Ladies, I will make it short but sweet. I moved back to the Valley after living in the City for 8 years and am obsessed with Contempo Nails on Robertson. I have been searching for a great nail salon for the past few months and I finally found one here! I tried Mailan down the street, and the OPI Salon and was dissapointed with both. The ladies at Nails Boutique are really friendly and accomodating to bringing your own tools (they are really clean though). They have a great selection of OPI and Essie nail colors which is really important to me. The bottles are fresh so they don't get clumpy like the other places in the area. I was in and out in 45 minutes after a great mani/pedi and back massage! The only issues that I have is that they charge by the minute for the massage, usually its 8 bucks for 10 minutes and you cannot put the tip on your CC, so remember your cash ladies! I got my mani on Tuesday before a beach vacation and it is now Monday and my nails and toes are still in great shape! read more

As always, there is a wide selection of OPI and Essie colors, and a mani/pedi really does last a long time. I've had my pedicure for almost 6 weeks now, and it's still perfect. If you're looking for a reasonably priced gel manicure, you must try Nail Boutique. The technicians are skilled, and the colors are pretty for all seasons. Make sure to grab a punch card when you pay. For every 10th visit, your next manicure is free ;) Also, they started a new deal Monday through Wednesday! $2 off manicures, $3 off spa pedicures, and $5 off mani/pedis. No respect for customers' time! I wanted to like this nail salon as I use to come years ago before moving and had a decent experience. I'm a returning customer after these years and it's just changed for the worst. The owner Amy has no respect for customers' time. I made an appt on 9/8/22 for pedicure and dip -- they started the pedicure and was told over and over again 5 min wait for dip. 45 mins later my pedicure was done and the dip technician still wasn't ready. I told Amy I would come back the next day and made an appt for 1:30p -- it's currently 1:58 and no technician for nails available. I have to leave as I have a 3p appt somewhere else and waiting another 5 mins over and over again will make me late yet again. An hour of my day has gone to waste for her just not being truthful! She gets you in and tries to sit you in a seat with hopes you'll wait and wait and wait. Time is our most valuable asset-- please DO NOT waste people's time!! read more

This is probably the first review that I've done immediately after visiting an establishment. I am just so in love with my nails so I couldn't help myself. I just went here last night. I had time to kill and my nails were in pretty bad shape. I found out about Nail Boutique from my sister in law who is a regular here. The first thing I loved was that I could book an appt. online on mytime.com. Genius!!! Always love things that make life easier! I mean its fine to call and make an appt. but why in 2014? I arrive and let them know that I needed to be out in an hour and I wanted to get gel mani & a pedicure. I usually don't like getting them both at my regular spot because they do the manicures at a regular nail station and you have to twist and turn every which way for the tech who's doing your feet. It just makes what's supposed to be a relaxing experience NOT one! But here at Nail Boutique, they set you up at a spa pedicure chair and the person doing your nails works on either side of you to get the job done! Now there's a concept! The girl who did my feet was really pleasant and was definitely upselling! I couldn't be mad. She first got me on the extra foot scrub and then as she's massaging my feet and calves like no other, she asks if I'd like an extended foot massage for ONLY $10 more. I mean....if you keep rubbing like that, how can I say no? Sucker! Now on to the nails. I got gel and I wanted to get a flat color with simple black nail art. I mentioned I had a wedding to attend this weekend and Aileen, my nail girl suggested glitter!! Ummm....glitter???? I can never say no! I won't keep this going but let's just say that this is the most fun mani I've ever had!!! We did different designs on each nail and it's GORGE!!! Really!!! Aileen was sweet and entertained my desire to try different things. Lastly, the manager was super sweet. While waiting for my nails to be completed, she came over, removed toe dividers, got my pants all pulled down again and applied more lotion to my feet before putting my flops back on! Asked if I needed water or a mag to read. You can tell they want to provide the best customer service. I've always had a great experience here. Ive gotten gel manis, pedis, and acrylics here & all my manicures have lasted at least 3 weeks. Unfortunately I always have to come on my lunch break, since I don't live around here, but have never had to wait more than 10 minutes. I thought the employees did a great job servicing us. Love these place, but I have only come for pedicures. The studio is very clean & bright... everyone is very nice. I usually do walk-ins, but one time I got a not so great pedicure by a male technician, so now I make an appointment with one of a few of the women that do a great job. Street parking can be a bit tricky with Lemonade & Granville now across the street, but you'll eventually find something. I heard there's parking in the back, but I'll never be one of those lucky people that snag one of those spots! read more

I came here with a friend for a mani once, and on her recommendation ("They're cheap and fast!"), I went back for a bikini wax. Whom you get as an esthetician varies, but they're all great: Fast (the longest it's taken me has been ten minutes), thorough, and really nice. The place is clean, if a bit narrow, but the staff is polite and does a great job. Amy, the usual woman at the front counter, is a total sweetie, and after my second trip remembered me and has since greeted me happily since. When I'm in the neighborhood and need a mani, pedi, or some hair forcibly removed from my body, this is where I go. Credit cards accepted, but tips are cash only. First time here and no complaints. The staff are very friendly and assist you right away. The place is huge and everything is new. You are not cramped and it actually doesn't smell like a horrible nail salon because it's so big (plus for me since I am prego and don't like the smell). Everything is clean and they also have a pedi spa section. The guy who did my manicure was very nice and quick... And not quick in a way that u end up with a horrible mani... My nails looked nice and I didn't have to be there for a long time. I was with my cousin and she got a mani and pedi and we were pretty much done together.. My mani cost $17 and I think that's decent.. My cousin got a gel manicure n I loved it so next time I will be doing the gel mani. read more

I had the worst experience this past weekend. I got a terrible pedicure from an employee named Anna. She had no clue what she was doing. My toes are so sore from her inability to properly get rid of my cuticles. I asked for callus removal and she left the solution on my feet too long. As a result, it irritated my skin and caused a rash. And to top it off they tried to overcharge me when I was done. Definitely never going back to this place! read more

I've had some pretty bad experiences in the past with nail places so it has made me very nervous about where I go. If I do go to a new place, I have to watch them like a hawk for the first 5-6 times to make sure they are doing it right. Well... they passed the test... perfect every time!! I have come here twice now, neither time did I have an appointment, and the second time I arrived twenty minutes before closing and still was able to get a nice, relaxing mani pedi complete with a totally dynamite shoulder massage. I also was having a hard time deciding on the color for my fingernails and even had the girl working on my hands show me how the first bottle I chose looked on one finger, and since we both thought it wasn't right she picked out a much better color that I'm much happier with. I also had declined the extra massage for my hands and feet, but the girls still spent a little bit of time working the tension out of them anyway. After months of not going to my regular salon because of distance and my new baby, I finally broke out of the house to get a much needed pedi/mani. Nail Boutique was the only place that would take me at 4pm on a Sunday. So they earned a star for that reason alone..... As previous posters have said, the place is huge and clean. Another star awarded. Both my mani/pedi were nice. Nothing amazing....both extremely quick and the massage given was a joke. They squirt a little lotion on you and rub it in. Done. But for an extra $10 you can get an extended ten minute massage. I succumbed to that on my feet. After chasing a toddler I seriously needed one. But I'll admit it made me yearn for Nail City on Melrose which gives you complimentary water, shows you their menu so you aren't guessing what they say, AND give standard 6-7 minute massages on both your arms, feet AND neck with the basic mani/pedi. So, all in all, Nail Boutique was nice but I think I will keep searching for the Valley's equivalent of Nail City. Especially since i don't think $47 is fair for what I got. I was currently looking for a nail salon near my new place and came across them while walking down Ventura blvd. I've booked several appts. and had one walk-in (15 min. before closing) and I never felt rushed or out of place. The ladies keep the shop well kept and clean. The owners are patient, sweet and very accommodating. A gel mani and basic pedi for me was under $40. A basic mani and pedi usually goes for $26-30 but I noticed that the basic mani lasts me 4 days, which is incredible for me, since I work in costumes and crafts (basic mani usually lasts a day on my nails :-/) They take cash and credit. Nail Boutique has nice hard working staff and they do an amazing job! I have been here quite a few times, and never really ever had an issue until today. I advise everyone to ask ahead for a price before they ask if you want something extra. I had chosen three different colors on my nails because I couldn't settle for one! So we did them. The woman who was doing my pedicure asked my if I wanted a foot massage for 10 minutes and I said sure! when I paid at the register I was hit was a higher bill thank I usually pay here. Before my card was charged, no one went through what I was charged for and just charged me based off of the amount they saw. Another woman came to recheck the price and said the 3 colors was $5 dollars extra. I didn't have a problem with that at all! I wanted to be extra. The only extra charge I was unaware of was the foot massage. A $10 foot massage??? This was not clearly communicated with me at all, so I advise people to please ask for pricing before they do anything. read more

Best Nail Salon ever and I've been everywhere in LA! My manicures and pedicures are ALWAYS PERFECT! This is my go to place now. Lynn at the front desk is always on point. I usually get my nails done by Paul or Tommy(sometimes Brian) but everyone gets rave reviews here. Becky and Vincent have done my pedicures. I do stiletto manicure (pointy tips) with acrylic (for typing fast) over my natural nail length and I never have a problem. I always get compliments. I was referred by a friend who has been coming here for years (gel manicure) and her nails are always perfect. On street parking but beware of parking enforcement.
