I absolutely love this nail salon! I have always had a great experience with Kelsea who runs the front desk sometimes. She's always very helpful and takes the time to make sure everybody is having a positive experience. This makes a huge difference for customer satisfaction. I have seen a few negative reviews but honestly, I feel like no nail salon can ever be perfect but I do know that nailoscope is really good at fixing it right away free of charge if there was a mistake or a broken nail within a reasonable time of just getting it done so if you see a bad review, I wouldn't bother with it. My friend and I went in on Saturday afternoon and were seen pretty quickly, even with it being very busy. She had a bit of a wait to get someone while I was getting my nails done, but we were able to sit with each other and chat for a bit. I wanted a design and asked my tech if she was able to do designs, which she showed me some of her previous work. She did an amazing job, and was so fast! We were able to move to get our pedicures done pretty soon after I finished, and that tech did a great job to match the nail color. This is a very nice place. I got a pedicure and the additional treatment to help with calluses. My very exposed summer feet needed a lot of TLC and that is what I got there. I got a fungal infection and I've never seen them open a sterile pack infront of me which is what most other legitimate places do. I'm concerned that they're not sterilizing their equipment. My girlfriend's mom also got a fungal infection on her hands there. I continued to go there, hoping that it wasn't true, but I ended up with the same thing on my foot. The facility and everything is nice, I don't feel that they take ownership of some of the poor quality that they put out, such as offering a discount or a refund. But overall, it would be best that they use an autoclave and properly keep the equipment in the packaging to show clients that this stuff has been sterilized appropriately. read more

Jessy was my nail artist and she knocked it out of the park! My nails turned out incredible just in time for Valentine's Day. She was able to give me beautiful red dipped nails with cute little heart details. I have never been more excited about a pair of nails in my life! The layout of the salon is spacious and well organized. I loved that they had drinks available. I enjoyed a glass of rose while getting my nails done. I will be retuning soon. I can't stand nail artists and nail salons who don't listen to what you want the first time just because it's "better for your nail" ... better for my nails or more money to put in your pocket? like are you paying for it? If I have to tell you multiple times I had a bad experience with builder gel, then stop trying to persuade me to get what I DONT want. I specifically asked for LONG OMBRÉ ACRYLIC COFFIN NAILS. Not only did I call and tell the person what I wanted..but I even told the receptionist plenty of times too when I arrived. I don't know if these nail artists are getting lazy to do acrylic because the builder gel is easier and faster for them but I'm the paying customer. If I want to get them long then don't sit there and cut them how you want it and ask me why I want it that long..not only did she mess up the length but I had to switch up the whole shape and design because it looked like it was too difficult for her to do. I hate to be one of those customers that nag so sometimes I won't say anything and just leave it because I feel bad but there's no way ur going to charge me $150 for a medium french tip and basic white gel toes nails with the basic service. My nail artist in LB does twice the length and design, and pedi with service for almost $110.. and the price doesn't even matter because I still paid the $150 with A TIP. I walked in and saw 5 nail artists just sitting in the salon chairs huddled around just gossiping with each other. Super unprofessional, do that in the back. The only positive thing about this place is that it's very clean and I saw one black queen who was working hard (it's nice to see different ethnicities, I haven't seen any salons working with mixed races since living here in SD) I don't recommend this place read more

Went here for gelx removal and replacement, and had Amy. Wow! Not only is this place clean and cute, but they were so nice and offer free drinks! Amy's work was excellent. I asked for a relatively complicated design and she did great. I loved them, but left them on a bit long. For convenience I made the mistake of going elsewhere for removal, and really regretted it. I visited Nailscope with the intention to get my dip removed so I could have a break from getting my nails done but I decided to get my nails done after all because the place is so nice. The atmosphere is wonderful inside. Everything is new. In addition, the decor is made up of all neutrals so it makes it really calming. It makes you want to sit there for hours sipping on bubbly and listening to music. It's so cool that they have alcoholic drinks available. I got the dip polish & tips removal and got gel polish applied. This was $75. Helen was the nail tech that assisted me and she did a great job. She really listened to me and made great recommendations. She has great attention to detail. Thank you, Helen! The manager was also really nice. She was walking around asking guests if they wanted something to drink. And she helped pick my nail polish color :) I like this place better than the spot next to vons. So glad I don't have to drive all the way to Normal Heights to get my nails done anymore. read more
