I love getting my nails done at L'Amour with Linda. She is fantastic with acrylic shaping and designs, always matches the pictures I show her. She takes her time to understand exactly what I want and executes it perfectly. The prices are unbeatable for the quality of service. Usually my full sets range from $55 (simple design) to $75 for something complex. I always leave feeling thrilled with my nails. First time I came here a few months ago because I needed to get my nails redone from another salon (I didn't like them & but was going on vacation & needed a new set). Decided to go to Nails L'amour for the first time because it was close to my house & opened early. I walked in & Tina helped me out, made my nails look so cute! Loved the little flowers she did check out the before & after, she really did an amazing job! Came back a few times now & happy to say I've found my go-to girl! Ana did my gel pedicure. She was so detailed and sweet! I absolutely love the floral details she put and I love my French pedicure I look alive and fresh again! Linda is the owner and she was so nice, welcoming, and has been in this industry for over 20 years! I got a dip set with the cutest square shape. Just what I wanted! Next time I'm getting GelX. She was super informative, educated me on nail care and a true professional! All the employees treated each other like family and made sure each of them ate. You can tell the vibe is good when there's healthy relationships among the staff. They remind me of my mom, so caring! Thank you Lamour nails! I will be back Ok edit. I'm hungry and it's 1pm. I asked if I can possibly use the microwave for my lunch. Linda jumped up right away to find my food!! SOooo next level sweet! She even presented it to me in this cute tray and gave me a chopstick! The place is small and very basic; if you're bougie, I don't know if you'd love this place. Its also small, I can see how and why it would get busy causing longer waits. I messaged them on Yelp and was able to secure 2 pedicures at 3:30pm on a Thursday. We arrived 10 minutes early and had no problem getting attended to at the earlier time. The place is $35/pedicure and they did a great job. They have some real strong massage chairs which is a bonus. I def had some ingrown nail action and they went to town without me even asking. The polish job was great. And, you actually choose polish from a book vs a row of polish options, and surprisingly made it pretty easy! Everyone was really nice and I was able to use card, although do they request gratuity in cash. Overall, a solid little spot with plenty of parking. read more

This is my second time to have nail art done. I haven't done my nails in years and I haven't really paid much attention to them. I decided to have the nail art again for the upcoming Harvest Moon Day this Sunday. I chose dark blue polish with pink undertone, glitter and crystals. I watched her the whole time and I can tell she was a pro at her craftsmanship. My nails were manicured and there were no excess nail polish that ran over my cuticles. She buffed the blue and pink together that they blended in smoothly. I would recommend this place to those who want to try nail art. Their price is reasonable. read more

I am a certified aesthetician as well though I don't practice at the moment. It's quite difficult to find a place or a person who can meet the standard you have. I value time as much as quality. Within less than 30 minutes which it should only take actually - I was surprised to find an aesthetician finishing the service provided. This makes me wait for further more experience with the salon. I don't think I can say enough good things about this place, they truly exceeded my expectations. I was looking to kill some time in the area and was in dire need of a pedicure so I got super lucky that they took me as a walk-in. It was a busy Saturday morning for them but these ladies get to WORK. I'm talking about attention to detail, checking in on their clients every step of the way, and overall creating a great nail salon experience. What stood out to me the most was the fact that this was the most affordable gel pedi I've had in years. My total came out to only $45 before tip, and this included the lavender spa add-on! These ladies are also the sweetest people and they made me feel so relaxed and made sure I was pleased with the outcome. They're located in the same plaza as 7-Eleven across the street from Ocean supermarket. They also do nail designs! I'm typically not an acrylics girl, but after going through their IG and seeing recent Yelp photos, it's very tempting to make an appointment. Though it's a small shop, they are well staffed and accommodating to each client. read more

I wanted to get my acrylics removed before a new set, so I chose this salon (one of many close to where I live) based on the time they open on a weekday. My nail tech was Linda. I should have taken seriously many of the negative reviews. First red flag - The station was absolutely filthy and all the tools looked like they haven't been wiped down in forever, but since I wasn't there for a full set, I tried to look past it. The second red flag (which I beat myself up now for not speaking up) was how HOT the "acetone" was that was used to soak my set off. I put acetone in "" because I did not see with my own eyes what was put into the bowl or how it was heated. The last red flag, where I really can't blame anyone but myself for not saying anything, was when the tech decided to use the electric nail drill to remove the acrylic (after soaking) off my nail. The nail tech was talking the whole time, and it seemed like she paid no attention to how much of my actual nail she was taking off. I knew the whole process was a mistake the moment I got home and tried to wash the dishes with WARM water. My nail bed was so thin from the drill tool that it was extremely sensitive to the water!!! I've never experienced this before! The pictures I posted are 3 weeks later. I tried to salvage my nails but they are so thin, they snag on everything! One even broke so unevenly, it bled. There's no salvaging these now, and all I can do is share my experience and hope you no one goes thru what I did. read more

Merp. The location has parking and it is a tiny location. Not as nice look as other salons and the quality of nail polish is meh. I know some nail tech knew what is required to make a design and at this location I had to make decisions. I understand confirming the color but you say the design as The quality of nail polish was not as good as other place as the star add on fell off after one day and the polish chipped off sooner. A plus for me was that removal was included in cost. Price wise it is cheaper than other places. I don't think I would go back here again, sadly. read more

Went for pedicure and manicure. It's ok. Folks are nice . Pedicure felt a bit rushed and did okay job. They could take more time with 45$ charge. Did acrylic mani with clean girl look. Got nails done by Tina for first time. Had read good reviews for her. Sadly she cut me at 2 places with one bleeding badly. One when she was removing cuticle and another when she was using filing tool. She also missed powder on side of a nail. The nails look good and she did apply neosprin at the cuts. No sorries though. Had she not cut me or missed applying powder on the side, I would have given her 5. I still tipped her but gave a head up on positing a review. PS I use my husband's yelp account. Don't intend to psych out readers read more

After the mask application, my esthetician left for awhile which usually the massage takes place right after ( or at least what I'm used to) 3. Most of these reviews mentioned receiving a dessert item after their facial but I was bummed because I was skipped out on this one. I was actually looking forward to this too *As a suggestion - If it's a routine to offer a client a treat after their facial, it should be mandatory to do the same for each customer who gets a service. I say this because most people will read the reviews and would expect it. I just so happen to be one of those customers. Overall, the facial itself was okay. It definitely wasn't worth how much I paid for it and I wouldn't recommend coming here. There's plenty of places in the Bay Area that are reasonably priced that will leave you with a better experience and outcome of your skin.

It went well until I felt like when she went to remove I've of the eyelid covers, she must've got glue on my lid or lashes somehow and ripped when she went to take it off. I should've known that point this was going to not be good. My other eye she kept poking me with tweezers or something (my eye was closed) but I kept feeling little stinging pains and showing her it was hurting me. Then she finished (about 2 hours later around 5) and I immediately couldn't open my eye. Something kept feeling like it was stabbing my eye. I kept trying to tell her I couldn't drive home like this because my eye was watering like crazy because of whatever the lash was doing. She kept trying to fix it but we spent a good 10 mins just trying to get my eye to feel like it could open again. I eventually left when my watering eye came under control. But the rest of the night my eye was red, tearing up like CRAZY, and hurting. I thought with time it would get better but by the next morning my eye was swollen and VERY irritated. I had to remove the lashes less than 24 hours later in the morning by my mom's lash girl who fit me in for emergency lash removal. When I went to get them taken out, she told me there were hardly any lashes and that usually the amount she took off both eyes was the amount on both my eyes. So basically there were hardly any lashes on. She said they were placed improperly, which is why my one eye swelled up. Looking back, when I left Nita offered me a "free follow up appointment" but I wonder now if it was because she wasn't sure about her work. Needless to say I won't be coming back for that. EDIT: Green Skincare saw my review and apologized to me and gave me my money back for this. I appreciate it, and wanted to add that to the review that some action was taken to remedy this. So I can go from 1 to 3 stars because of the apology and refund.

I asked how how long it will take, she said about two hours (90 minutes facial and 30 minutes eyebrow tinting), however, I felt like after the eye brows tinting, the facial part was maybe just about an hour, where did the other half an hour go? Did she spend one hour to get my eyebrows tinted? Or was I pushed to pay more $$ but not really get the real value here?

Unfortunately, my skin had an extremely poor reaction to it and I got acne like I never had before. My self esteem plummeted and I didn't want to leave my house due to my skin condition. Tried literally every product under the sun and nothing ever worked. I decided to give this place a shot, and it's incredible how quickly the results are. You can see photos from my first appointment in June to a few days after to the last week of the month. Lina spent so much time in crafting a dedicated plan for me and she has extensive knowledge of Chinese medicine/practice. I go once a month now for facial/extractions and every three months for microneedling. I barely break out now and my skin has never looked better! I cannot recommend this place enough (Biggest shoutout to Lina and Karen! These women are pros and their work and care sincerely changed my life!!)

I had also tried various recommended skincare from Sephora and other beauty influencers on Instagram, but none of them seemed to work. On a whim, I asked my skincare-addict friend if she had any recommendations, and she said her friend had gone to this place in Fremont that does acne extractions that she spoke highly of. Before this, it hadn't even crossed my mind to see an aesthetician for my acne. Karen was my aesthetician, and she performed a manual acne extraction + other hydrating treatments afterwards. I'm not going to sugar coat it, the extraction HURTS! But it's only in the moment of the extraction, it doesn't keep hurting afterwards. Karen was as gentle as she could be, but also meticulous. I felt as if she was digging into every one of my pores (in a good way)! After years of struggling with acne, I decided to bite the bullet and just trust the process with Karen. Instead of other facial places, I don't have to pick and decide for myself which treatment I want -- Karen takes in the current state of my face with every visit and suggests the treatment that she thinks is the best. It took a little while to fully see the results, but it was so worth it! After a few months, I already started see a reduction in my normal acne. In around year or two, I not only barely had any acne, my skin was so much healthier, and I swear my pores seemed to have shrunk! This is no doubt a splurge on myself (I now routinely go in for monthly facials), but has honestly been so worth it. I do feel like Beauty Legend uses quality products & technologies, like nice Italian skincare & modern Korean technology/machines. I almost exclusively use their products in my home skincare routine now. I'll try some other products every once in a while, but my skin seems to not like them as much!

The seat where i was sat wasn't even drained all the way and theres was residue from the past person. The lady was cutting my cuticles and was digging deep and I was nervous she was going to cut me. Another customer came in so they switched and she proceeded to cut even more cuticle where the other lady already cut. Then she pulls the cuticle skin and my toe starts bleeding. I don't know what she was putting to stop the bleeding but it was in a small green bottle and smelled a bit like acetone. Once we were done soaking and cutting she dries off my feet and proceeds to cut the SAME spot again and pushing against the cut. The salon looks dirty,cheap, and the tools don't seem like they sanitize them. wouldn't come here again despite the cheaper price.

I also got my haircut by a different lady.. she was absolutely rude, looked at my picture once and never looked at it again and cut it the way she wanted. She was pulling and tugging on my hair, and her nails were sharp so constantly clawing and scratching at my neck when she was tugging at my hair. It explains why only men go to get their haircut there because it's cheap.. and there are only 2 hair stations while the rest of the salon is filled with nail techs. I prefer this for my nails but I would NEVER recommend getting your haircut there.

Maybe the blue color I chose was still good but my sister, who got the classic white pedicure, said her paint already chipped by the she got home from work that night. The top coat wasn't holding up well. There was a new employee that day so I give them grace but she was not professional and need to be trained with the same TikTok lounge skills & manners!
