However, as I was leaving today, I noticed I hadn't received a receipt so I asked for one. When I got to my car and reviewed it, I saw I had been charged an extra $10 for a "nail fix." That was confusing to me because I came in for a builder gel set on my real nails and they had done my previous set as well. I went back inside to ask about it and was told by the manager that the charge was because I had partially removed the gel from two of my nails. I explained that the gel had started peeling after two weeks, so I removed part of it myself this morning knowing I was going to come get them fixed after work today. My main concern is not necessarily the $10 itself, but the lack of transparency. Three different employees assisted me today between my pedicure and gel set and at no point was I informed there would be an additional charge. When I asked why no one thought to alert me, I was told they "thought I knew." Very odd response for it only being my 3rd time. I was initially excited to find a new nail salon that provided good service and transparent pricing, but adding charges without communicating them beforehand (and then making excuses for the lack of communication) makes me reconsider returning

I needed a quick pedicure and decided to stop by to see if there were any changes in the business with the new management. I had a gift card that i received for my birthday last year that I still had some funds left. Since I never received notice of new management, although i've been coming here since 2010, I had no way of knowing that my gift card had been deactivated with the changes. Looks like i was completely removed from the system. It would've have been nice to receive some notice and some grace as a long time customer, but i was only offered a few dollars off which doesn't matter once you add a tip. But I'm glad i came today because I know now that I will not be returning, especially since my favorite nail techs left to go to other shops(thankfully i found most of them already).

I was greeted warmly and asked what services I wanted; I needed a shellac manicure for my daughter, basic manicure and pedicure for myself. They promptly took me to the spa and sat my daughter at station and began working on us. While my pedicure was getting started a gentleman, whom i presume, is an owner/manager began my manicure. I appreciated that because I could finish up at the same time as my daughter. I did not get the gentleman's name but he was friendly and we had a great conversation about the area, he offered Vietnamese food options to try in the local vicinity, it was an altogether pleasant and organic conversation. Right before they began on my toes I had an emergency call and had to leave without getting my toes painted. They were so understanding and accommodating, and told me to come back when it was sorted. I came back the next morning about 30 mins after they opened, and they remembered and had me in and out within 20 minutes. I appreciated their customer service and was pleased with the results. I'll be returning definitely.

By August 7th, my toe nail polish was chipping just for wearing closed toe shoes. This has never happened before with gel polish. I should have known the polish was old or something was going on with their supplies because every color I requested, they said they didn't have and I eventually just settled on a color. The guy who did my nails was rude, he kept telling me what color he wanted to give me based on what he had and then got frustrated because I didn't want to just wear anything.
