Meh. I decided to try this place for lunch today. I love lentil soup so I decided to try that with a pita bread. On the lentil soup- way to salty I didn't finish it. The pita - light and fluffy. Good however the pita has over 250 calories. Which is a lot. Service- poor. The girl tried to put my soup in the bag dripping with soup on the side so I asked her to please wipe it off. She did however she would not look at me and did not put my pita in the bag. I had to reach around and grab my own pita. If you want great food and great service, I'm a huge fan of Benjyehuda on Meecham. I usually go there a few times a week and wish I had gone there today. read more

I guess I really shouldn't be surprised people would leave Day 1 1-star reviews because entitled reasons, but c'mon. So let me come at this review from the other end: my wife was here Day 1 and we're back on Day 3 and we've got nothing but love for Naf Naf. She waited in line 2 hours on Monday to take advantage of the free food offer. Even though it was busy af the staff hooked her up and apologized for the chaos. Back today after things have settled down, meaning 25 people instead of 250, it still looks like they're running a tight ship. Sure they ran out of lentil soup by the time we got to the front, but I'm not gonna cry about it. The food is great for what it is: fast casual. I feel like it's going to be the next Chipotle, and that's not a knock against either of them, been eating there for years. If Naf Naf can last half as long as Chipotle has, I'll be thrilled. read more

I just want to start off by saying I love Naf Naf Grill. I have been going to various locations from the city and other suburbs for several years. I have been super excited for this one to open in my home town of schaumburg, but was very disappointed by what transpired on opening day. My family and I set out around 7:30pm to grab what was supposed to be the first Naf Naf experience (for a few of my family members). Once we arrived at the restaurant we were "greeted" by two white males stating that they didn't have any more food. First off I understand that they ran out of food, and I'm very happy for their successful grand opening! BUT... The reason I am giving 1 star is that... The two males were extremely rude; not only us but to many other customers as well. They seemed stressed and pissed to see us ("us" being customers that wantED to BUY THEIR FOOD!) They yelled at another party for being too late (the grand opening was till 8pm). No apologies were given and not even a spec of customer service was shown. I hope that management can fix this right away, because this is not how a business should be run. Thanks for letting us down. read more

So, the hype was spot-on. I've heard NOTHING but wonderful reviews for Naf Naf Grill. I couldn't figure out how a restaurant with such limited menu items would be that spectacular that people couldn't stop raving about it. I'm sure you can imagine how excited I was when I learned that Naf Naf Grill was coming to Schaumburg. I attempted to stand in line on opening day to try their food, but I think 500 other people thought the same as me. With my head held low, I decided to visit another day. Since their grand opening (May 2018), I've come here over six times already. I just can't get enough of this place! The hype is real. The chicken is so flavorful and tender, the pita bread is pillowy soft, the chopped salad is fresh, purple cabbage tender, and pickles are crisp. Everything is just delicious. I tried their pita sandwich and the portion is huge. They really pack it in there. There are many Mediterranean restaurants in the Woodfield Mall area, and I have to say hats off to you Naf Naf Grill. You are definitely number one! read more

I was so excited when I found out about new location in my home town Schaumburg. I couldn't wait to go there and take my family with me. After today's experience I know I will never go there again so as my family and friends. Way overpriced!!!! Visited this location around 8 pm and tried the rice bowl with steak. The steak was cold and little sauce was put on the bowl. The sides looked like they were not refreshed in a while. This may be a great place with fresh food during busier hours, but to me it was a waste of money. read more

My first experience of Naf Naf was waiting in a line for about 10 minutes to order our food. As I approached the front of the line we were told they had run out of pita bread but would give us falafel if we wanted. Upon ordering, all of the associates seemed highly stressed and working very hard and at a very fast pace. It was hard to keep up with my own bowl as it was speeding through the line but no one in front of me was moving. I ordered 3 falafel in my couscous bowl and I'm almost positive I was charged for all the falafel, but I can't be too sure as I was not given my receipt at the end (I wasn't even asked if I wanted it). I'm fine with waiting in line. I'm fine with them having run out of food. I liked how busy they were, I presumed many people were returning from opening day with the coupon they received since they missed the free food (there were 2 people in my group that were lucky enough to have said coupon)! I don't like feeling rushed to make decisions. I feel like the options were lacking in comparison to other restaurants of this caliber. I will definitely be back though. The food was tasty and surprisingly filling. I want to let things settle down a bit before I head over there again. It's great they were busy and things were booming for them, but I only have a set allotment of time for lunch and don't like feeling rushed to get there, get food, eat food and go back to school. Once they get into their new norm, I hope to be back to try their rice bowl. I loved their hummus and their falafel was super tasty. I've been to this location twice since it's opened, both times having placed an order online. The second day after they opened, there were a few issues with the online/mobile ordering, but they were quick to accommodate us and get us what we needed. Both times my food was hot and fresh, the pitas are always good. They're a little on the pricey side for fast food, but I can always get two meals out of one order. My first naf naf experience was in des plaines 3 years ago and I've frequented that same establishment over 50 times since. I love Naf Naf Grill! However, this location does not have the same quality. The pita tastes just as good but that's it. The protein meats tastes different. Not bad but not good. I've been here three times and all three times were not as good as the des plaines location. I hope this changes Bc I really looked forward to this place opening up. read more

Needed some medi yums for lunch so popped in with a friend/coworker. There were no tables outside prob because its getting colder but we sat in the two Adirondack chairs outside. So excited they have a 2 protein plate option now. It comes with base and salad/add ons. I got the basmati rice with my fave chicken schwarma (love the way it's perfectly sliced & diced here), 4 falafel (yummm) and tabouli! They also now have tabouli here. Would recommend more bulgar there was too much parsley for sure! Also got some pickles and extra tahini. read more

So we went here for dinner last night. My falafel was cold and I didn't really enjoy it. Best thing about naf naf is the pita. We took this seat that had a high chair and crumbs everywhere on the floor and seat which I cleaned off for my son. My daughter complained why are we sitting here its so dirty and I said its the only open seat with 4 chairs so we don't have a choice and I will clean it up since the people that work there don't seem to have time... Womens bathrroo. Was out of order so had to have my daughter wash her hands in the mens which was also dirty... They need to hire more people to keep the place clean and tidy and its getting to be a turn off to eat here bec tables are dirty as well as the floor and lots more falafel places to choose from in schaumburg too. read more

I have tried Naf Naf before at their locations in the city and LOVED it. I can safely say that I fell in love with it then. I was thrilled when they opened up a location 5 minutes away from me in Schaumburg. I received a coupon for a free pita or bowl so yesterday I figured I would use it for a quick dinner. I walked into Naf Naf to order my falafal bowl. That is when it began to go very wrong. I asked the lady behind the counter for rice in my bowl. She literally SPRINKLED a few grains of rice into my bowl. I asked for more rice and she told me that I would be charged for $3.00 since any more rice than what she had already given me would be considered a side dish. I then told her that I have been to Naf Naf before and ordered a bowl before with MORE rice than what she had given me. She unhappily informed me that she does not know why that happened and could not give me more rice in my bowl. She asked me which sauces I had wanted so I told her the three sauces that I had wanted. She gave me 2 of the 3 that I had asked for and when I told her that she forgot one, she rolled her eyes and opened my bowl and sloppily added the 3rd sauce. She then told me that I never told her about the 3rd sauce, when I actually did. My bowl looked like a pile of crap that had been thrown together with too much hummus. She made zero effort to put the bowl together nicely, like Naf Naf has done in the past with my previous visits at their other locations. Needless to say, I will drive further to go to a Naf Naf with better customer service and where I won't have eyes rolled at me as a PAYING CUSTOMER. STAY AWAY FROM THIS NAF NAF! read more

I love Naf Naf. The first time I went was about 10 years ago when they opened on Ogden in the old Taco Bell building in Naperville. It was love at first taste. I've been a regular since. The original Naf Naf moved to Freedom Dr. Ok the food was still good. But as they open more and more restaurants, the food has become worse. Lots of obvious cost cutting. They seem to prefer quantity over quality. The food in other Naf Nafs are still ok but not as good as when they first opened. This one in Schaumburg? It's just plain bad. The line was long and moving slowly during lunch time. I ordered chicken shawarma and it was very dry. Portion is small. It wasn't a good experience. I miss the old Naf Naf. It's a shame that they have made it more and more like a chain fast food joint. It seems like all they want is to open more restaurants but totally forgot how to make good food. It's sad. read more

Unfortunately, I was amongst the disappointed many that were turned back on opening day, despite getting there over an hour and a half ahead of their published closing time. Yes, I understand that the management might have underestimated the number of people that might show up. However, for courtesy's sake, those being turned away could have been given at least a coupon as a sign of goodwill, to make up for the confusion with the suddenly changed end-time for the event. First, I experienced Naf Naf in Naperville and Aurora. Menus and tastes just fine and outstanding. Expecting the same concept here in Schaumburg. They only offer 2 of their ordinary items chicken shawarma and steak. Couple sides. And they call it Middle Eastern cuisine. I would review first locations for 5 stars. But this location as well as the downtown location don't come closer. It looks they pour money down on marketing but, they overlooked this little detail. Obviously they would like to serve fast at crowded locations expecting more people, it is a huge mistake for Schaumburg area. Their original concept will catch more attention. Do not cater from here. We spent almost $200 dollars for catering for 12 people (16 falafels 1/2 small pan of chicken and 1/8 pan of steak)and the amount of food we got was laughable. Even our guests thought it was crazy. Each guest had about 1/2 of a standard bowl. We ordered pizza. I called the District manager and didn't get a response. We had an unfortunate experience with this location this weekend. The chicken kabob plates we had ordered were really sub par. The rice was very dry, the purple cabbage was really salty and the chicken was full of fat and salt. We have been to other locations and had much better experiences. I spent about $40 for the 2 of us: I had the grilled steak & couscous bowl with all their toppings and 3 different sauces, she had the chicken with veggies bowl, we also had 2 lentil soups, 12 falafels, 2 grapefruit San Pellegrinos for me and a fountain drink for her! The food is pretty good I have had naf naf at previous locations. I am giving it 3 stars because the costumer service was not the greatest to be honest. The icing on the cake is when I went to go ask for additional red spicy sauce to go for my food, and the girl flat out said no. I felt embarrassed and "salty" I've never encountered naf naf saying no to me for an additional sauce to go. She did not even offer an explanation. It was rude.
