishy bean patty, with peas in it -- not my fave texture or flavor but tolerable -- and a tahini sauce... but they barely put any sauce on it. A gourmet, no-high-fructose-corn-syrup ketchup or tomato jam might have been better, or at least more of the tahini. It did come with a nice pile o' crunchy pickles (love) and a lovely green salad with balsamic dressing (way too many carrots). Service was fast and friendly. Ambience is upscale bar, with fun and interesting murals on the walls -- they had a terrific music playlist going, and the Hubbins and I ended up kind of dancing in place without realizing it. Public parking lot directly across the street meant we didn't get soaked by the rainstorm, and didn't have to drive around forever dealing with construction, looking for a parking spot. A nice, easy option for dinner with the fam without having to work/think too hard about it -- something to suit all of our varied diets.

Tlaolli stood out for its vegan offerings. Plenty of vegan taco options, birria (an absolute rarity to see vegan birria), and torta. They offer soy chorizo, jackfruit, and king oyster mushrooms as protein options. The exterior is colorful, and inside there are seating options. We had gotten our food to go, so I cannot comment too much on the service. Had placed our order online, and the food was ready within the estimated time in the order. We ordered the vegan birria tacos ($17.99), the vegan torta ($10.99 base but added soy chorizo, which was $3.99), and the no-no-no taco ($5.99). Our total with fees was approximately $45.
