I don't often write reviews, but I wanted to give my two cents on this salon. This place is a quaint salon inside a larger hair salon. The owner Liz, is extremely sweet and accommodating, and she will take care of you. I have sensitivity with my toes and she is always careful and takes her time to make sure she takes care of the discomfort. She is very open, and if you have a request, all you need to do is ask. She is all about the customer. The salon is clean and the tools are sterilized. There is a nice variety of colors to choose from and the prices are very affordable. Although this is not what you would think of a typical, large salon, this place always make me feel comfortable and my mani and pedi ALWAYS look exactly how I want it. I would HIGHLY recommend this nail salon! A few weeks ago I had went to go see another manicurist for a full set and I was BOTCHED. (Look at before picture) I made an appointment with Liz and told her what happened so as she removed my acrylics I had on, you could see the damage of my nails and cuticles were not even removed. Liz did a FULL NEW SET and saved my nails! (After pictures). I realized that with my job as an esthetician, I would either have to learn to work with longer nails or just stick to my own regular nails. I came back today (3 weeks and 3 days later) to get the acrylic set removed and just get a regular gel manicure and my nails feel and look great! I do have some thin spots because of all the trauma I already put my nails through but today I have my own regular natural nails and they look and feel amazing! I also got a pedi yes done here for the first time and MAY WAS AMAZING! She was actually the one who did my manicure and pedicure today. I had a previous appointment with a much farther salon but unfortunately couldn't make the time slot. So, I went yelping and searching nearby salons with great reviews. I found nails by liz, read her reviews and all of them awesome! So i walked in and she saw me right away! Omg so relaxing and they took their time to make sure everything was perfect. Liz is so nice I'm so glad I found her and she's nearby too! I got a full set mani pedi and found myself so relaxed I almost fell asleep. I definitely would go back to Liz again! I made an appointment with my sister 3 weeks ago, we normally came for 2 pedis and one full set, we ended up walking out just with my full set. Liz did my nails and was very inpatient I had shown her a photo of what my inspo was; I was looking for a basic square-rounded natural pink nail color. As she started doing my acrylics I didn't like the shape she was filing, so normally as one does- I asked if they can fix the nail to my liking. It started straight up squared not rounded at all, so I asked her can you please round off the edges. She was going based off a chart she had of nail shapes in which option 2 on the chart looked square-rounded, I had a complete squared nail. She got upset that I was telling her if she could fix the edges to make them look a little rounded, even tho the chart option 2 looked rounded. She fixed it and I didn't like it. Since I was paying to get my nails done I told her, can I just get them rounded instead? Mind you I was being polite about it, I said it with no attitude or bitchy face. She got upset that I changed my mind like ma'am if I don't like it I can change my mind, I'm paying you to do my nails to my liking, right? She started getting fussy, nodding her head no because I was on top of her to do it correctly how I liked it. I was not about to walk out paying for something I didn't like. I asked if she could thin out the nail because they looked wide on my chubby fingers, the shape was fine!! It was just the width! She got upset because based on the chart I was constantly changing the size which she was referring to as numbers. But if I don't like it I'm going to say something, right? So she gets mad and goes "you keep changing the size just tell me what you want." To which I said "well I didn't like the shape I just asked you if you can thin it out, the shape is fine." And she goes "well if I thin it out it's going from rounded which was size 3 to size 4 (which was an almond shape not round), just tell me what you want I can't be starting over." She was just filing my nail of which she did the acrylic beautifully and quickly-- I had no reason to be upset because she did it quick and efficiently. I was genuinely patient asking her you're still going to make it round right? You still have to file right? Because she was trying to move on quickly. My appointment was at 11:30am they opened at 10 and there was only one other customer who was getting a pedicure... So she said "if I make it thinner it won't go with your nail shape... to make it thinner is going to be option 4 (the almond shape), I can't do it exactly how the picture looks it's just a reference - just similar." Please correct me if I'm wrong rounded is not like almond shape I was just asking for a thinner width of which she couldn't understand. Anddd after changing my mind the picture I had looked nothing like the nails I had So she goes "pick shape because I'm not going to change again." So then I said "sorry, you're not going to do it again????" And she goes "no, no I do but you're constantly changing you're mind." Girllll I could of straight up walked out. My sister was about to go off - OHH and as this was all happening another customer came in and they took her before my sister. There was another lady doing the pedis, they took the other customer who also wanted a pedi before my sister... (I'll leave you with that...) Soooo I told Liz option 3, and I told my sister I'll just file them at home. She put on the color quickly, did the gel etc. Before starting I asked how much it was going to cost me, she said $50. She finished, and told me it was $55. I told her "we're going to leave so it's just my nails" and she said $55. I could of argued but I just paid her the $55 because they didn't look bad, and she did the acrylic well. So I zelled her because they only take cash, and we walked out. And funny, on the wall she haa paper with a picture of Jesus and sheep that under it said "please listen, before getting mad." THE IRONY As I was leaving it seemed that she had a usual customer because her attitude switched completely. Take what you will with that... read more

So let me start of by saying I NEVER leave reviews on yelp but this place was so bad i just had to. I've been here twice before this incident for a pedi which the lady had to redo because she didn't apply my gel correctly (that's another story for another day). I went this past Saturday to get a pedi and acrylic nails. I let the nail tech know I wanted Ombré white nails she was hesitant but said she can do it so I went for it long story short I didn't like the color (it looked NOTHING like the picture I showed her)so I asked her politely to repaint them she was obviously upset and made the most rude comment she said "ugh nude doesn't even go with you" I'm a dark Latina girl so I was legit offended she then doesn't take off the previous gel and just paints over my nail! So they were chunky and sloppy. I didn't want to make a scene left and that was that. Never again coming to such a rude place. read more
