So just got the deluxe pedicure. I'm all about giving places a chance and since this place got such great reviews I thought I'd try it. When I walked in it didn't feel very spa like. The massage was okay the technician scraped the crap out of my cuticles and it's questionable whether they used clean tools. The design looks like shit as well and she messed up on it and had to repaint my nail and didn't even put a base coat or complete top coat before starting over. She also scraped Polish off my last two toes and then quickly redid them with out a base or top coat because another customer came in. She told me it was 35 and since I'm not an asshole I gave her a 5 dollar tip even though she didn't deserve shit. After she charged my card it shows 40.50. So she added 50 cents to her tip which I did not authotize. I was so annoyed I just left without saying anything because I doubt they would do anything about it anyway. What a waste of money. I should have gone where I normally go. As an update Tung L tries to keep leaving hateful comments on my review about how I won't be a good example to my children because I wrote a bad review about a place that provided poor service. It's been a month since I wrote my review and it is still bothering her. Gave this place a try because of the good yelp reviews and the pictures posted. I've been here twice and both times were amazing. Julie and Karina were so kind and most importantly gentle with my nails. They used the right tools to keep the integrity of my nails instead of just sanding them down to the skin leaving my nail super thin like most places have done to me. Not once have they cut or hurt me. They really take their time to ensure customer satisfaction. I really like that they were informative about my nails and made conversation instead of just trying to get me out of the salon and move on to the next person. It's been a while since I've gone to the salon. I usually do my own nail care but for this occasion I wanted a salon. I will say it was an overall pleasant experience. They kept checking that I was pleased with every aspect. I gave it four because I wanted my toe nails shorter, the male technician was reluctant to cut shorter because then too much skin would show. I told him I like it that way, I stopped persisting and let it be. I will try his suggestion of not cutting super short so my skin doesn't grown in. He also grabbed a darker color red that doesn't match my nails. I'm in time crunch so I also let it be. Other than that the end results good. I would probably come again if needed. read more

So, my big toes both smudged a few hours after I had them done, so I called the salon. Their policy on 24-hour re-do's is amazing! I was so glad the owner took good care of me the next day. My toes looked beautiful for my trip and continue to look great a week later. They definitely look at their yelp reviews -- they treated me like royalty the next day. Now, put a little soothing paint on the walls (soft gray, aqua?), and that will do wonders for the view as we get pedicures. :) read more

Only giving one star because I have to. If given the option I wouldn't even give that star. Came on a whim with a friend. Showed up and while one woman pretty much started working on me right away, walked off multiple times and eventually left me sitting in the chair with one hand filed and covered in oil. Eventually another woman came up to finish what the other woman left, but I had to tell her multiple times what had or hadn't been done. I scheduled an appointment one month in advanced before I was to leave for a month long trip. I received a call from Julie the day before the appointment to tell me that they couldn't take me because they preferred to service five ladies coming for a wedding. Keep in mind that I had this appointment set one month in advanced since I had a big trip which they were aware of. These ladies don't care about their customers because having an appointment means nothing to them. If you have an important event and need your nails done, I would not trust these ladies because their word means nothing! read more

I really liked the person that did my mani/pedi but I cannot recommend this place. The towels were visibly not clean and I'm not sure the tools were sterile. My pedicure looks good but my hands never saw water and look no better today than 6 days back when I entered the salon. Bummer. I am replying to Tony's concerns about my review. I'm happy you have regular patrons. My manicure involved NO soaking of my fingers in any water. And the towels were very stained and a long way from white. Bad day maybe? read more

Okay, I came back and I just had to change my rating. The language barrier does suck. I told them I'd get the 5- pedicure (seasalt) and my husband just got the regular mani-pedi. They didn't understand so they gave my husband the 5-pedicure and they tried giving me a manicure in addition to just the 5-pedi I asked for. Their work is great, but it sucks to pay for something you never asked for. Also, they like to keep the doors open so they're not using AC. That doesn't bother me, but it might bother some if the weather changes. read more

Not only was the lady who did my nails rude but she also did a crappy job. She was talking to her coworker the entire time and looking at her more than looking at my nailIs.. When I mentioned I only had an hour lunch break and if she could work on my nails the entire time she she yelled that she was. I told her she was stopping while talking. I only needed a fill for pink and whites. She redid the white which wasn't needed) and ruined the nice nails I had as more of them were crooked than not. I love the ladies at Nail Care & Spa! I always leave very happy. All of the ladies take their time on everything, I never feel rushed, or like someone is cutting corners. I usually opt for a gel manicure and a pedicure. The gel manicures have lasted me a very long time - sometimes up to four-five weeks. Prices are exceptional, and it's never jam packed, it's nice and relaxing. Still stoked on this place. I visited recently for two pedis and a color change on my fingernails. My hubby and I went on a Friday around 4:00. Only one other customer was seated. The ladies were friendly and showed concern for my hubby's comfort as he is temporarily in a wheelchair with two broken legs. They were accommodating and gentle. No scowls at his gnarly feet ;) I chose the #3 pedicure which has callous removal and sea salt scrub on the legs. It makes me super soft. #3 costs $23 if I remember correctly. I ended up at this salon because of Yelp reviews. My dad lives down here and I needed a mani/pedi. Karina was fantastic!
