Went in for shellac manicure and asked about chrome nails. She told me it looks tacky and just do dip nails. I declined. She then did the most rushed manicure I've ever received! I had cured paint on my skin and sloppily on my nails. She painted over the fluff that was stuck to my nail from the towel. I asked her to keep cutting the cuticle and hard skin next to my nail because I know it was needed and when she finally did some, she was like see it's fine? It was not. I still had plenty to trim. She filed some of the cured shellac that was making my nails wider but it still wasn't great. I tipped (stupid guilt) when I didn't want to and the lady and the register made a face when I lowered it. Really wanted to have a local place but I definitely won't be back. read more

The nail quality was fine however, the price for a solar fill on their website said $25. When I got done, they charged me $46! The sign in salon says $36 for solar fill. I called just before 5 requesting an appointment and I was able to get in within 30 minutes. I went somewhere else previously for acrylics and had a not so great experience and the acrylics did not look very great, were bubbling, and two fell off. I planned to just have them removed and get gel polish. When I arrived the lady (I didn't get her name, but wish I did!) told me I could get the two fixed and do a fill. I went ahead and did it, but was nervous.. SHE DID AMAZING. She thinned out the nails and shaped them. My nails also look more natural now. I walked out very impressed and so thankful that she fixed the acrylics and got me in the same day. I was hesitant after my last set which was done elsewhere. Pretty sure the person who did my pedicure cut in to my toenail and has caused it to be ingrown or infected. I didn't feel like things were very clean either. She was very nice but then I noticed two of the techs not wearing masks and just sitting around. Then another tech comes walking in without a mask on. Needless to say I started to get very nervous. I only went in because I haven't had a pedicure since lockdown and there were no clients. I thought I would take a risk because it seems like they're being safe, even though I have auto immune issues. I was wrong. I paid $50 (because yes I still tipped) for a swollen toe and still had rough heals afterwards even though I paid for the "deluxe". I think I'll try somewhere else next time. Bummer read more

I went in for leg waxing. I had a fair amount of hair, but nothing too crazy, just three weeks without shaving. My legs arent long and it Full legs were listed as starting at $55. Everyone from the staff were awful. I was the only person at the salon so they werent busy, yet they treated me as if they had 50 people in line. The waxing tech used wax way hotter than the usual and was a complete monster, moving my legs around with so much pressure i wanted to cry. Then she let the stuff into the room to chat with her, which was an absolute lack of respect for my privacy. On top of that, my legs are super hairy AND they had the audacity to charge me 70$!!!! However idk how he or anyone else their could let me walk out of the nail salon with these nails the lady who did them not only made me bleed from a simple manicure but did horrible with everything else as well. You can see in the photos that their are white speks on almost every single nail, that shouldn't be their. It should be a solid dark purple color. The lady also never asked what shape I would like and never once asked if I like my nails. The lady then continued to charge me $46. I have a fungus on both my two pinky nails that's causing them to lift because of this place. I got my nails done at the end of February for a trip I was going on. I noticed some things that should've made me stop the service entirely, but I was desperate to fill an aesthetic in my head and that leads to expectations. I realized that I was miserable after the service and after I had left because the nail tech practices unhealthy work habits, and left my nails looking worse. I had gotten a full set of acrylic nails, and normally I wouldn't have been complaining if the underside of the nails weren't made to look like he didn't put in his best effort and the top was still lumpy. He also didn't make sure my nails aligned with my finger, so they ended up crooked. He used too much glue and it stuck my own nails to my skin. He used a brush that was feathering and one of the bristles ended up in the acrylic of my pinky nail. I didn't think anything of it because the nail was later ripped off during my TSA inspection when I was arriving home. They didn't provide my own buffer and nail file, which you're supposed to do between clients. I also noticed they scrap all the nail dust into a plastic container under their work stations. Very unsanitary. I went to this place a few years ago, and I wasn't treated like this before when I went last time. These last two years have really changed. I still paid because the guy said if I could make in 15 mins, he could do my service. However, he made me believe his service was worth this. He got a phone call during my service, and he said those same words again to that client. I felt bad that he was the only one there, but he was still willingly lying to clients saying he could take them in 15 mins when he wasn't done with my service for another 25 mins. Good thing I decided to never go back, but other people should know. read more

Just had one of the worst experiences ever at this place. This place has definitely had a steady decline in the quality and value of their services. Husband and I have been here a few times with mixed experiences. Never more than a 3 star experience. He wanted to go today since it is close and they will usually get us in as walk ins fairly quickly. It's been a while since we've had our toes done since my hubby was waiting until his ingrown nail to heal. His ingrown was a result from the last time we were there. But he wanted to give them another chance. My bad experience today started with them bringing a glass of wine with bugs floating in it. Lots of bugs like more than 10 little dead bugs - I wish I would have gotten a picture of it. Today, I wore leggings so they would easily come up over my knees. The woman still managed to get them wet (both sides). It was clear she did not have much experience with pedicures. Both of my big toenails are sore from her trimming them too short. She also trimmed them weird digging out and pulling the sides of my nails away. Hopefully I don't end up with ingrowns as a result. Then rather than letting us sit and wait for my polish to dry, they put the free foam flip flops on me and asked us to pay. Basically rushing us out the door. Btw they were not busy, they did not need the seats we were in. By the time we got in our car, I was so tense from the experience that my neck and shoulders were tight and I had a headache. This on top of wet pant legs and sore toes. Unfortunately, that was the last chance I am willing to give them. $80 is way too much to spend on such an unpleasant experience. read more

**This is for the Milwaukie Location** I have gone to this place a total of 3 times. Each and every time, my toe has been cut, or my fingers have been cut. There should be NO reason to be cut EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! The last time was the final though. I went in for a mani/pedi reluctantly back in the beginning of December. It was the only place open in the evening and needed to get something done right away for an unexpected event that was coming up the following day. When doing my pedicure, the gal put the callous removal gel on my feet. As she was sluffing off the dead skin, she made a remark about my large toe and the callous on it. I tried to tell her that was just my toe - NOT a callous, and she raked the grater over my toe. My toe began to bleed. When I say bleed, it literally was pouring blood. Not just a small little trickle. It wouldn't stop bleeding!! She then wanted to put my foot back in the dirty water to rinse it. I snapped and said NO. She pulled the hose and rinsed it. Kept trying to keep it from bleeding but NOTHING was stopping it. Needless to say this happened almost 3 months ago and my toe is STILL healing from being sliced wide open. The wound is hard, and looks absolutely ugly. Looks like I have a giant corn there now. She said she was sorry. I had to pay for my pedicure still. I was given a gift certificate for $25 to come back again. I ended up tossing it, because frankly, I will never go back to that establishment. Horrible! Horrible! Horrible!!! The pictures show that even after 24 hours, my toe was STILL bleeding! I had to wear a bandaid on this for several weeks. While the first experience I had here was okay, the last 4 have been disappointing. I generally have to wait 20 minutes even if I have an appointment because they take walk-ins regardless of a conflict with a scheduled appointment. I'm particularly angry because the nail technician I had this last time was so rough and rushed that he cut my fingers in about 5 different spots with the nail file. The deepest cut still really hurts and I've been cleaning it like crazy as the technician used nail glue to try to close it (not sanitary!!) Nothing like having a fresh manicure covered up by band aids. I gave this salon a valiant effort but will not be back. read more

I had the pleasure of getting a wonderful manicure and pedicure from Jojo at this business. I went with a friend who had been previously and enjoyed it. Everyone there was warm,friendly,made you feel comfortable and welcome. It may look unassuming from the outside,but this is one of the best manicures/ pedicures I've had. Extremely well done! It's not chipping,(got the gel,but I've had those chip the next day ) most definitely not the case here. Application was superb,environment friendly and relaxing. At the end of my visit,I couldn't find my bank card...it had fallen out of my pocket...and I felt like the biggest idiot on the planet ,the nicest gentleman asked what was wrong, and was kindly helping me. I occasionally come here when my normal place is too busy or because I want to go close to home. I wanted a pedicure that they labeled as $25. I needed to get my gel polish off and even though she was doing my nails, she charged me an additional $5 to remove it. She told me that I might as well get gel put on for $5 instead of charging me 5 to get it off. On top of that, she told me that I needed wax to loosen up my dry skin. I agreed to the additional $5. While scrubbing the dead skin off my feet (yeah it's gross and embarrassing), she kept showing me and saying "you need this. Look." Well, why do you think I'm here? She ended up charging me $40 which doing the math, she charged $5 for removal and $5 for more gel and didn't save me any money....on top of being kind of rude about my dead skin. When I was done she told me I needed to find a different color for my pedicure cause that bottle was out. I chose another color and waited for the guy to be done with his client and able to do my nails. He went to get the color I chose and told me that color was also out. So I chose again. I was bummed by that because I like my toes and fingers to be the same color and the pink I originally chose had nothing close to it. He suggested I use dip nail because my nails are thin but I didn't want to spend that much and told him no. He quickly took Care of my cuticles and painted them. He stood up and asked if I wanted lotion. I told him yes. I don't just get a mani for color but to relax. He handed me the bottle of lotion and let me take a few pumps. Set the bottle down and told his next client that he was ready for her. Yes, he had me lotion my own hands. I paid $25 for him to paint my nails. I was so upset and won't be going back. read more
