He has great customer service,he's a perfectionist, make sure you're satisfied with your nails, you will not leave disappointed. I gave the rating a four star because, I really wanted the gel polish over my acrylic but it was $20.00 more, which the total would have been $50.00. I thought that was too high for gel polish. I would not recommend this salon, and I do not intend to go back. I had a decent pedicure here so went back for a gel mani. Well, my nails are uneven, and some are shaped slightly different. The polish smudges after i left the salon, and since it was applied so far from the cuticle, at 4 days, the mani looks like it has 2 weeks growth. RIP OFF!! BEWARE "LYNN" the older lady with the glasses is terribly slow, talks a lot in her foreign language and doesn't pay attention to what she's doing, she will also OVER CHARGE YOU and deny that she is until you o the numbers yourself!!! First thing that happened was I saw Lynn writing down the cost of my pedicure and manicure because my friend was treating me and I noticed some extra pricing added to the services. Extra $3 for a Matte Coat, Exta $5 to remove polish (all this was not disclosed before performing the service). My normal salon I go to is BEE Nails in wahiawa and they never ever disappoint or over charge you/the don't try to wheel and deal with you throwing out different numbers and crossing out prices. But this salon sure does!! Not to mention she will up sell you into getting the deluxe pedicure because it's a longer massage. But her massage skills really lack and she's more so rubbing you and you feel only latex from her gloves. I left the salon with only my pedicure costing $75 and my friend paying for a gel manicure and deluxe pedicure for the same price as me doing my feet. I was going to do my nails but mid way though the polish removal I changed my mind because I saw her trying to overcharge my friend. I rated this place a 2 because of the service and over charge for plain nails. I went in three weeks ago waited for a hour and a half. I was before 3 walk ins and they were all called before me. I looked at the sign in sheet to make sure they had appts and they didn't, they were getting full sets and were walk ins as well as I. I told the lady I have been waiting for an hour and a half and all the other walk ins already got called. she said, "They thought I was already called on to wait just a little longer and someone will be with me." I finally got called, I ended up getting a guy and he was a little rough with my nails. He was really nice and we talked about how he's been there for 8 years etc. Then when he was shaping my nails it was all slanted on one side and I asked him if he could fix it. he said " I don't see anything wrong with it." so I was irritated at this point. At the end of it I payed 58.00 for nails that I wasn't happy with. Four days ago I went in again thought I would give it another try and get fills it was really slow and I got someone new, she was nice also. I asked her if she could shape my nails more to make them even and fix the nail that was totally slanted because the guy I went to didn't see anything wrong with it she laughed and said there all uneven. She told me to fix each nail would be 3 dollars per nail and to shape them would be 4 dollars per nail. So I decided to just fix the one nail that was really slanted. She charged me 50.00 for fills. My nails are still uneven, slanted and super thin I feel like I'm going to break them very soon. So I've learned my lesson I will not be going to this place ever again. read more

I recently went to Nail Tek for a pedicure date with some of my friends. It wasn't crowded for a Saturday afternoon so they were able to accommodate us after a few minutes of walking in. The lady doing my nails didn't say much to me at all, but she did frequently talk to the nail technicians beside her in another language. She was a little rough with my feet during the pedicure, but when it came time for my massage, it was like she didn't even put any effort into it. Okay so first time coming to this one because the place I usually go to had a long ass wait and this place didn't. The place does need a makeover. Everyone had a customer so no one really talked to me other than the usual hi please sign in and it'll be just few minutes. But I'm willing to overlook that because the guy that did my pedicure was awesome. He was firm and gentle at the same time. I'm just disappointed I didn't get his name !! My daughter went here last week Friday, 4/10 to get her nails done for the prom. She had a French manicure done. When she got home she showed me her nails and the underneath was not even sanded down and cleaned. I had to call them back to complain then they said to come back and they will fix it. My daughter said they were in a rush to get her out cause there was others waiting to get their nails done as well. I've just moved here & needed a pedi ASAP. I called asking their closing hours and was told 6:30pm. It was almost 5:40pm and said it was fine coming in. I walked in and greeted what services I want. I asked how much a pedi w/ white tips was and told it was $25. I was like great! So I'm waiting and noticed it was super hot!!! It was very uncomfortable! The lady that helped me was very nice. She took her time but when she was done w/ my pedi and needed to dry, I felt rushed because I was the last person & asked me to pay bc they were closing their register and was told I owe $34 for a pedi! THIS EXPERIENCE ALL HAPPENED IN A MATTER OF 5-10 MINUTES. THIS REVIEW IS FOR MILLIE (not sure if spelling is correct) Here's my story. Today was the Mililani parade that started from the Town Center ending at this shopping center. We find parking right in front of the nail salon. My sister and I figure hey why not go get our nails done while we wait for the parade to make its way to our side. So we walked in just shortly after 9 am when they first opened with my sister and boyfriend as a tag along. As soon as we get inside I see only 1 person and we are just standing inside the shop waiting to get greeted. The lady yells at us "sign in" so we signed our names on the clipboard and at the same time we noticed 3 more people walking in, who I see are nail techs running late for their job. Anyway...My sister ending up wanting a pedicure and I wanted acrylic set. My nail technician seemed so frazzled from just walking in and she drops her bag down and tells me to go sit in a chair. Didn't introduce or greet me at all. So I am sitting across of her and I first apologize that my hands sweat. I have a condition of hyperhidrosis so I wanted to be courteous and inform her of that before she started. She grabbed my hands and looked at them, then gave me a look of disgust. And not to mention I have really short nails. Nails below the skin (I know it's gross, and I'm feeling self-conscious already, she was not making the situation any better) So this is what happened after that: Nail tech: what you like?! Me: I'd like acrylic nails, please. Because of the job that I have, can I have it on the shorter side? I don't want it long. Right at the tips of my fingers are fine. Nail tech: You don't want long nail?! Long nail better. Me: No, just up to the tips of my fingers. *nail tech is puzzled and she begins to buff my nails and then take out a fake nail and measures it on my finger. Nail tech: So you want long like this?! Me: No, shorter. JUST AT THE TIPS OF MY FINGER. And how much will this be?? (Testing her, I already looked at the prices beforehand. Their chart says $25 for acrylics set Nail tech: Gonna be $35!! Me: I thought it was $25?? Nail tech: No. I give you better kind of nail. Stay on longer. Me: No thank you. I just want an acrylic set. Nothing fancier. *nail tech gives me a dirty look. She then takes out a huge hooked shaped nail file and begins to dig underneath my real nails. Which like I said before are super short and BTW. SHE WAS GETTING REALLY ROUGH BY THIS TIME. I have never gone to any other place where they had to do that. Me: *Ouch!! I told her and I pulled my hand back. Nail tech: YOUR FINGER NAIL SO DIRTY!! Me: Um... yes but that hurt. **(who says these kinds of things?!) Nail tech: *doesn't apologize and then asked me AGAIN (and now in an extremely irritable tone) So what you don't understand, why don't you want long nail for?! THAT IS IT!! I GOT OUT OF MY CHAIR AND WALKED RIGHT OUT!! My sister had started to get her feet done and this point, and my boyfriend who was waiting for us in the chairs by the entrance, stood up and followed me. I stormed off outside to smoke a cigarette. Telling my boyfriend everything that happened, another nail tech (short hair) came out and asked what happened. I told her briefly that my nail tech didn't understand what I was trying to tell her, I told her what I wanted and she refuses to do so, and she hurt me and (SIMULTANEOUSLY MY NAIL TECH LADY CAME OUTSIDE TO LISTEN TO THE CONVERSATION AT THIS POINT) and I pointed to her and said "You were extremely rude and I do not get an apology or anything?!" *SHE THEN LEANED ON THE FRONT DOOR, LOOKED AT ME UP AND DOWN AND SHRUGGED HER SHOULDERS. REALLY B@TCH?!?! WTF?! She then walked back inside. The other nail tech that was outside with us (I'm guessing is the boss) SMILED at me and said sorry. She then asked me if she could take a look at my nails. This lady did not even know what was even going on and did not even showed empathy. All she wanted was my money. Why the F*** would I want to go back in there to you guys?! My sister texted me and asked what happened while she was getting her pedicure. Apparently, she got the nice nail tech lady. My sister got the name my nail tech and said that her name is Millie (Not sure if I'm spelling that right) I have NEVER been to a nail salon with such bad customer service. I can't believe what just happened. I honestly hope that the people who do go here on the regular, never get treated or experience what I had to go through. Don't give them your money. I walked in just to remove my acrylic gel nails. All the workers looked at me when I walked in like they were surprised to have a customer. No greeting, the lady just said, "what you need?" Even though there was only two people in there, they made me sign a sheet...FOR NOTHING. I waited for 2 seconds. Weird. When the worker removed my nails he peeled them off but did even cut my natural nails straight or buff them to look clean. I walked-in with my friend to get a manicure and they took us right away. They weren't as busy as I thought they would be on a Saturday, but I wasn't complaining. However, I should have looked at the reviews before going! FYI, they have three pages on Yelp so read all of them. Anyways, I had a guy doing my nails. He didn't introduce himself so I couldn't get his name. He did a great job with giving me the shape I wanted with my nails and he took his time doing it. But, that's probably the only thing I liked out of this $55 manicure!! I asked for a mint nail polish..but how does a nail salon NOT have that color! It's so common and you see that color everywhere! He recommended this greenish nail color far beyond of what I wanted and he kind of just chose it for me. After he painted my pinky, he said oh that's just the first layer. And of course, by the second later it was NOT what I wanted. I also wanted a design where you literally just make lines. And he had to ask his coworkers how to do. Another guy ended up doing it, and it looks so FUGLY! Like how do you not know how to make straight lines as a nail technician?! I even gave him a picture as reference but he couldn't get it right. Back to the green color, I hated it so much I went Long's to get a black nail polish and painted once I got home. Yes, I know I should have told him to redo it, so partially it is my fault for not speaking up. But it's just appalling to hear that they don't have that nice Tiffany blue color! I put my name on the list, walked around for 10 minutes and went back to find another customer being seated for a pedicure. I waited another 15 minutes and the woman who gave me the original 20 minute estimate then came over to seat another customer who apparently had a manicure appointment. I asked how long now? They couldn't tell me. Really? You do manis and pedis all day and have no ability to guess this? Also, what's the point of the list of not sort of a queue or immediate appointment listing for walk ins? Decided to do a spur of the moment pedicure for four us. It was 6:00 and Nail Tek didn't close till 7:00. We were the only customers. The nail technicians had no personality and only spoke Vietnamese amongst themselves. The work was average but talk about get you in and get you out. We were done in 20 minutes. The other workers were literally grabbing the towels under our feet and throwing them in the dirty laundry basket. They definitely aren't looking for regular customers. At Nail Tek Lynn did my nails and I was not impressed. I can't speak for the others. Lynn smudged my nail polish on my toes as she went to put my skippers on. I brought it to her attention and she seemed a bit annoyed. Instead of taking it off she went and put more nail polish on the smudge. It bubbled and had to bring to get attention. She did not massage me, nor take her time. I think this will be my last time here. Have not been able to find a good place in Mililani. I guest it's worth driving to Miracle nails on king street. I went here for a gel manicure. They are so cheap, they used a .99 cent nail polish that you can find at longs on my nails & just covered it in glitter nail polish which was also a .99 cent bottle of polish (I asked for blue tips w/ fading glitter). Afterwards they used a clear gel nail polish to cover it up as a "gel manicure". Later on that day when I got home I realized that my nail polish was cracking, so I called them & told them about it, and requested if they could just remove the nails for free & they refused to do so, they said that they would fix it for free. So I went back the next day & the nail technician just buffed off the parts of the nail polish instead of starting over & when he was done you could see where it was cracked/damaged. I will never go back to this nail salon ever again. read more

CHECK FOR DOUBLE CHARGES!! 0/5 stars. I was in the area and decided to try this salon out since I used to go to the town center location a lot. Not only was my acrylic set mediocre with uneven nails but they DOUBLE CHARGED me. I had seen that a charge for my set had gone through but on top of that I also noticed a second charge for the same amount had deducted from my account and showed pending. I went back to the shop to show them that they had charged me twice and a guy there told me that it was just "pending" and that it wasn't a real charge and that it was only pending for now. I asked him why money was taken from my account if it wasn't a "real charge" and he told me that since it's "pending" it'll go away and I'll get the money back and that if the charge fully goes though (which it clearly already had) then to come back for a refund. Sure enough, the second transaction completed and they ended up having to give me a refund for the second charge that was supposed to "just go away". If I hadn't checked my account I probably wouldn't have noticed the second charge so if you decide to go, be aware of what they charge you!! read more

I walked in and signed the sheet at 11:15am. It is now 12:30pm and I still haven't been seen. I am thoroughly disgusted with the stereotypical gossip and banter in the native language of the techs as well as turned off by how they operate. I find it unprofessional and extremely rude. I have not been greeted nor spoken to, to be reassured of service or just given basic customer service. I have a Halloween mishap and that is THE ONLY REASON I am here. This two-bit shabby hut of anti-aloha will never receive my business again. It's time us consumers start standing up for how we spend our hard earned money. This would be my first and last here to get my pedi done. The worst customer service I've ever experienced. There is no welcoming environment, the staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful at all. I asked the lady if they remove dry skin and ingrown on toenails and she said yes they can but the lady who did mine was seemed not sure for what she was doing, she just told me she'll try which she never did. I was very upset and dissatisfied on their service and looks like there is no customer service at all. They were very rude and unprofessional in so many levels. I fully regret for coming here, wasted my money and time. I will definitely not reccommend this salon to anyone. Please don't waste your precious time and hard earned money in here. This is my favorite spot for manicure and pedicure and Massage. I have two favorite person: One is Tiffany she is the best, very patient sweet and doing great job ever time. She also do really good facial. I love her. I go here about every 6-8 weeks for a pedicure. This place is either a hit or miss. It all depends on who you get. Some of them would rather spend time on their phone instead of paying attention to you or rushing to finish you so they can get on their phone while others tend to give you the more quality attention. I find that most of the time it is the males who dont give you the quality although I have had a couple of the females do the same. It depends on who you get. If you find a good tech, remember them for the next time. They dont have name tags and sometimes its hard to even understand them when you ask for names. Today the male tech gave me a deluxe pedi by piling on scrub, lotion on top and short quick massage. Wiped that off and then put mint gel on my legs and left it on then painted my nails(not very well). Then after painting he then wiped my legs(not thoroughly because they still felt sticky afterwards). I have had many Pedi's here and this is the first time I've had it done this way.
