I always come in around 10-11am and have luckily never waited more than 5 minutes, even without an appointment. While the nail tech who was supposed to be doing my nails was finishing up with another client, another tech helped out by getting me started and removing my previous gel color. In hindsight, I would make an appointment just in case because the shop is small and there were already quite a few customers in the morning. $50 for gel removal and French tip gel with designs. My nails definitely held up with no chips for about two weeks. My only quip is that one time I needed acrylic tips for a few fingers since my nails were so short. The acrylics weren't applied very close to the nail, as if it was lifting a bit. It got the job and the look done but I definitely had to wash my hands more thoroughly each time because dirt would get stuck underneath.

Wonky sides to nail polish and you can see how far from the cuticle the polish starts :(

TLDR: make sure to double check they understand what you're looking for before it's too late. Disappointed. There was a significant language barrier when I went in today, which is usually fine at nail salons, but they either misunderstood or just did their own thing. Even though there were zero customers when I came in, I still felt really rushed to pick a color. I got a gel manicure and pedicure, which was about $85. The disappointment came in realizing they got the pedicure color wrong and when I saw how low they filed my nails to make a shape I didn't want. I did ask for a polish color change long before they started painting, because I was rushed to make a decision, they accommodated, but I guess got the wrong one. Ended up with a luminous finish I didn't want. I couldn't see what the woman was doing as she was painting my toes because they had a big pillow on my lap doing the manicure. The gentleman doing my nails filed them way too short, which is where most of my frustration is coming from. He had asked if I wanted square tip, and because my nails are already short right now, so I said no, only a little evened out because I didn't want them shorter. Well, he went to town on my first hand, and by then it was too late, the only thing to do was to make the other hand equally short and stumpy. They'll grow back, but for the price and the fact that I was getting them done for something important, I'm still really upset by this. Respectfully, if he didn't understand he should have asked. Overall, if the language barrier is that significant (as it seemed to be tonight); maybe there should be a photo menu of shapes or something so both parties are in agreement about what is going to happen. Some of the nails were a little more rounded on the very edge, which they should be, and others were sharp points where he had filed in the side in more. No nails should have had sharp points on them to scratch yourself or break a nail easier. I had to ask for a file to make them closer to the same and get rid of the sharp points on a few nails, because he didn't understand, but I definitely shouldn't have to do that. Not a big deal, but still. It seems like the word "tip" is the same in the language they were speaking as English, because even though both of them could I was disappointed by my nails about 1/2 way through when I saw how short the first hand was, nobody asked me about it. Instead, when I went to pay, the woman who did my pedicure said to the other guy something I'm 95% sure was about the tip (which, I'm sorry, but it is incredibly rude to: 1. Talk around me like I'm not there and 2. Talk about your tip when you can tell I'm disappointed and haven't asked at all why to try to correct it). A younger woman came in when I was about 80% done and came up to the counter when I noticed the color was wrong, which I didn't see right away because I was upset about the length of my nails, and asked me if everything was ok. She was nice, but there was nothing she could do to fix either issue at that point. I told her it is what it is, and paid. I wouldn't have accepted a discount, but no one offered, just looked at me like "welp." Left more than 20% tip, cause I'm not an asshole, but won't be back. The manicure/pedicure are okay if you don't look close. The manicure needed more skin around then nail removed, and would have been nice if he painted closer to the nail so it didn't look a week old the door.

This nail salon never disappoints. I'm very picky with shape and Kevin did it so well and so quick!! I also got a gel pedicure French tips and my toes look so pretty. Love the staff!!

The worst pedicure I have ever received , I honestly could have just done it myself. It's hard enough getting my boyfriend to go to the salon with me so I told him I would get him a pedicure ! We just wanted the basic $20 pedicure. We arrived just before 7pm (they close at 7:30pm) the nail woman who did my boyfriend barely did anything did not clean in between his nails(which is the only reason he agreeed to a pedicure ) The woman looked angry & left just after 10min.... the woman who did my toes was not wearing gloves and did not cut my toe nails like I asked.... she barely filed them. She applied 3 layers then immediately put my flip flops on . Making me feel like I had to leave... I waited a little bit it seemed they wanted us to leave. I still tipped which I regret. My toe nails go smeared like an hour later. It's been a week. I would not recommend this nail shop.

This was my first time here. The salon is very cute. I came in on a Wednesday morning. It wasn't too busy and everyone was very nice and professional. I was recommended by a friend. I had a great experience and my nails were done just how I wanted them. My nail tech for my manicure is on IG @l.beautybeauty I also had a pedicure and I am very picky about the white on my toes. I like it to follow my natural curve. I believe Julia did my pedicure and she did a really nice job. I was specific with what i wanted and she didn't disappoint. I had a gel removal, a powder ombré manicure, and a French pedicure. I do a similar service at another salon and it's usually $75. Here is was $93 - it was a little more than I was expecting and I can't find pricing online to see what the breakdown was - however I didn't ask while in the salon. Overall a really nice job

The matt gel was broken after only 1 week

I went there for about 6 months and also recommended them to my friend too because their service and quality was fair at the beginning. I did my nails done with Julia every single time I went there. But unfortunately her attitude started to change. She didn't pay attention and was always in a hurry. She made my fingers bleeding couple of times and seems nothing happened!!!! Also the salon and their tools are not clean. I didn't see she sensitize her tools even once!!! She use the same tool for everyone without cleaning in between. The other bad point is that even we made an appointment, we had to wait very long time to be seated specially on the weekends. I don't recommend Julia and this place at all!

    What I wanted
    Mayson M.

Julie was absolutely amazing. She Opened up her doors early just to take me in so I had enough time to get my nails done before I had to head to work. (Very accommodating) she is obviously very skilled I got referred from my best friend who had just got her nails done and looked amazing! The cost was perfect for what I got definitely not over charged which is the reason I strayed from my previous nail lady was overcharging me and not giving me exactly what I wanted. Let me tell you, Julie gave me exactly what I wanted. So so so happy with my nails and my Experience. Thank you Julie!

My friend birthday lashes she doesn't like them she said there's so many gape

Rushed and patchy and wasn't given lash bath before you given lash shampoo like she said she would she also cut our bottom eyelashes because they stuck to the top corner. Definitely not worth 135$. My friend birthday lashes she doesn't like them she said there's so many gape.we both wanted them think but I'm sure she would've done better if she didn't rush.

Cindy is awesome. she takes her time and really pays attention to detail. she made my nails INCLUDING my cuticles look awesome! I think I found my go to spot. They have a wide variety of colors including the trend that's poppin right now.... chrome. Keep in my mind chrome polish here is $10 and up extra, but it's well worth. Everyone here was really nice. Oh and don't forget your punch card too. Prices are "moderate", but I felt it was worth it. I will be back again soon for a pedicure. Thanks again Cindy!

I have been coming here for quite some time now since I moved to San Diego. All the ladies here are lovely and always give me a positive experience. Every time I have a concern whether is be breaking, staining, or anything they will gladly help and repair. My beautiful yellow flower nails were done by Kayle! Go see her! She also does permanent makeup as well! My pink and white nails were done by Julia! She is extremely talented and will give you beautiful acrylics!

    Dip by Julia
    Kloude F.

This is my third time getting dip/powder nails done here. I've had Julia and Linh both and they're amazing! I've spent over a year trying to find who does my nails as well as my previous lady (who lives in Houston) and now I've found two! Julia and Linh both pay very close attention to detail. They make sure my nails are perfect length, shape and color wise. They don't rush and take their time. I love that they have a new way of applying the dip powder that makes it quicker, more even, longer lasting and better color wise when doing ombré. So happy that they're also under 2 miles from where I live. I will keep coming back for sure!

2 stars because the quality of the work, particularly with the more experienced technicians is fairly good. In the 1+ year of me going here (off and on), I never had issues with breakage for my medium-long acrylics. The story below is a pretty good read lol but if you don't have time to read it all...in short, don't waste your money here. There are so many other nails salons (close-by) that will do a better job and respect their paying customers. With that said, I will never be attending this nail salon again. As a hard working woman with a once a month indulgence away from corporate America, I genuinely wanted to share my experience to other hard working individuals who are contemplating spending their money here. See below: One week ago, I came here to get a fill. I expected it to be packed due to Thanksgiving. No worries! They were able to seat me within 15/20 minutes. I didn't recognize the tech that they gave me (no biggie) BUT she was doing a pedicure prior to sitting with me and I did not see her wash her hands (lol eww, wth). Anywho, I'm just getting a fill which takes 1 hour or like hour 15 min tops. This girl is soooo slow, omg. No lie, it took her like over 2 hours. I bit my tongue the whole time because I wanted to be patient and I wasn't really in a rush. But seriously?!? The other techs starting making comments and she would try to rush...but she'd still just kept doing something and then re-doing it. She must have filed my nails for an hour alone ‍. It got so bad that the main nail tech woman literally like pushed her out the seat and finished up my polish. Again, a good practice in patient but I was surprised that none of the other experienced techs (who were instructing her and making comments the whole time because she was obviously new) said anything to me like "oh sorry it took so long, our bad. We talked to her about it." At the least, right? I thought so. But ok, I paid, left a tip and left. And before you say "It wasss the day before Thanksgiving" ....surprisingly it wasn't busy. I maybe saw like 4/5 people come in and 2 of them had appointments. There were over 5-7 nails techs there alone. (Side bar) **these technicians are literally the most obnoxious I have ever experienced. In my years, honey! They talk so clearly about things and people in broken English, rudely and laughing** (again...I'm just a hard working woman here, idk who hurt them but it wasn't me sis) Fast forward to today, my thumb nail broke completely off so I went there to have them fix it. I walk in, show them, and the main woman who sits at the very front yells out (again so obviously) "is it gel?!?" or something of that nature. All the younger girls yell back "Gel" in English and start laughing. I'm like "ok lol so....." I got the nail fixed but the whole time they are like swarmed around me talking, laughing, and being goofy. No worries, but I've never seen a professional salon behave so freely (again with broken language and gestures) around customers. Particularly a return customer. At the end, I get ready to leave and say good bye. One woman yells to the girl that did my nails. She then asks me for $3. I left her my $5 which I was going to leave her for tip. Out of curiosity, I asked why I had to pay. Typically a salon will honor the quality of the product especially if it is recently done. The girl responded "after a week, we have to charge you. (I had my done exactly 1 week ago to the day) if you came sooner like 3 days after then we would have covered it." Again, just thought that's useful information for anybody that's thinking about going here. *update* literally the next day ANOTHER nail breaks off clean. See pictures. Not only is it painful but it reminded me of another thing I forgot to mention. So when I first got this set done by the less experienced tech, I noticed that she didn't even touch the back of the nails. After an hour of filing, she missed that whole part. Typically they will take a cone like machine to clean out the back. When the more experienced tech took over, I asked her if she could do this for me. SHE LAUGHS to the other girls and is clearly complaining about my request. Mind you, I am the customer that has already been patiently sitting here while you let a new girl "practice" on me... She begins to file the back (on my already polished nails...?) and then takes out nail glue. She ask starts taking nail adhesive to the back of my nails and still laughing to the other girls. I must have missed the joke because I've worked in the service industry for several years and I would NEVER be so brazenly rude. So now, as you can see in the picture. When the nails are literally falling off (this is now the 2nd nail in 1 week), they are now painfully glued to the top of my real nail that's growing underneath. Also, this fill has now cost me $50+ with the "repairs". Not even a fresh set, we're talking about a 1 week old touch-up.

This is 4wks after I got them done & they still look great! Obviously, aside from needing a fill... But it's not lifting and no chips!!

I went in for a classic pedicure and asked for her to file my nails and change the color, that's it! The technician was nice so I feel bad leaving this review, but the way she removed the gel from my toes was awful! She filed it down, put acetone and let it sit for a bit. Then she proceeded to peel off the old gel and tore the corner of my nail OFF. She then proceeded to say I had thin nails! I've been getting gel pedicures for a while now and NEVER has anyone tore a piece of my nail OFF! As a technician, even if my nail was thin she could of used a machine to remove the gel instead of tearing it off the way she did. I was so upset! She tried to tell me she would add a piece, which I declined so I just told her to cut what she could without leaving my nail too short. I will never return here. Maybe some folks like this method of removal but I did not and will not be returning for a pedicure. I will add the chairs were comfortable and I also got a gel manicure which he added so many layers too! There was one lady too that came by and was just talking to the technician who did my nails and the vibe just felt uncomfortable! I will never return!
