I came in to get a mani/pedi while my I waited for my mom to get her hair done in the salon next door. I luckily came in and they got started right away, but many other ladies came in after me and were waiting for quite some time. Seems they need to have more manicurists working (there were only two and this was a Saturday afternoon). For $29 before tip, I wouldn't come back again. Nail Spa advertized a $16 pedi so I walked in last Saturday, August 16th. Amy did my pedi and she did a great job. I have a difficult ingrown toenail and she took care of that with obvious experience. It is a relief to find someone who knows how to cut the nail correctly when it is ingrown. Amy did such a good job that I let her upsell me to a manicure as well. I paid $44 for a pedi with flowers and a callous scrub as well as a gel manicure. I think it was a good price and good service. My friend and I walked in for pedicures, and we sat down to wait for spa chairs to open up. We waited about 20 minutes, then another customer walked in and after about 5 minutes a chair opened up and they seated her before either of us. We wondered why she would be seated before us since we'd been waiting much longer, but they said she was going to get a manicure (didn't know why that was relevant, but I didn't want to make a big deal out of it). After a long conversation (catching up with my friend) we realized that over an hour had gone by. At that point I felt like just leaving and coming back another day, but my friend convinced me that they'd have to take us soon, so we waited. Finally after at least an hour and a half, I couldn't rationalise a reason for staying so we got up to leave and to my surprise the lady working at the front desk said nothing, not even "goodbye". Now this isn't my first time at this nail salon, I've been here a handful of times before and had pretty good experiences. However this IS the first time I'd ever come with a black friend and I can't see how this didn't play a part in us not being treated like customers. I hate to jump to assumptions, and I normally give establishments the benefit of the doubt but I really don't think I can in this case. After getting disappointed with Jojos nails salon i kinda wasn't in the mood to spoil myself but i figure let try one more place. Everything was closing less then 57 mins but this place was open till 7:30pm! Once i had walked in i was greeted & was seated almost immediately! The women here are very kind & sweet! The lady that i ended up getting was sweet! She told me about their deals & help me pick out some colors. I enjoyed the extra help that she provided & being sweet to me! Just had a terrible experience at this Nail Spa located at 1161 E. Alosta in Azusa. The two nail techs I got were extremely rude, they both lacked customer skills, and if you pick a regular mani/pedi they won't be happy! The tech who did my manicure took 15 min tops, the pedicure probably 2 min longer, it felt like they were both rushing to finish up. I usually like to go to a nail salon because I enjoy the experience of being pampered, here it was a torture!, when it came to the cuticles she was very rough and when cutting them, she hurt me, that's how fast and rough they both were. Another thing it bothers me is the lack of respect for their customers, if you tell them you just want a regular manicure they start talking in their own language and you have no clue what they're saying. They are a bit pricey. My total was $55 with a three dollar tip to each girl. I got a mani/pedi scrub and callous removed. The gel manicurist was ok but my pedicure was amazing I have ugly feet and after today I don't mind wearing sandals. I'll give them another try. They are open at 9:30 am until 7 pm on weekdays. I have been getting my nails done here for 13 years. Tammy always does my nails (and eyebrows!) and sometimes I let her pick whichever color she wants for me because I can't decide. This time she did white gel with "unicorn powder" and they look SO PRETTY. I've never gotten so many compliments on a color before. People are always asking where I get my nails done. I hate to even put one star but yelp makes you so its really NO STARS. So, I was sitting there getting full set.. and state board walks in!!! Starts opening up jets in the pedicure chairs... They started going through there drawers and they found stacks of old USED files. They asked if they had an "auto clave " APPARENTLY there supposed to be sterilizing EVERYTHING . Waiting too long! One star for having a clean place but thats about the end of my experience. I went in there and even though there were people free to offer service, no one bothered with me for the first 5 minutes. After finally asking what I wanted, I wait for another 10 mins before I get seated in one of the chairs. Basically they just transferred me from one chair in the waiting area to another. Then another 15-20 minutes before I decided that the waiting time wasn't going to cut it. After noticing that I was getting impatient, the cosmetologists started talking amongst themselves in their native language just to fill the air. And no one bothered to update me on how long before I can avail of their services or to have the courtesy to say that the wait time is longer than 15 minutes. read more

Let me start off by saying i came before the remodel and they did an amazing job, Now totally remodeled and looking very high end. I will not stop coming to Tammy her shaping and filing on the nails is remarkable and always so perfect and for pedicures all of the ladies get down i have yet to have problems Love all you hard working ladies. and might i add don't forget to tip these ladies after all they are getting inbetween ur feet, they more then deserve it!!!! read more

I've only been once but I went in the afternoon right after lunchtime thinking it wouldn't be busy I got there and there was one person ahead of me. I ended up there till almost 4pm. They had appointments that ran so late that it wasn't even funny when they stopped helping one customer to help there appointment who was about 30 min late to my understanding and the nails didn't even last me through to get a fill. I've been to places where my nails have lasting 2 week before needing a fill and 3-4 weeks before needed before having to get them redone. This place is to expensive for there poor service. read more

Was getting SNS/ANC (dip powder) removed to get gel. I asked for her to soak the powder off, which is what most salons do, so she did so for one hand but manually peeled the SNS off the other hand and broke two nails down to the flesh, leaving my two nails bleeding and raw. Mediocre service and incredibly unprofessional. I came in requesting a regular pedicure. During the pedicure, the woman assisting me began asking if I wanted the deluxe pedicure. I told her no and informed her that I wanted only the regular pedicure. She responded by saying the deluxe was better. I repeated that I only wanted the regular and she said okay. I later again repeated I only wanted the regular, which she responding by nodding in agreement. Then when it came time to pay, I was told the fee was $26. This was a complete surprise because the wall sign says the regular pedicure is $20 and the deluxe pedicure is $35. There is no pedicure listed for $26. I voiced my concerns and the woman assisting me became argumentative. She had no real response to the fact that there is no $26 pedicure service listed and instead tried to argue the extra $6 was for callus removal, which I never agreed to. The attitude and intentionally misleading behavior of the staff was incredibly disappointing. I would recommend not going here. read more

If you would like to pay $30 for shitty nails then this is the place for you! I came in for acrylics just to have my entire right hand nails have a slant and be completely uneven. On top of that they are very aggressive while doing your nails and you will be left with tons of glue on your fingers so anticipate spending the next 30 minutes after getting your nails done by peeling the glue off of your fingers. If you pay attention you will see they reused the towel for next customer from customer have manicure service to customer have pedicure. The waxing bed not change the cover seat for each customer.
