12/30/2030 They are open and see customers, but you have to make an appointment, come from the back door and pay cash or Venmo. They don't take credit cards at the moment. I got a regular pedicure and a gel mani for $60. The lady was working on my toes and the guy did my nails. When I left the salon I was pretty satisfied with the results but when I came home I noticed how average was the manicure. On one of my nails, I there is clear gel on my cuticles. It was probably the base coast or the top coat. On some of my other nails I noticed he didn't apply the nail polish on the side of the nail. On my left thumb you can see the bubbles from when he re-apply the nail polish. While this is it the worst manicure I ever got, it's not the best. Far from it. Very average and not worth the price in my opinion. My toes, on the other hand, look great. So at least it wasn't a complete waste of money and time. I will probably only come back here for pedicures, but not for manicure. ***Update 01/04/2021- my gel nail polish is chipping off after less then a week! The shape of the nails also look uneven. Will not be coming back. I would love to support local business at this time but I also want to get the value for my money. I spend $65 here (with tip). Waste of money and time.

i love love love nails by lee! first off, the customer service is astounding. daniel & karen are the sweetest people and make the atmosphere in the space feel so warm & welcoming. i always arrive & leave with a smile! as for the service itself, i am so happy with my nails every time!!! karen is always so precise & detailed, and if i ever want a change or alteration, she is willing. last night i received a pedicure from ashley and she too takes such good care & did a lovely job! not to mention how kind & personable she is :) bringing everyone i know to this place, its my favorite!

Walked in last minute today! New management, beautiful space, and clean. I got a gel pedicure & had my old gel pedi removed. I got a beautiful vanilla color. Lee is the sweetest most talented nail technician I've ever had. She can literally take any picture you find and replicate it. She's good at every type of nail and shape. So nice and easy to work with. You never feel any pressure from her that you might feel with other techs. You will simply never be disappointed with her shaping and design skills.

Amazing service! The new owner really have the heart of running business at great service. They have water while waiting and very kindly asked me to wait when there was no one available to do my nails. They have many colors from more than one color provider. Very recommend making appointment if you don't want to wait at most 1hr or so. The nail itself was pretty but still not perfect if you look from the side. The front look was great though. My nail lady was a little rush and cut a small wound in my little finger. It heeled in a few days in the first photo. read more

About a month ago, I gave this lying owner the opportunity to give me a pedicure, & I forgot to take my black 100% cotton jacket with me. I recieved it as a Holiday gift from my Mom a year ago. I called the owner, & asked her if it was there, & she curtly snipped, No! & hung up on me. I called back & she yelled some more at me & hung up again. No one should go here, she is lousy & mean, & sucks at her job! Ew----. read more

Horrible, horrible, and I mean horrible customer service. Before I could completely even walk in to say hello I was rudely stopped and asked if I had been there before as if that had mattered. I was a new customer, simply attempting to get a pedicure, but I believe because of the color of my skin I was automatically denied. I could not even speak as to what services I was interested in because with only three people working and only three customers, The woman informed me that they did not have enough time to do a pedicure at 3:43 PM. Despite their only being three people in there, I was denied services and given a very unwelcome and unfriendly introduction. I would never go there again or spend my money let alone recommend anybody to go to this racist nail shop. read more

Do NOT go here!! I had to leave early from my appointment since they were taking longer than expected and said I could come back to get the rest of the pedicure service by paying the full amount and tip. When I returned to have it done, they refused and argued--even when I had paid in advance. read more

The attention to detail and time spent on my nails and toes was amazing. This is my second time back and my gel toes lasted me almost two whole months. Not sure what the negative reviews are for! Her prices are way more reasonably priced than other salons close by as well. I would most definitely recommend coming here if you want someone to truly spend time on your nails and toes. read more

I had not been to this nail salon for years. The other day I was desperate to get my nails done late in the day. When I called, the new owner answered the phone, and even though she was getting ready to close, she told me to come in. I had THE BEST manicure I've ever had in all of Santa Monica! (And I've been to most of the places...) I believe the owner has been there for a couple of years and she and her husband have remodeled and cleaned the place to perfection. I highly recommend calling for an appointment, but if you get service directly from the new owner (I believe her name is Cece?) she is a quality person who does great work, and doesn't overcharge or try to upsell you on things you don't need. A very professional, clean neighborhood place to get a quality manicure when you need it. :) read more

It was nice to see the renovation this place went through. It was out-dated so to see all new chairs, stations, supplies etc. was great and made my experience even better. I went in without an appointment but they happily accommodated me and the services provided were top notch! In addition, the prices were very reasonable. I unfortunately didn't get the name of the woman who attended me, but she was pleasant and welcoming. I have found my new go to nail shop! read more

First of all I have tried dozens and dozens of Nail Salons all over Los Angeles and the USA. A s a well traveled seasoned business IT executive, I can honestly say that Lee's is by far the best of them all. The place is run by Lee and Tony. Their work is extremely professional and detailed. They are amazing at listening to what your wants and needs are, and they will not let you leave, unless you are satisfied. They have been in business so many years, and they take great pride and integrity in their work. They use the best and latest equipment and products. In a former career, I was a top male model with Ford, and am very picky and particular. Lee and Tony are so good at making a custom routine that works for your taste, that I have often referred, many artists who also love their brilliant work. Most important of all they are lovely people, and they make you feel welcome the minute you walk in. Wow. One of the worst pedicures I've ever had. Went in for a gel pedi and the woman basically painted all of my cuticles and didn't cure the gel long enough. When I told her the polish was still sticky and looks matte, she just insisted on wiping it some more with alcohol and putting another layer of gel on. Everything will most likely peel off in 2 days. My feet looked better before I came in. What a waste of $65. read more

OH MY GODDD!!! Tony did an amazing job on my nails! I've been having a hard time finding a good salon and this one is definitely one to put on my list! I haven't had a nail tech who has done a good job on my hands while being kind, and engaging with me at the same time. I absolutely love this place. The staff are extremely welcoming the moment you walk in. They always offer you water which is always a huge plus, shows how hospitable they are. She did so much touch up with acetone that it left my feet and cuticles dry and ashy and somehow it was still polish everywhere. Clearly, I'll have to remove this. I wish all techs were good like before. It's uncomfortable to have to call out someone's bad job while they're standing there waiting on a tip.

I'm really happy with how they came out. I did a regular pedicure as well (i'm not sure what the techs name was) but she was really good & checked in with if I wanted my nails cut, the length, etc. After a month they still look amazing!! The extensions havent budged and the design hasn't chipped or anything.

She was friendly, super efficient, rechecked with me my length, shape, etc multiple times, and even redid some steps that she saw she missed. Overall, I'd definitely come back for a pedicure or emergency removals!

I was asked if I could wait but wasn't given a time. I assumed it would be 15-20 min wait. It ended up being an hour wait and the tech that ended up helping me wasn't even on site. He was just starting his shift. Additionally it was a male tech and I was not asked if I was ok waiting 60 mins and not asked if I was okay having a male tech for my pedicure. They still didn't have someone available to do my manicure so the owner who was also the receptionist and cashier did my manicure. This ended up being 2 hours long from beginning to end. Because the owner was the receptionist and also the cashier she was extremely distracted having to walk away so many times and upon returning kept forgetting what finger she was working on. This added to the length of time I was there and unfortunately this was not a relaxing experience for me. Also, all of the OPI color options are outdated or completely used and not properly maintained and cleaned. They look like they are refilled and do a very poor job maintaining them. Additionally no one is actively cleaning. Lots of used towels everywhere. Also there was trash on the floor and all employees including the owner just walked over and around it. No one concerned for how messy the floor or anything is. The restroom needs a good power washing. Instead of using the chairs basin for the pedicure they put a small basin that looks old and used. Also I'm not sure how clean anything is. Overall lacking a lot of maintenance and upkeep. Also it's been 7 days and my gel mani is already peeling. My pedi looks like I could have done a better job myself. Honestly I will not be returning.

I made a 10:30 am appointment for gel nails and a regular pedicure, and arrived a couple of minutes early. The owner greeted me, and I was seated right away, with Thao for my pedicure, to start. I greatly needed a callous remover treatment, as I haven't had that done in probably 5 years (unless I did one myself over the years while painting my own nails; probably not). She did an amazing job, then painted my toenails in my favorite Chanel Le Vernais color, which I brought in myself. Mai did my manicure, and used the salon's black gel polish, which matched perfectly. The top coat gave it the same shine as my Chanel toenails, and everything looks great! The ladies were super fast; done in about an hour. I've had mani-pedis go 90 minutes, but not here! I would definitely go back. The salon is clean and gorgeous, and the service is fast, friendly and of excellent quality. I may have to make this a regular part of my beauty routine!

I have been going to the nail shop on Main street (main attraction) and was very unhappy with their business.My friend had reccommended this place and so I looked it up on Yelp. I was kind of skeptical in going after reading some of the reviews on this, but I still went anyway. This place is great! Its hard to find a place that can do a proper full set ( making the nails not to thick and tacky). A male worker name Andy, did my nails and they came out looking gorgeous and natural! My Pedicure (done by Tony) was very needed, and it came out looking great as well. All the employees were respectful, and they all made sure I was relaxed and satisfied before leaving the shop. Update to my review. I have emailed them twice and called them multiple times about my injuries. I have also sent them a legal demand letter. I don't think they took me seriously, so I had no other choice but to file a lawsuit. So if you read this, please know I have tried to settle this amicably. You will be served by the Los Angeles Sheriff's department in the next few weeks if a request to appear at the Beverly Hills Superior Court on August 4th. Nails by Lee.. now what can I say?... well to start off.. the place was very fun! the workers were very welcoming, funny, and warm. They all did a tremendous job! I was very pleased! and that was my first visit there! I have now been going there for a good 6 years! and trust me I have gotten everything done there!
