One of the best places in Indy for Indian street food. It is not a big space, order at the counter and grab a table as 'chaats' are best eaten fresh! Another point to note is that Hari foods serves only vegetarian food. They also sell house made Indian sweet treats. Their 'ras malai' is hands down the best I have had in the US. I've heard so many good things about this place - and the authenticity of their menu options. They do have items that aren't as easy to find in most other Indian restaurants. They were very busy for a Saturday late afternoon. They have a wide selection of Indian street food, cakes, pastries, snacks, drinks, and specials. The Pani Puri, Vada Pav, and Kachori were good. The Vada Pav was a great sandwich, it had a lot of different flavors that blended well together. Ok this is a good vegetarian India street side food spot and not just for Indians but anyone who would love to try authentic flavored Indian food. We went on a really high recommendation. We tried a variety of different options such as Samosa Chaat (potato fried crisp with chickpeas in tangy sauce) Kachori Chaat, Dahi Puri, Chickoo Milkshake, Jalebi Rabdi and Paan. My family visits this place on a weekly basis. The quality and taste gets better by the day. It is really awesome. I specially love their mirchi bajji and daal kachori. the worst catering service. we paid in advance for food and delivery and the day of the event they forgot to deliver the food because they forgot the time for delivery. the owner prakash is one of the most rude and arrogant person i have ever met. it was my son's wedding and most of my guests left without eating. worst part was that he was unapologetic about it and blamed us for not reminding him the day of the event even though i spoke with him the day before. never never order anything from him. all my guests from indy also agreed and said they will tell their friends and families never to order food from this place especially till this guy prakash is there. with his attitude pretty sure he is going to be out of business. he will learn a lesson when his business closes down which i am sure will be closed very soon. had to give 1 star because i was not able to post the review without it. wish there was a negative rating. read more

Very poor management. I placed a phone order for 4 items. I was told it would take 20 min. I gave them 30 min. When I reached there, they ignored me for first 10 min as if I did not exist. Then they told me my order will be ready soon and turned to others who came after me. After delivering their food they told me my order needs to be placed again! WTF! When I placed the order the cashier kept confusing between chhole Bhature and Pav bhaji. It's not like they sound the same!
