At 6:42 p.m., I asked, "What's the point of paying 20 percent of your bill if they don't respect their own '20 percent policy' when you're late? They keep your money and then bump you." It's incredibly irresponsible and unprofessional to ask for 20 percent upfront and then be lazy about keeping track of their own appointments, especially when they charge 20 percent upfront for them. In all my years of getting pedicures and manicures, I have never been charged a 20 percent fee upfront. And on top of that, I'm left wondering what the point of the fee and the appointment is if they don't honor the time. If they are this lax with appointments, I can only speculate on the shortcuts they employ in providing service and maintaining quality. When you charge a fee for a service upfront, you must deliver on your promises. This is not only disappointing, but also problematic.
