I got gel x with a cat eye. The lady did not know how to do a proper cat eye and had others coming over to help her. She drilled down too far on my nail multiple times. She didn't know how to properly shape my nails or even paint them nearly. The next day my nail was already peeling/flaking. When I told them they refused to give me a refund and said they would redo my nails. I came in and got them redone. Less than 2 weeks later my nail popped off while I was picking up a sandwich at the grocery store. The rest of the nails on that hand are basically lifting off my actual nail. This is gel x. It should last 3-4 weeks usually and I have never had a nail just pop off. I don't want a new set as my nails are already weak from redoing the last set. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Went in for a pedi and a french nail design (design ONLY) as my nails were already done but too boring so wanted them to add just the white part of the french. Manager in the front says $10 for french design & whatever for pedi. Lady for nails had MAJOR attitude not even a hello like ok & then instantly started talking to her coworker which so what we all do & then 2 seconds later she tells me she told you the wrong price but I'll do it anyway. Ok???? Thanks??? I kid you not it took her less than 5 mins. & it was average french design. Now to the good stuff. I tell the lady doing my toes that I have a small ingrown on one of my big toes. As she's cutting into I instantly felt the pain & that she was cutting too much! MAJOR SIDE NOTE - I have been getting pedicures EVERY TWO WEEKS for the past 20 YEARS! I know how much they typically cut & its so seamless I don't even feel it. So I instantly knew this was bad. I literally sat forward in my chair & put my hand up as a stop motion & said please stop you cut too much & she proceeded to yank out what she cut & surprise surprise my toe instantly started to bleed. UGH so annoyed just writing this SMH. So she starts apologizing & putting whatever alcohol solution & trying to clean it but my toe won't stop bleeding. She wants to proceed with the pedicure & I told her absolutely not & to please get her manager. The manager was "busy" eating lunch which I totally get people need to eat. But if you have an injured customer & there is no one else that can cover for you, I don't know maybe tend to the customer before going back to your lunch???? This is where the gaslighting starts. After 5 minutes.... I go to the manager & she apologizes & said the lady didn't do it on purpose which UM I should hope not??? I told her the issue is I tried stopping her but she didn't listen & did her own thing anyway. Then she said "well you told her that you had an ingrown". That really upset me like OK AND? How does that justify getting cut & having my toe bleed so much??? She asked if the lady can finish my toes & it would be on the house but absolutely not. Why would I risk my other toes getting cut. I left with no pedicure & a deep cut. I went home despite having a lot of other errands so I could properly clean and bandage the area in hopes that it does not get infected. I asked for gel x nada pedi. I love that they are able to accommodate . However the service was not well done. I have chunk of extend gel under my nails , my cuticles are flooded and nicked from the nail tech (Jenny) going over and over it trying to remove excess gel. There are huge mail bubbles and I was tired of sitting there for long so I just paid l. My feet are sore I was nicked and cut over and over I can't walk properly as my big toe rubs against my sock and my side wall is all bloody. It was expensive to be hurt over and over $120 for mani gel x and pedi. I wish there was more patience when doing my nails. They are great employees to talk to but when the job isn't well done because they keep talking to each other in their native language and ignoring your requests it's hard to work with. read more

It's ridiculous that asking questions leads to sarcasm, being laughed at, pointed at, and people make you feel like you're a burden for being there. Worst nail salon experience I've ever had in my life. I would give it 0 star if I could. This was the first time I visited this salon, and definitely will be last. I decided to come here only to remove my Gel X nails and get a pedicure. I will say the woman who did my pedicure was wonderful and very kind and did a great job. However, the excuse of a professional that was removing my nails was an absolute nightmare. To start, she began ripping my nails off with a cuticle clipper. Using full force. Inflicting pain. I kindly told her I would like to soak the nails off instead and that this hurts and that I would not like her to do this. She tried to argue with me saying that her method was better but I still insisted. She had ripped off two nails already and reached the third nail. I stopped her for a moment to tell her to be extra careful with this third nail, because it was injured a few months ago and the entire nail bed ripped off. I told her that it is now finally healing and growing and that I don't want any extra damage done to it. She mumbled okay, and as I was finishing my sentence she took the god damn pliers and tried ripping it off. The nail immediately started bleeding because she ripped my nail bed open again. I was so upset and almost passed out from the pain. She showed absolutely no remorse or regret. I asked her why she would do that after I specifically asked her not to use that tool and to be extra careful here and she gave me no answer and instead began DUMPING acetone on the nail. Since she brutally ripped my nail bed, the acetone of course began profusely burning me. Once again, zero sign of remorse. I decided to spare you all the trauma of having to see the bloody nail but once I got the bleeding to stop this is what it looks like (look at the picture). There is a hole that she ripped in the middle of my nail. It is going to take months for my nail to recover from this monster of a woman and the trauma she handed me. I do not recommend this place to anybody. But they do okay pedicures, my feet are quite soft. read more

I had an open mind. But trust your gut feeling. Things turned for the worse when I politely asked what the process was for "dip powder" removal. They said it was the same as the gel removal. They charged me for dip removal but didn't remove the dip. When I asked for them to break down the bill, they said my starting basic full set was $47! They did do their best to cover the dip but I'm overall unhappy with the quality for the pricing. They were frustrated at me towards the end of the visit. They were also laughing at the girl next to me who had changed her mind on her color. They also cut me twice, I didn't understand the rush because there was only one person there when I got there. The guy doing the nails was polite and really did want to give me what I asked for, it was just too late after not removing the dip all the way. Pros: They fit me and my friend in right away with no waiting, they were extremely friendly here, they let me pay venmo. They recently remodeled and the place looks fantastic. Nails done by Cindy and Sun. Everyone spoke good English, which you don't get at some nail salons. Cons: My pedicure did cost $17 more than the place I used to go, which included the exact same things. (But I'd rather pay a little more and have a place that fits me in right away.) The main con is although they are nice here and the salon is really pretty, my nails lifted and popped off after only 1 week. My nails lasted a month where I used to go. And 2 weeks is standard. But my nails popping off after 1 week just isn't worth the money. I may have to look for a new place :( read more

Updated review. I got these done on a Saturday and went back Monday because one of the nails broke less than 24 hours later. They are quite thin, more than any other acrylic service I have received and I've been getting my nails done for years. The older lady that fixed my ONE PINKY nail charged me 5 dollars. I paid. But she was upset I did not tip. Probably will not be going back, I have another broken nail because of how thin they are, I'm not going to pay 5 dollars every time to fix them when I spent almost $100 when I first came in. read more

It had been a while since I got a manicure/pedicure and I wanted to feel all pretty and beautiful and get my nails done because I'm just a nail polish kinda girl so what's a girl to do? Call up her friends and invite them along too. I had spent the day hiking so I took my tired, sweaty self to the nail salon. This was my first time here but I was impressed by how clean everything is. I love the massage chairs and the little tub at the bottom for my feet. I could just sit there all day or get one installed in my house. This place also attracts a lot of men for mani/pedi's. That was a bit of a surprise. I had two girls attending to me and my friends were on either side of me. It's fun to take me to a nail salon. It's a guaranteed riot. Why? Because I can't relax. I'm just too tense for these types of things. Other people lay back and let the girls work away on them and I get up tight and ticklish and I watch everything they do. The lady working on my feet actually cut me because she was working so fast so I was a little miffed about that and when she started working on my calluses I couldn't stop laughing and the lady working on my hands had to stop because she couldn't focus. I think she got a little annoyed. Oh well. Before they did anything else, they asked me for payment. I was a little shocked that I had to pay right there at my seat. I wasn't even done and they had to adjust my bill twice to add tip and the little designs I wanted. That could have all been avoided had they let me pay at the end. And then when they noticed my tip (thank God, I'm a generous tipper) the service suddenly got upped a notch. What if I hadn't tipped? I wonder what service would be like then. I dare not try it. Another thing that always bothers me about these places, other than the fact that I can never relax, is the constant banter back and forth in their native language. I know it's common at most nail salons but their accents are so thick I don't even know when they stop to ask me a question and then I often can't understand what they're asking for. *sigh* The lady working on my friend's feet actually stopped at one point to take a personal call. It didn't last long but she shouldn't have even taken the call or had the cell phone with her. Regardless, I'll probably be back. I did like the service and the shop is clean. My nails look great and that's all I ask for. They might need to work a little more on the customer service. read more

But the ladies were pushy and you know that feeling when someone is talking about you when you refuse to get the higher price stuff? So uncomfortable. Nail packages were $20 above all the other nail salons I've been to and while it is a beautiful business I would expect the services to hold well. My nail technician went over the nail bed with gel coats, making it easy to peel off. After spending $115 for a Mani and Pedi I would expect superior quality and focus.
