This review has been long overdue (last time I went was 10/15/23) but I am looking forward to going back to this salon and getting my French manicure done again by Kim! I've learned how to do gel-x at home so I have some experience doing my own French tips at home. However I prefer acrylics so they last longer! My fingers are naturally crooked so they require different nail shapes and the French tips don't always look perfect. Kim took her time with my nails and pointed out my crooked fingers!! I was so happy that a nail technician finally noticed!! Her precision with the nail tools was amazing. It took about 3hours to get my nails done but they looked spotless! Kim and her friends were really nice to me and the place felt very welcoming from the moment I walked in. It was so hard to find a nail shop that deals with natural nails. I went to 3 nail shops before I found nail perfection. Kim did her thing!! Fixed my thumb nail didn't try to up sell me. I'm rather disappointed. First appointment - Was great. 10/10 no complaints. However for the second appointment - I scheduled an appointment for Saturday at 10 AM over the phone on a Tuesday the week of and was in front of the shop for 10 minutes and was calling multiple times with nobody there or answering. From my point of view it had looked like they were closed and they had forgotten about my appointment which is really disheartening I walked away and came back around the 10:20 minute mark to see that they were open so I thought I try my chances since they were open then. However because the worker was late and rushing, she filed and cut into two of my fingers and rushed the process of painting my nails. This was also upsetting. So I requested a follow up to fix the design and shape for the next day first thing at 10 AM. This same person was late a second time. I can excuse running late once, but running late twice. At that point, you aren't respecting my time OR my money. Really would've like to have another session with them as I really liked the first set of nails I got from them but no. I'm not going to a place that can't even have the audacity to show up on time for their opening hours. read more

I don't typically leave reviews but i went in for a new nail set, super short french tip, i shower her my inspo and it was nothing like. The inspo clearly had a pink base and she wanted to use a clear base and seemed upset when i asked her to use a pink base, they were all painted uneven and very thick nothing to my liking. I was offered to try "dip" instead of straight gel which cost $10 more. It's supposed to be less harmful than gel, so I was told. I don't leave negative reviews, but there's a first for everything I suppose... TLDR; Don't ask for any changes to be made to your nails if you're unhappy with them. They'll refuse to do your next scheduled service! I have been to this nail salon 3x. The first time I visited, a nail tech named Kathy told me it would take 1.5 hours for a new set. I was there for 3 hours. The set wasn't bad, but there was quite a bit of dry powder under the nails, the powder was uneven, the edges were jagged, the pinky nails were shorter than the rest, and the nails were very thin (see photos). While she was doing the set, I requested that she thicken the nails because I was worried about breaking them. She told me they were fine and looked more natural that way. Two days later, I had a broken nail and had to find time in my busy schedule (I work 60+ hours/week and have a toddler) to have it fixed. I asked to speak with the manager, and she told me the owner was on vacation and wouldn't be back for a couple of weeks. I kindly explained to her that the broken nail could have been avoided if she had just made the set thicker like I had asked. I requested a partial refund for my previous service, and after much back and forth, she offered me 50% off my next fill. I went back again for the fill, and she ended up using a different pink powder than what she had originally used (she used a subtly sparkly pink before, and she used a flat pink this time) I didn't notice this until I got home. I didn't do or say anything about it. I had an appointment for a gel pedicure and a fill today. I asked that they do the services at the same time, confirming this request twice on the phone when I scheduled. I was more than halfway through the pedicure when the owner finished her client and came over to talk to me about my nails. At that point, I realized I probably needed a new set because of the differences in pink powder that had been used. I could tell that something was off when I was talking to her. It felt like she wasn't really listening to me. She then told me she didn't have time to do my nails because she had another customer. I asked what was really going on because I had a scheduled appointment, and it didn't make sense that she suddenly didn't have time. She finally said that Kathy told her that I was "difficult" and that she didn't want to do my nails because of this. Never in my life have I been called "difficult". It's a shame that the owner didn't fully investigate the situation and just took Kathy's word for what happened. I hired a caretaker for my son during my appointment that should have taken 2 hours at most, since the services were scheduled at the same time. Now I have to go to a different salon and pay my nanny more money to watch my son longer because of this. My feelings are hurt, my time is wasted, and I've spent more money than I should have had to. read more

I went to this place on a whim. My regular nail tech got Covid and I was desperate. I called and they were able to take me same day! At first glance this place is looks super clean and the staff is decently friendly. I got their "Spa Pedicure" everything was good except and the massage was extremely lacking. The polish looked pretty old and was clumping as she painted. This place is okay if you're desperate like I was but I most likely won't be back. read more

I made an appointment for 2 people for full set acrylics on a weekday night for 6pm and we were lucky to find some parking spots. It's located in a tiny plaza and a bit hidden. We walked in and were not greeted by anyone, some of the techs looked up at us but no "Hi! Welcome!" nothing. So we just awkwardly sat down and hoped they will say something to us.... a girl walked in and immediately they all said hello to her and said they would be with her in a few minutes.... like hello?? Why weren't we greeted the same way? So I got up and I went up to one of the techs and said "Hi we both have an appointment at 6pm today for a full set" and the tech said "yeah yeah I know just have a seat". Like ok then, acknowledgment would've been nice. I showed my tech the style I wanted which were the dried flowers on a clear acrylic nail but they were very limited in the color flowers they had. I wanted light pink/tan/white flowers but they only had bright blue, red, green, orange which were not my colors. She also kept trying to push me to choose one of them but I said no. They didn't have the flowers I wanted, no biggie so I showed her another nail design I wanted. It was a 3-4 color paneled nail design which honestly looked very complicated but I wanted to see if she could do it or not. I'm not sure the name of my tech but she took a good look at the design and said she could do it. I told her I didn't want to be a hassle/too much for her so I opted for a plain basic set with no design and only 1 color but she told me that she could do it. She took her time shaping my nails and made sure all the little details were nice and smooth which I appreciate. I randomly chose 4 colors that would hopefully go together and it turns out they did! I was very pleased with how it came out. It really looked like the example I showed her. I felt bad because this design took 3 hours to do and all the other techs were getting ready to leave but she had to stay to finish my set. She wanted to take a photo of my nails so she put some oil on my hand so that they'd look less dry but she put wayyyyyy too much oil!!! (look at my photos and tell me that's not a lot) Overall, I was satisfied with how my set turned out, it costed me $60. But the service here could improve. read more

Stopped by this shop on my day off and was pleasantly surprised! The salon is beautiful, it seems as if they just remodeled. I came in for a full set and pedicure. I opted for the deluxe pedi since I really wanted that scented Jasmine spa set. That included a scrub, mask, lotion, and bath salt! The color selection is great as well. The prices are reasonable and I will say they work quick and do a good job. It's a cute salon and there's parking in the back. They also have a great selection of nail polish. They changed ownership. They didn't tell me the price of the nails even though asked 3 times, they were just pushing me into the chair. I wanted a regular $35 pedicure but I do t know HOW they up the price to $50. They cut my toes like 3 times and made me bleed, I hope I don't get an infection. The nail are the ugliest nails I had ever had done in my life. They're so thick that my pinky looks like if I have a blueberry on top. What a waste of money and time I could've done it myself but this was my Mother's Day gift. I felt so sad and stressed during the process that I just wanted to leave and cry. By far the worst nail experience I've had in a while. I came in on my birthday, Christmas Eve And requested a pedicure & a gel manicure. She cut me when she was doing my pedicure. The First Lady couldn't get my nails painted even so it's all uneven and lumpy. So the owner i assume offered to paint my nails. Then the owner didn't want to give me a discount but offered a nail design from the same lady who couldn't paint my nails. It's possibly the worst experience that i paid $88 for. WAY TO EXPENSIVE!!! They charge you for EVERY LITTLE THING and they do a rush job ! Explains why there's never anyone in there. VERY disappointing to go in and leave paying over $100 for a mani/pedi . Then top it off I specifically told the lady doing my pedicure that I only wanted normal polish NOT gel and she took it up one herself to do a gel pedicure anyways which I had to pay for and also asked for her to clean up my cuticles which she didn't do either . They had a sheet of prices and different pedicure options and not once asked if I would like to see it . I will NOT be returning here. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED and upset over how much was charged . Mary did an AMAZING job on my nails. I came in with a previous job from a different shop that did "thin" nails- that basically all broke and were filed crooked. Needed a new salon & found this on Yelp, so glad I gave this place a try. This place is affordable and the ladies do a good job on your nails. The first time I came here, they were willing to accommodate my walk in. The older lady helped me and I asked her marble nails but they didn't come out as nice as I wanted but they weren't too bad either. My nails lasted a good two weeks. The second time I came here, I messaged the business via Yelp and I got a response right away asking when I'd like to come in! I was able to get the appointment I wanted with only 2 days notice. I asked for Lynn because almost all the Yelp reviews and pictures are of her amazing work. I was able to experience her talent today! She's so diligent with her technique and I didn't hear her complain once about anything unlike other places. She was a total sweetheart and patient. We went over closing time but I didn't hear her sigh or fuss. The floral design she did on my nails were amazing, I'm so in love with my nails! Can't wait to see her again! read more

Such a big disappointment. I went today for dip powder manicure at 6:30pm. One of the lady asked me to wait. I waited 45 mins before I got attended. And from there the horror and disappointment started. There was a guy who was attending me. Before I sat he didn't even bothered to clean the station(there were nails/dust from previous clients). When I told him he hurriedly wiped with a tissue. Note: I had no paint on it so there was no soak or paint remover needed. I particularly told him to shape my nails square. And god knows what he did!!! He literally ruined almost all of my nail's shape. When I pointed he said I wanted to give natural look!!! I mean really are you out of your mind??? I noticed he simply left with his stuffs after this incident. Looks he was in hurry to go home.. When I complained about the shape to the lady she understood and realized that the guy literally ruined the shape of my nails. She asked me to wait so she can fix it. And there was no way fixing it except chopping it small. It takes long for me to grow my nails and on top of it I have to cut it small to fix. I waited and waited and again no one was there to fix. I literally left the place in anger at 7:45 with ugly looking nails. I just want to ask the owner... is this is the way you treat your customers!!! Tomorrow is my anniversary and your ppl just ruined it. I absolutely love this nail salon! First of all, I made an appointment through Yelp at 10 PM for the next day at 10:30 AM. I wasn't expecting a response until the next morning, if at all, since it was such late notice, but the owner, Nhat, responded almost immediately and we were able to make an appointment at the time I asked. The salon itself might be tricky to find since the sign actually says Bonnie's Nails. Anyway, I couldn't be happier with everything! My nail tech paid a ton of attention to detail, and made sure everything was perfect. Then Lynn came over to help me do the little nail design I wanted on my ring finger. It took about an hour and a half for a gel manicure and the design, but it was perfect. Everyone was also super friendly and always had a smile. It was $35 for the manicure, but I ended up getting a $5 discount. I'm not sure why, but I'm not complaining! When I was paying, Nhat told me that their gel manicure should be good for 10 days, and if it chips before then I can come back and get it fixed for free. Definitely try this place out! I haven't found a nail salon even close to as good as this place in the South Bay. read more

Lynn gets 5 stars for her work. I've seen her twice and her work is great. I would go back just to see her. 3 stars due to the following: The scent of fumes is so strong you can taste it. I should have asked to get the masks the manicurist use. The wait is long. My first appointment was at 4.45 pm. I wasn't seen till 5.05 pm. My second appointment was at 5 pm, I wasn't seen till 5.20 pm. When I came in yesterday, I arrived at 4.45 pm. No one was at the front desk but the lady on the pedicure chair got up from her seat. She didn't stand up she just readjusted herself. She had her flip flops on the floor. I had to walk over to tell her I have an appointment to see Lynn. I sat down and during my wait, I wasn't given the nail polish wheel to choose my next color. No one acknowledge me. Lynn finally saw me and as she buffed my nails I got to choose my color. As Lynn worked on my nails, a coworker of hers sat to the open chair and had a conversation with her. Lynn was focusing on my nails. Her coworker propped her feet on the trash can without her shoes. She then proceeded to close her eyes to sleep. Customer service is lacking here and can turn people away. Open the door or window to let the fumes out. read more

My friend and I just visited Nail Perfection after viewing their Yelp photos. Everything seemed promising, but their work really lived up to the name -- PERFECTION! We both got a mani/pedi. Our pedicures were pretty typical, but we both just got the basic. For my manicure, I wanted something different, so I went with white and wanted to accent a couple of nails with glitter ombré and nail tape. Another technician did my pedicure and started my manicure. When she put on the glitter on my accent finger, I realized I really didn't like the design. I felt bad telling her, because she clearly seemed upset, but she repainted my nail for me. I then decided I would prefer the nail tape design for all my nails instead. At this point, this technician introduced me to Julie! Julie was going to finish my nails for me. She did SUCH a fantastic job! She has great attention to detail and takes her time to do your nails how YOU want them! She even told me that if anything goes wrong with my nails, I could come back to her and she would fix it for me. I loved that confidence and dedication to her work.
