As a result of my experience, I set an appointment for a fill/shape/polish change which I originally had done at a different shop. The male nail tech who worked on my claws did an excellent job pretty much fixing what was mediocre at best quality from said, other shop. Although my service took nearly 2 hours to correct, the tech who performed the service was incredibly attentive and clearly had my best interest at heart by correcting crappy work which wasn't his, in addition to honoring the price for a standard gel fill, when he could have very easily (and understandably) up charged me for. By the way, over a month and not a single chip or loose nail. Pricing is also very fair considering today's inflation rates. Establishment is clean, newer feeling with great lighting. I have finally found my go-to nail shop! Bonus is, it's conveniently located within the same plaza as Waipio Costco, making my Costco run days extra efficient. read more

One of my customers had referred me to this location. I'm not someone who frequently gets my hands and feet done but because I did so on vacation when I came home, I had to maintain it. I decided to give this place a try. Immediately walking in to TNT nails I noticed that there is no deities. No cats or objects of worship. And I greatly appreciated that. On my second visit is when I noticed the Cross above. I immediately felt like I was at the right place. Praise The Lord and Thank You Jesus for leading me here. Made an appointment for manicure which was easy. Once we got there, they were rude and seemed as if they did not want to help us. I asked if she could do a simple nail design (wavy lines) and she was hesitant to say yes so I asked one more time to confirm and she said yes. She tried to do the design but took it off 12 times + and I ended up saying I didn't need the design anymore, it was on a nude color so by the end of my appointment it looked like I had just gotten clear coat nail polish. I love to do new designs and D has never told me No. besides that she makes sure all the polish and activators are cleaned off around the finger tips. Although they will dry than peel off, that could cause it to have an area where it will lift in the future. I don't have to worry about that with D. I recently moved and am so happy I found this place! The parking is a little hard to come by, but you can park across the street and walk over. I got a gel manicure and my mom got a pedicure. Made an appointment and they took me right away. I wanted a gel polish pedicure color change and a gel polish acrylic fill. Pedicure was fine, however the manicure turned out like this. The acrylic was applied to my natural nail and I had a long almond nails prior to this fill. They were not shaped, cleaned, not the same length, not even, crooked, and polish was bumpy and not evenly distributed. Most of my nails have light spots even after multiple coats and had multiple air bubbles. I would have asked her to fix it however I was already there for 2.5 hours. I've gotten the same thing in other locations and it took 1-1.5 hours tops and cost me around 55-60 euros. The pedicure and manicure cost me $103. This was not worth the time or the money at all. This was a treat from my mom for Christmas. I kept telling her no, but all she wanted to do was spend the little money she had left to treat me before going back to work. Now I have to get them redone and pay more. I used to come here all the time and I would always recommend this spot to everyone but I will no longer come here or recommend this location. I'm so disappointed. I can't believe this simple nail design cost over $100. read more

I tend to jump around and try different nail places so when my friend recommended T&T I thought I'd try it out. I made an appointment at 11, but they didn't seem to take that into consideration. I got seated around 11:30/11:40, which at the time seemed inconvenient because I needed to be somewhere afterwards. I had Cam as my technician and she actually did a great job! I asked if there was an extra charge for the coffin shape and she admitted that it was an additional $5 but she wouldn't charge me for it (how nice!). She made sure to finish within an hour so I could make it out of there on time, so it all worked out. If I don't have anywhere to go afterwards, I would definitely see Cam again! read more

I must say that it really depends on who you have that will make or break your experience here. I've come and had a terrible nail technician and came back and had a great technician. Here's my low down on who's my go-to: Than (like Thank you) is good for gel manicure and is pretty good with designs. She'll tell you straight up if she's comfortable in doing it or not. I'm not a fancy design girl, I get it plain and simple, so she's perfect for me!! Her pedicures are great. She gives a pretty nice massage, cleans my toes perfectly, and she paints nicely. No ugly toes!! If Than is not available for my mani I'll see Vicki. Her work is also very nice and clean. Note: If you're used to Japanese thick application of 5-6 coats, this will be different. They coat your nails 4 times, so it's a little thinner. But, with these two girls, they'll last 3-4 weeks before I need to get my nails done again. I havent experienced any of my nails lifting. I also wash my hands a lot and use lotions all the time. Jenny, the owner's daughter is my husbands go-to. He gets pedicures done and she really does a great job with the massage and making his feet feel soft. The wait can get crazy if you walk in. I've learned to call in and make an appointment. With an appointment the longest I've waited was 15 mins, which is okay, cause I'll sit in the seat and relax. The reason why I've also had to wait with an appointment was because the appointment before me arrived really late. So... please don't be late for your appointment either... You may make someone mad that they're waiting and it's not even your tech's fault! Just saying... The place is clean and doesn't have the strong nail shop odor. We enjoy coming here. I'm gonna say it, COMPLETE CRAP! No, I don't normally use bad words but this place is exactly that! Get in on a Saturday at about 1120am. It seems really crowded but they were able to talk myself, daughter, and a friend right away. They ask us to pick a color and direct us to the technicians that will be doing our service. My request, a fill and paint. Please tell me why the hell this girl took of my nail?! I do my nails every two weeks faithfully and there was no reason for her to take of my damn nails! I'm not a happy camper, and don't appreciate people that don't listen. My sign in even straight up says my request. This chic rushes like heck through my paint. I have paint everywhere, even on my skin. See picture posted. My nails are down and stubby, which I said I didn't want them cut! I could of had my 4 year old daughter do this junk I am supposed to be paying for. No joke she finished fingers and toes in under 30 minutes. Half A$$ is all I can say. Also, when you paint someone's toes, they don't want to sit on the manicure chair and stretch their legs out to you. Stick them on the pedicure/massage chair. They have two TV's, BOTH playing football games. Now, I love sports and particularly football. However, this is a women's time away from the normal sports time with their man. My daughters nails, she isn't pleased in the least either. The charges was more than a mani pedi which included paint?! We normally have 5 of us come together and do out nails. This is my first time checking in, but have been here a number of times, always left satisfied. Only this time, it was quite disappointing... The lady that did my nails immediately asked if I wanted to a pedi, I said no thanks, just a mani today. She looked at my eyebrows and said, you need waxing, I do that for you. I said again, just a mani thank you. From that point, she worked so roughly on my nails, and kept on pulling my arms as if she was upset with me. I was way too intimidated to ask her name, she also had runny nose to make it worst. It's unbelievable, never thought anyone can do a french mani, using gel polish in 20 minutes, that's how quickly she worked on me. I still gave her a tip, it's not my nature not to give anything, although I regret once I inspected my nails in the car. I was a total grouch afterwards. Discovered this nail salon here from yelp. :). I was in desperate need of a gel polish manicure, as the 3-week old one I got elsewhere was chipping away. Located at the old Seattle's Best Coffee location by Costco and across from Starbucks. They were able to take my walk-in at 5 pm on a Saturday. The only issue I had was that one girl started the acetone foil wrap to remove my old gel polish, but it took 25 minutes for the girl who was actually doing my manicure to see me (she had another client). Soaking your fingers in an acetone wrap for that long is very irritating to the skin, and my fingers were starting to get hot inside of the foil. I wasn't happy that my fingers were basically starting to get chemically burned. Thankfully my nail stylist Jenny was very apologetic about the wait and gave me a free heart nail sequin design. The gel polish manicure here is only $30. The only other place I've been able to find for that price is La Bella in town, but I'm glad I finally found a place that's beautiful and clean that's on "my" side of the island. I was very impressed with their gel polish selection. They had about 8-9 color wheels to choose from, which is the biggest selection I've seen. I love gel polish, as it's the only way I can get polish on my natural nails that can survive 2+ weeks with all of the hand washing I do. Even though I began the service upset because of the acetone situation, Jenny was really nice and made up for it. I would definitely come back here. read more

We both purchased the royal pedicure which consisted of clipping, exfoliating, filing, massage, wax and of course the soak. The lady that took care of me was very thorough and there was a significant language barrier, but I think that only pushed her to be more thorough. I've actually never had as thorough a pedicure as was given today. I was concerned that she was going to leave out a part of the royal pedicure (due to the language barrier and not understanding which package I wanted), but the lady doing my wife's nails seemed to clarify it without any delay or issue. The treatment ended with the paraffin wax. It was somewhat humorous as my feet were too big (size 11) for their standard wax bags. Overall a very nice experience. read more

One of the worst places I've ever been to. So I had an appointment at 4pm. Got there at 315, which understandable I was early. BUT I was not helped until 445. Which is ridiculous. So of course the workers are scrambling around trying to get someone to help me. I then finally got help and of course she was rushing on me as well because it had been so long already. As she was cleaning the skin she also cuts me and I start to bleed and at this point it's stinging. She tries to apologize which is fine. But then everything was super rushed and done really sloppy. There wasn't even paint at the end of the nails to close it off. I will never go here again even if someone offered to pay for me. Please do your research. I've read the other reviews on this place. Hmm I was so hesitant about getting my nails done here but I've seen good and bad reviews so hey why not try this place out. I really am disappointed on how my nails came out to be... the color and design is OK and all but the shaping is just horrible!!! The acrylic looks chunky and it makes my hands look fat & I really have small hands & looking at it makes me irritated. Some parts of my nails are uneven. When the technician filed my nails he filed them so hard on my skin that side of my nail bed bled... I wouldn't recommend anyone going here. This place sucks!! Today was my first time at this salon! I called in to ask about a waiting list and I was estimated 45 minutes and that I will be helped at 12:15. My bf and I get there five min prior and they looked busy, but was more than happy to help us get situated. We were helped and started service promptly and they also apologized for the wait which was no big deal at all. My bf got a deluxe pedi and you could tell the technician was being very thorough regardless of how busy it was. I got a regular pedi and my technician was Dee and she did such an amazing job!! Dee took the time to make sure my pedi was perfect and took her time as well. My pedi came out to be so smooth and nice. She did not do a messy job and made sure there wasn't nail polish on my skin. I also got a gel mani on my natural nails and o m g !!! Dee did such an amazing job compared to where I used to go. I was so impressed at how smooth and even they came out! Their service is great but their gift card system is by far the most terrible out of date system ever. They use a paper system and won't deduct tip from it unless it is included and written on the initial gift card purchase. So basically if you don't have cash on you then you can't tip and in order to use your card to tip you have to spend a minimum of $15. It's sad because their technicians are probably getting jipped because most people don't carry cash on them. Long story short. I had a $45 gift card and got the deluxe pedicure and gel nails and was planning on paying the difference which was only $9. I tried asking if I could deduct $10 from the gift card to give as tip and pay the $19 difference because I've received gift cards from them that had tip included but because it wasn't written as tip included, he wouldn't allow it. At the end of it I ended up paying $52 out of pocket to pay for the expensive pedicure that I didn't want (I just wanted a basic pedicure but because the gift card was for $45, I thought I would splurge and get gel and the deluxe) and I ended up keeping the gift card. Poor lady only got tipped $5 which is all I had in my car versus the $10 I was planning on leaving for her. read more

I was coughing so they gave me water and a mask when I asked. I got a pedi as well. The only con was I don't think she cleaned my nails up well after but it didn't bother me much. Today was my first time going to T&T and it was a good experience! I walked in and was seated right away (I did go right when they opened though). The first sign that it was going to be a good visit was when the lady who did my nails (I think her name was Pao) asked me how I was doing. I don't think I've ever been asked that at a nail salon so it was a nice surprise lol. Anyway, I only went in for a gel manicure but she took her time with every single step. She even asked me questions during the service to make sure I liked the shape of my nails, the color of the polish, etc.. My nails feel a little thin, almost like they were buffed too much, but that's the only negative I had from my appointment. I also wish I had known they only do cash tips. Bad customer experience the lady did my daughter nails left my daughter unattended and talking with their language right after she did her job and was just using a fan to dry her nails.
