One of the best nail salon experiences I've had! The salon was very bright and clean, and safety measures were in place for Covid. Called the night before for a morning appointment for 3 and they fit us right in. They offer a wide range of services and options, including a junior price scale based on a kid's age. The tech took his time with my mani-pedi and made sure everything was perfect. The owner, Joe, offered us mimosas while we were sitting. Realizing he was out of champagne, he literally drove to the store for us! He also found out it was a customer's birthday and brought her a little personal cake while at the store. I'm trying to book an appointment for 4th July with my boyfriend. I tried to ask What kind of service your shop has and what is the estimated price so I can prepare the money. But the woman who answered my phone gave me a scolding sound. like she felt dissatisfied with something I don't feel like going to a business like this because I want to relax. Just answering the phone is still frustrating. I don't know that that woman may have a bad day, but it is not appropriate to put emotions with customers to distinguish. So I canceled my appointment at that time because I wanted to relax on my day off. I didn't want to write badly, but I just wanted to tell the business owner to know that by doing this, the customer has not used the service yet. Your shop is not good since the beginning, just a simple question. That lady acted like this. It will no good to first ask for information. Points for being clean even though the towels were stained but smelled clean. The technicians are ok, I forgot the name of mine but she was SO adamant on me getting gel nails. Either she kept fighting or was just unnecessary pushy about me getting gel. I told her about 10 times I didn't want it but THROUGHOUT the whole 40 minutes she would mention it once every 5 minutes. She had short hair but I can't remember her name. Mindy did my pedicure which was ok but I'd expect my nails to look 10/10 for a $60 lux pedicure. It was very average. She put a timer for a 15 minute massage but stopped about 5 minutes before which I don't understand why. It was an ok experience and I don't think I would return. They asked me for tea and I said yes, but I never got it either. read more

I really did not want to post but since I use and trust Yelp so frequently, I feel I owe it to the community. Now, I'll start by saying that cuts happen, I get it. However, after being cut during my pedicure I was not happy about being cut during my SNS manicure. The woman did not let my hands soak in water and just started cutting my cuticles (I've never had my cuticles cut dry before). When I started bleeding she blamed it on "dry skin"... my nail did not stop bleeding the ENTIRE time. She kept using the same tools and dipped my bloody finger into the SNS powder! She was using her brush and getting blood into the powder on my nail. There also wasn't a towel underneath my hands the entire time, she placed a single small paper towel down at one point. I will never return here knowing that sanitary practices of this one worker. I'm so sorry, the owner seems nice but this woman rushed through everything, cut me twice and still charged me full price. I still tipped because it took time and effort but I will never return. It was NU 123 if anyone wants to know which powder to avoid ..... I'm healthy but who knows how many other bloody fingers have been dipped in there. It would have been best to wait until the finger stopped bleeding completely to continue. read more

i had my first dip powder manicure in nails bar & spa in southriding. i made an appointment ahead of time and spoke with someone that i thought she is the owner. at first i was asking for leena because my colleague told me she always do her nails. the person i spoke on the phone said i can go with leena or mae whoever is available. it so happened when i went there leena which i did not know at first was in the cash register. so i decided just to go with leena. mae was very upset and rude. she came to where i was sitting and told me "next time do not come to me and you go to leena". i do not think this is supposed to be the way they should treat their customers. i was even planning to do a routine monthly manicure with my daughter to them. but now, i changed my mind. i will never go again to nails bar & spa. very rude employee. read more

The nail salon was a sham .I paid $50.00 but did not get the service for it .The girl who did the Pedi was very rough and infact had long nails which kept on poking .I prompted her twice but she continued .My feet still felt rough afterwards .Do not recommend until and unless you are willing to spend big moolah read more

First time here and first impression is that it's really clean and they take the Covid 19 precautions seriously. They have a clean pens to use and once you're done, you place it in the used cup. They ask you to wash your hands. They take your temperature and there are plastic shields at the pedicure chairs. Pedi Chairs are comfortable, the owner is very friendly and my pedicure was very relaxing. It's a beautiful salon and nicely spaced out and not cramped! I recommend this place. I went to get my nails done by Kathy and they looked good no problem. I went home and my nail broke I went a a day or after to get it fixed and when I called they told me yea come anytime and Kathy will fix for you I'm like ok that sounds great I'll be there in few hours. So I went and I sat down and picked the color I chose and I waited 10-20 minutes for her and then she takes care of me and put the foil to take the nail off and she left to take care of another client and someone else fixed it and it looked horrible. It took that lady 10 minutes to do a dip on my thumb when it should take longer. The shape looked way different from others and the length everything. I was upset. I spoke to the manager and told him and he said oh just come tomorrow or Monday and Kathy will fix it I don't have time to keep coming to a salon to fix a nail. read more

Overall pedicure service was nice, all the workers were nice and attentive, offered beverage, and prices are fair. My main negative reason for -2 stars was the tech who could not do a marble design even though when I called before coming into the shop I specifically stated that I wanted a pedicure with a marble design on the big toe only. After entering the salon I reaffirmed the service that I wanted and I was again assured that it would be no problem. The tech who did my pedicure was very friendly & very nice and gave me an awesome pedicure service. however, the second tech who was to perform the hand design was unable to successfully execute the design that I requested after showing her a pic of what I wanted. When I wasn't satisfied with her finished product I asked her to just give me a basic marble design & she said it could not be done unless there was acrylic to lengthen the toenail. unfortunately, this was the only tech who had the ability to perform this request. Sadly I ended up having to pick a regular polish. Well, needless to say marble is typically the only design I ever do when I get a pedicure ( I only get design on the big toe) so I know for a fact that what the tech told me was ABSOLUTELY not true. The tech who actually did my service was graceful and did not up-charge me for any additional services which I appreciate however, in the future, unless I want basic nail painting services I will not be returning to this salon. Either I came on the wrong day or the photos on their website are extremely old because it's very unfortunate how I could not get a basic marble hand design. read more
