summary of my past two visits: During my first visit, my nail artist refused to use the color polish I requested and attempted to paint my nails using an entirely different color twice. Each time, I had to point out that she wasn't using the color and each time she would try to convince me she had brought what I had asked for. This seemed like an odd thing to lie about because the bottles are clearly labeled and I had to point out that the label did not match what I had requested. During my second visit, I had requested a French manicure using regular varnish. Only after I was in the middle of the service, did they say that a French manicure with regular varnish wasn't possible. I'm not sure if rhe artist simply didn't know how to do a French manicure or if she was upset I didn't choose a more expensive service. Either way, I was refused the French manicure I originally requested and had to settle for my nails to simply be painted. When visiting a nail salon, I would hope that the artists will honor my requests but it seems this place isn't interested in that. read more

Came in today just for a basic pedicure. I had high hopes as I went to the Sunnyvale location and really liked it. It was super nice and most of the ladies seemed nice! Unfortunately, the lady doing my pedicure did not do a great job. You can see the uneven job done on the nails and there was a small mistake made on my big toe. Instead of taking it off and redoing it, she painted over it and you can still see where she made a mistake. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend coming here. I went in for a fill and pedicure. The nail tech decided I needed a new set which I did agree to. Initially I asked for black French tips a specific way and I gave an example too. He was not able to do it how I wanted which was frustrating so I decided to go with solid black half way through one hand. And while the lady is doing my pedicure she proceeded to cut with the cuticle tool and my blood was on the towel and she kept having to clean it throughout the remaining process. Once the service is completed and it's time for payment, the lady takes my card and just scans it for a whopping $165. I had to ask her how much it was after the fact and she didn't give any type of explanation so I only do a $10 tip each and that's just being too nice. I should have gotten a break down of the price because it should not have cost $60 for a pedicure with uneven toes which is very preventable. And $105 for a basic medium length set with uneven nails is actually diabolical. I feel like I was scammed out of my money and I will not be a returning customer. That is the last time I will waste my money on a horrible nail salon service. I'm only giving my money to nail technicians that take the time and care about the outcome of their service with clients. Update response to nail salon: I was there Friday 01/24/25 with a male technician and a an older lady around 12 PM. I liked the vibe of the place, their service was prompt, they maintained cleanliness. They were able to successfully give me the design I asked for so I was satisfied. It's just I found the place too expensive I wish I'd known earlier so I wouldn't visit. They did tell me the price once I arrived and showed them my design but not on the phone as it depends on the design so once I was there it was difficult to cancel my appointment and leave abruptly when they told me it would be 90 dollars sans tip for the design I asked and it wasn't even that fancy it was French manicure with little snowflakes for Christmas! Thé place is clean and there were lots of people for a workday morning. Many teenagers since it is still summer vacation for them. I needed basic mani pedi. Cleanliness of my nails is okay. Not the best I have had but just okay. The color on my pedi did not look right. It looked like there was a dark line outline around and they kept telling me it's my skin. But I had this done at other places and it did not look this way. It was a gel pedicure so I kept it. Thé gel pedicure and basic no polish manicure cost me more than $100 with tip. Definitely on the expensive side. I am always willing to pay more for amazing cleaning. Unfortunately, that is not the case here. This place is good for party because of their space and hospitality. When you are seated, they offer you a glass of water and watermelon! How refreshing! I had made an appointment for a manicure which I expected to last 30 minutes, per the website. I asked for a clear coat and was expecting a base with the clear on top. The technician seemed fine at first, but there was still residue left over from my last manicure - I pointed this out and she waved me off. She slapped some lotion on and then reached for Nailtiques. I hate that stuff as it peels off of me within a day. I explained that but she brushed me off. I pressed the issue but she insisted this is what people love. She wasn't going to back down and at this point I was frustrated with the entire vibe. She put ONE coat of the Nailtiques on and called it a day. She hovered over me while I payed, asked for a tip, and sent me on my merry way. All in 15 minutes. The Nailtiques has already peeled on two nails, as predicted. Awful. read more

I think I just found my favorite nail salon in the South Bay!!! It was super easy to make an appointment over the phone. When my friend and I arrived, we were greeted by an incredibly friendly staff. The moment they seated us, they offered us water, tea, and even grapes! They made sure we were super comfortable before even beginning the manicures. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and the results turned out identical! They have a lot of talented manicurists that can do a whole bunch of nail art, so I did not have to worry about one of those "what I asked for and what I really got" situations.
