Let me put it this way, I've been getting my nails done with Kim for about 10 years and since I moved to San Francisco two years ago, still drive to Santa Rosa to get them done by her. There's no one I trust more. She is super clean! A perfectionist, with attention to detail and time. Everybody compliments my nails, all the time. She shapes them the way I like (squared) makes them as thin as I like (so they don't look chunky or ghetto) uses quality products (I can go three weeks at least without a fill - no popping), and is affordable. ($20.00 for a fill) Kim takes pride in her work, and always makes sure my nails are in tip top shape. She cares about your nails so much if the acrylic does pop, she takes it off and fills with new acrylic - instead of gluing them like many others - which never solves the problem. Every two months or so, she removes all the acrylic from my nails and puts new acrylic on... ahhh.. (10.00 bucks more, but when I go 3-4 weeks w/out a fill, it's economical). This women does amazing work, which is why it has been such a challenge to find someone who can light a candle to her! Highly recommended... and make an appointment too... it's the best way to see her. Other plus, the other staff in the salon are super friendly. I have had so many compliments from people on how beautiful my nails look! They even ask me sometime if I have acrylic on them because they are done so nicely they can't even tell! Even my Sister-in-law that was here from Italy said to me how beautiful my fingernails and toes looked!! I told her about Kim, and how Kim was the only person that I have ever had do my nails that did a "GREAT" job!!! Fortunately for me, Kim just happened to be the person in the third nail salon I tried to have my nails done!! I have been getting fills for the past 21 years. My 1st manicurist left the trade to do something else after doing my nails for 6 years. I floated around for about 1 year looking for the right person and then 1 day I found Kim and have been her client for the past 14 years. She is awesome, quiet yet friendly, very accommodating to her clients needs. I have been getting my nails done and heard her making appointments for her clients on her days off! Who does that anymore? If I remember correctly, she has only risen her prices once or twice in the 14 years she has been doing my nails. And because of that, I give her a "fat" tip each time, whether she is doing my nails or my toes. I am one of those that gets my toes done all year round, more in the spring and summer, but still year round. If you feel that every 2 weeks is too much (financially) for you, Kim has no problem scheduling you out further and doing everything she can to ensure your nails will last . I have referred relatives to her and others as well. Had many problems with my nails in the past but just couldn't stand not having fingernails. I found Kim on yelp and the reviews for her did not lie! She is amazing. She not only was amazingly fast, but my full set of acrylics are better looking than they had ever been before. Kim explained care to make them last longer--she said that if I do the things she recommends, they will last 5 weeks. She has many clients who last that long before a fill. I moved to Santa Rosa 6 months ago and was nervous about having someone new doing my nail after seeing the same gal for the last 17 years. I found Kim on Yelp and made my first appointment. Kim save me 9 years ago. I was going away on vacation and I went to another place to get my nails done they started and they where telling me I needed a whole new set. I knew I didnt they wanted to rip me off. so I walk out and was wondering what I was going to do with my nails not finshes. no nail polish half way done and no fill. Kim is the best. She does such good nail work and she's pleasant to be around while you're getting them done. I'm pregnant and it still took 3 1/2 weeks for me to get any lifting.
