This place is cute but the nail techs are rude and unprofessional. I read the reviews and decided to ignore them because I know people have different experiences etc. my experience started off fine then it went down hill quick.They don't change their gloves in between clients. i went today as a walk in with my bestie for two pedicures, the young guy who helped at the front was a little unfocused but polite enough. i got kathy for my service and i can't remember who did my friends nails, but both women were so so skilled! we were in n out in an hour- we both got frenchies with gel and my bestie got a flower- and the attention to detail was amazing. mine came out to $60 and my friend's was $70. the location isn't great and there did seem to be an issue with ants that threw off the vibe a lil but overall it was a great time and wonderful service! kathy was really communicative and i'll definitely be requesting her next time i come in! read more

The whole nail salon and staff was a great experience! I have not been somewhere I can say was 1000/10 from Start to finish. The front desk was extremely nice and offered something to drink while I waited to be seated for my apt. Henry aka Ken (@nails.byken) was super incredible. He was so knowledgeable in all things nails, gave me advice on how to maintain mine healthy, and gave me the MOST stunning nails I've ever gotten. I am so in love with the work he did! I happened to be there as there Christmas party was being set up and the owners offered me some moscato and lobster tail! So I informed him that the confirmation did not give me a specific technician. He told me to have a seat and wait a bit. So I sat for about 20 minutes. Another woman walks in and same thing: he asks if she booked online, she said yes, he tells her they have to reschedule her. Then he looks at me and asks if I booed online. I said yes, but That I have no other day I could come in ( I work long hours). He then tells me that they can't take me cause they are all busy. AFTER WAITING 20 mins!!! How VERY unprofessional. Horribly rude. I had an appointment at three yesterday which I was very excited for as I have been watching their work and it looked fantastic. The second I walked in everyone just looked at me and stared, I stood there for a second in awe of no one saying hello or greeting me. I said hello and all they said was 3- you have appointment at 3? If I could give NO stars I would. This place is full of scammers, disrespectful, arrogant, toxic employees who are clearly UNHAPPY in this environment and will make sure customers leave dissatisfied as well. They can care less whether you have an appointment or not. None of them ever smile or make you feel welcomed. I agree with the rest of the reviews regarding appointments..this place will run to take your deposit but will never honor your appointment time they do not care or value customers' time. they will make you wait 30-40 mins WITH appointment without a shame and if you try to reschedule or cancel you will lose your deposit which is tacky to me. All they care is taking your money. They make people wait to show as if theyre busy from outside. RUN FROM The technician wearing hat and mask ALL the time i think is Cinthia or Cindy who is hiding her identity so no one will recognize her because she scams people and acts all quite and naive, especially if you are the last appointment of the day and she is closing. When there is no one around she will charge you MORE than whats the actual price and if you question she will blame on the owner but owner most likely has no idea what she is doing. I did my pedicure once and had my toe swollen after her service she didnt even acknowledge or apologize, that shows that tools are not sanitized and the place is full of infections. I would always make an appointment and yet always humbly waited even if they did it on purpose over 45 mins which is unacceptable. she does it intentionally and then will cry to you about her family and personal life and fiance being verbally abusive to her so you feel bad and tip more which I fell for previously. Not to mention how dirty and unlicensed they are. Ask to see their license and see what happens, they will give you attitude and purposely make sure service is not done right. I doubt they are legally licensed. Overall service is horrible they will treat you like you owe them something end of the day. I do not recommend this place to anybody theres too many WAY BETTER and much affordable nail places in the area, even in the same shopping center who will be more than happy and appreciative if you go back unlike this toxic one. Run from this place, that's my final review to all, im sure those who have tried will agree. And those who left a positive review youre either a family, friend or were asked to do it lol. read more

I have been coming here to get my nails done for several times and every time I came I have a pleasant experience with different nail tech. Anything I requested or any design I want they all can do it. When I first came here Trinnie did my nails and I was so happy with my nails so on my next appointment I tried to book with her but she is not available. However, she asked if other nail technician could help me out, I was hesitate at first because I am super picky about my nail, but then I decided to give another nail tech a try and it turns out that they can do exactly what I want. So from then I no longer worry about having other nail technicians from the shop help me out because at the end I always leave with satisfied. Gel X is always my preference since I'm allergic to acrylic. It's lightweight and can last me up to 4-6 weeks but I usually get my nails done every 3 weeks. read more

Disappointed in the way the company handled their clients and nail techs. The high chairs and bar top like seating was very uncomfortable. Also, there nail tech turn over is proof of how terrible they treat there techs. Pedicure stations are not comfortable or easy to get too because you have to climb up a few steps to get to the chairs. read more

To start with , it's sad to see the owner of the shop sees and ignore your DM's. I had a nail appointment on April 9th with Ken at 12pm. I show up at 11:50am and he is still with his customer which I understand. So I'm waiting and it's already 10 mins past 12:00pm so they come to me and say it's gonna be just another 15 mins that he was running behind. Mind you this , I had this appointment set up a week in advanced . So I let him know it was fine . I waited. Now it's 12:25pm and he is still not done , so I go up to the owner (Trinnie) and ask her how much longer ? And the exact time he needed to finish so I can wait in the car. They said 10 more minutes. I didn't get seen until 12:45pm. But hey I get it things happen so I shake it off and show him what I will like for my nails. Ken starts to do my nails and is complimenting how pretty the nails were coming out. To ME they look nothing like what I asked for. My nails were wide and thick and bumpy. He did the work half assed. I had already been waiting on him for 45 mins so I just went home and dm the owner that I was dissatisfied with the work . I had paid $105 with a $10 tip. I wrote the owner. Never did she apologized. She asked if I can come in the next day which was April 10 Sunday at 12pm. I get there and the owner says oh I send you a dm that we were running late so it's gonna be a while. I look at my phone and she had just send it a few mins before I got there. So I go to the car and wait 20 mins. Then I come in and Trinnie has me sit in her station. She reshaped my nails to the shape I had asked for and made them all even. But since I had just gotten the Gel-X nails a day before she asked if I can keep the nails for a week and then I can reach out to her to come in and she will redo my nails to my liking since I PAID $105. I agree even tho the nail colors and design was ugly. I write Trinnie on Instagram since that's how we've been communicating. And I see she read my message and ignored it . I figured okay she's probably busy at the shop . So as the day is going by her Instagram story is full of nail videos of her teams day work. She's on Instagram and still ignored my dm. So next day I write her again and Ofcoarse she reads it and ignores me again. Never acknowledged that she clearly told me to reach out to her so she can REDO my nails and now I'm being ignored. I absolutely loved coming here . I visited this place for 4 months and did my nails every 2 weeks . I've spend over $800 within that time frame. Clearly the owner doesn't care to keep new clients. It's a shame that she can't just response since she's online all day posting stories. Very frustrating and unprofessional. Never coming here again . NOT RECOMMENDED. read more

Got a last minute appointment at Nails by Trinnie Nails with Melody who did an awesome job with manicure. During her work she was talking to her friend in Chinese Mandarin which I don't mind, I understand that it's boring to sit there all day doing some strangers' nails. Melody was very nice and polite speaking English to me but she didn't know that I was fluent in Chinese, speaking it for 15 years. I felt grossly embarrassed and humiliated when she told her friend in Chinese with an angry tone that I was so dumb, I was moving my hands too slowly, and she didn't understand how I just graduated (which I shared with her several minutes before) from a nursing school. The friend continued trash-talking me, saying that all we (meaning English-speaking people) do is party around. The friend said something else but I didn't hear her because my heart was beating so fast, my head was thumping, and I started sweating all over my body. I almost burst into tears right there. I have never been humiliated this much in my life. I paid $75 for her work and I left a hefty tip of $25 but I will never come back to Nails by Trinnie anymore. My nail tech was Jason. I explained to him how my nail beds were really thin and how I was having a lot of sensitivity. He recommended the gel X. He was gentle with my nails. The whole process from start to finish was very thorough from cleaning my cuticles to shaping my nails. And an added bonus is that he said that he does intricate nail designs.
