The sushi is fine. Really small rolls, with a little bit of fish, that tastes pretty good. The prices are solid. Under $4 for fish rolls, so if you're looking for cheap takeout, his is a solid place. Delivery is also super fast. Like 30 minutes fast, when the drive to your house is 10 minutes alone. Not sure how they do it. My picks are spicy tuna- avocado, California, and spicy salmon roll. I like this place. In my surrounding it is good place to go, good location. They desrve 4 stars, rolls are fresh and if I don't like smoked salmon, they change it, no questions asked. The only thing I didn't like, they asked for tips in a very rude form, as a must do thing. As for me, tips are a money that you pay if you like the service, the food. Otherwise 50 cents will be enough. And those moment was I did not get my order yet for pick up and they already asked me to pay tips. Sushi and rolls are not bad, but my mom had salmon teriyaki and it was really bad. Is there a chef in this place? Really? I think someone cooked this who never went to chef training. Nagoya is my usual sushi takeout around this area since the pandemic. I usually get a few of their simpler rolls like the eel/avocado or their salmon lover platter. Arrives at a decent time and tastes good! Their seaweed salad is tasty but was overpriced for the amount they gave. Still recommend this place and think it's a good value and quality! read more

I love Nagoya! I've been a patron for almost a year and they have never disappointed me once. They serve some really fresh fish - their salmon sashimi is to die for cos they absolutely melt in the mouth! Their special rolls are very uniquely named and well-priced according to the neighbourhood. Kings Highway roll is my favorite special roll drizzled with their special sauce, to which until now I cannot decipher its special ingredient! Most of the Sushi rolls are only $2.75. The rolls are good. Make sure to ask for extra Wasabi when ordering multiple rolls. They have a tendency to give only a little, even for an order of 4 rolls. One thing that concerns me a bit is that their letter grade is a B. I've been a customer for years. They started out with an A. Lost it. Got a B. Went back to A. Then again to B. The female hostess is a poor representation of what a good host should be. Being a current owner of a business in the hospitality industry within NYC, I can speak for all owners who would hope that their staff provides the quality of service that would entice customers to excitingly return. Her attitude was disgusting as if she was annoyed that she had to serve me as any racist would be or maybe just a miserable person. It's funny because I was born and raised in the neighborhood and it's always those that are not from the community that behave badly. They usually get busy closer to the weekend, especially evenings. Prices are fair and definitely better than city pricing. Many different varieties of sushi rolls. They have regular sushi rolls like California roll and Philadelphia for about $3. Their special rolls range from $8-$20. The crowd is usually mixed between families and couples. Love the fried ice cream. I haven't had any of the other dishes to comment except for the sushi. Edamame is good as well. The kani salad is also good. The food deserves a 5 star but unfortunately the current receptionist is very rude and impatient. I normally receive excellent customer service but the regular receptionist is on maternity leave. There is a way to talk to a customer, a regular at that. But sighing out of frustration that the customer doesn't know the answer to a question is not the way to go. As a fan of sushi, and someone who eats it numerous times during the week and even sometimes a few times in a day; I have never experienced what I am currently going through. I should've know I had food poisoning because right after eating sushi here literally 20 minutes after I began having a stomach ache. I ordered from here many times. Whenever I ask for no ice, there is ice. ALWAYS. That is very annoying. Such a simple thing can't go wrong ALL time. To be honest, there were a few times before this last order that I paid extra for spicy mayo, NOPE not there. Eel had a little weird taste; last time couple of times it was ok; but not great. That is inconsistency; major downfall for many restaurants-- inconsistency. Cmon, eel is the easiest to NOT mess up. One thing though: this is a 'sushi' restaurant owned by Chinese people; my expectation for their Pad Thai wasn't high. I have had many Pad Thai before and their Pad Thai simply sucked. No tamarind, no flavor or any sorts except the chicken, simply NO effort. Nagoya should either remove Pad Thai or sell it when they learn how to cook it properly. Only delivery has improved-- everything else seem to have went down the slope; I've been ordering from this restaurant for 3 years. I used to live 2 blocks away from the restaurant, still took them 1 hour to deliver. This happened twice when I was 2 blocks away and lazy. The first time, they gave a discount, but the second time, they were not apologetic. Why this whole essay? Because today was probably my last time ordering from here. Fugu sushi is so much better. Jin restaurant at Quentin's Pad Thai taste better than this one and it's also owned by Chinese people. Even the 86th street's Nagoya have better food. What excuse does Kings Highway Nagoya have? Trust me, Nagoya either needs better management, or this comment as a reality check. read more
