It lasted like 55 min and they used lots of different essential oils, aromatic body scrubs, massage, rose petals in the water. I had never done this and will definitely come back. Emily was assigned to me, she was awesome. Quality was A+, I can't complain about anything because it was perfect. I had mentioned in our reservation that it was my friend's bday and they sang Happy Bday and gave him an aromatherapy bomb bath as a gift. What an amazing touch. We were really surprised. I stopped by this place for the first time today as I've had a difficult time finding a decent nail shop. Plenty of parking available. It's convenient that you can make an appointment online and check-in on the iPad at the front. The nail shop itself is very clean and pretty inside! Plenty of seats for pedicure/spa treatments. Staff were all sweet. I was offered beverage upon entrance as well. I just got a simple gel manicure and it was $45. It's pricier than other places I've been to. Nails came out OK. I loved the place really clean, and the staff are really nice and attentive, they returned my call when they weren't able to answer the phone which gives me more reasons to give them more stars. Jasmine did my nails today she out did herself! I needed to do my nails for a concert and I was able to do a walk in gladly they had an open spot for me. I went in and got the Express Pedicure. To begin with, during my 7 minute "massage" she was on her phone and stalled for a bit, that's the part I least cared about just made me mildly annoyed but figured it was something important. She went in with an E-file on my right foot to remove the polish, only removed my cuticle from my right big toe, and didn't cut any of my nails. I was doing work on my laptop and figured she had a process so I didn't think too much about it nor ask. At the end I realized my nails looked messy, uneven, and roughly the same as when I came in. I built up the courage to say some of my nails looked uneven, so she had me point out which ones. I was flabbergasted because I thought it was pretty apparent my whole right foot looked bad. I said the big toe and middle toe, and she said my big toe nail was broken? She then lightly filed my middle toe but it looked the same. I didn't want to make a scene and say that there was polish flooding some of my nails since she didn't touch up afterward with remover, or that one one toe got cuticle worked, or that my nails weren't cut cut nor shaped. I understand I didn't pay for the most expensive service, but even the cheapest (Spa Pedicure) is supposed to come with nail trimming, shaping, and cuticle care. Not to mention my pinky toe which usually requires the above, just had paint thrown on it and called it a day. Extremely frustrated and now have to spend money again to get another salon to fix this read more

I really enjoyed my experience at Mission Luxe, where I rcently received a "basic" gel pedicure with Lisa. I say basic not because it as boring or basic, but because it was the simplest option on their menu and I was feeling cheap. The staff couldn't be nicer - they are all very friendly and welcoming; I was offered drinks by at least two staff members. Lisa was personable and willing to chat but also seemed fine with us not talking. I was busy yakking it up with my friend sitting next to me, who got a gel mani and pedi, also basic. We were both quite pleased with our experiences - the delux massage chairs, the offerings of beverages, the cleanliness of the salon and the friendliness and professionalism of the technicians. I live in Clairemont but am considering making this fabulous Mission Valley salon my new go-to. It's worth it! read more

I came in last minute needing a set for a concert and was lucky enough to be sat with Mia. She was so kind, easy to talk to, and really listened to the design I had in mind. She quoted me $90 for the set (they start at $65, so it was a little steep), but since it was last minute I didn't mind--and she truly delivered. She put so much effort into making sure the design came out exactly how I wanted. It did take a little longer than I expected, but I appreciated how much care she put into it. She did mention the cherry design would be an extra $10, so I decided to skip it to save time and money. While I was there, I was offered a beverage and there was no wait to be seated, which was a nice bonus. It was my first time trying Gel X and it turned out amazing. Mia was also really understanding when I pointed out something I didn't love about the ombré design. I thought it would be a good idea to tag along with my wife and clean up my toes, nice and easy you would think but I should have taken care of it myself to avoid a bloody toe literally. You would think that was the worst of it but then I hear one of the ladies make an unpleasant comment about my legs when she had grabbed the hot towels, talking about you're going to need at least two towels for those super hairy legs.
