I went for my first time today this shop and my first impression was horrible. I said hello and said I had an appointment and it was like I didn't exist they continued working. I sat down and when the nail Tec was done then I let them know I had an appointment with Ana for 2 pedicure and they said we didn't say the name when we booked the appointment and it would later for the tec to do our pedicure. Worst customer service I ever experienced, wish it could get shut down just by how bad they treat people. Manager kicked out a family member of mine just because she asked for a certain removal and refused to do it because "he will do it the way he wants to do it" and "there are many other places you can go". She had someone else do it previously in the salon and once he started he said he is refusing to work with her and will ban his other employees with working with her as well just because of a certain request. Rude, rude, RUDE. Normally come here because it's close by and one of the ladies does a good job, particularly because she applied foil one time to my nails during my manicure and it helped with not hurting my nails. The last time I stopped by here, that same lady was not there to do my nails and I had to get my nails done by some man. When I kindly asked him if it would be possible for him to do the same thing with the foil that the other did, he rudely snapped at me and said that he was going to do the nails like he wants to do them and if I don't like that then I could've gone to another place instead of even coming here. The more I tried to explain it, the ruder he got so I just simply mentioned that if that was going to be the case then I would rather wait for another person to assist me, I no longer felt comfortable being worked on by such a hostile, rude person. Then, this devilish spawn of the earth proceeds to yell and say that he's the owner and that he wouldn't allow nobody else in the establishment to assist me and literally told me to get out. I have always been kind and understanding with service people and this was not my first time at this place so I was so shocked and hurt. It doesn't matter if he was constipated or was having a bad day, there's a way to talk to people and engage with customers. You would've thought I was one of those rude, entitled people that nitpick everything when they get a service, but I was nothing but nice with this rude, stupid pig. The CIVIL way to go about it would have been simply saying, "Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with doing nails like that other lady did. I can only do it the way I know how to do, but if you'd prefer you could wait for someone else to assist you, if that's okay." DUMBASS! He must thrive on power tripping others because there was no need to go about it the way he did -- rude and humiliating. The woman working was the only endearing one, she tried to explain it to him and communicate the situation, but unfortunately this pig literally blew up for no reason. People -- do not come here and give that scum any service, he does not deserve it for the way he treats customers. Yes, people have the right to run their business the way they want to (even if it's in a poor, piss way), but customers have the right to be treated with respect, ESPECIALLY when they're being nothing but kind. There's a way better nail spa a few blocks away on Harbor next to the Chuck E. cheese that has better prices and nicer workers. If I could leave no stars I would, me and my sister in law came for a girls date pedicure to relax and spend some time. We called before to make sure not busy they said come right in. As we got there the owner I Assume was finishing some other girls nails, as she finished she called us over and started with my sister in law. Her pedicure did not even last 10 min!!!! Over all she was rushing the whole time. When it came to my turn she made me sit, the water was Cold! As she started cutting my nails she was a little rough I said out loud ouch that hurts, she said yeah. I had an ingrown she shoved the tool up my toe nail made me bleed. She thought it would stop but got worse. She had to put some powder on my toe. she continued to slap my feet, and rub the toe was uncalled for no need to keep pushing in my toe. This was not done to my sister in law at this point she noticed I was a bit upset, she said u okay. I said sarcastically yes after you hurting me and making me bleed I seem to be okay, but in pain. She continued to rush on the pedicure and slowly stopped and took her time. This place is a no go. If you go don't ask for her. The only reason why I came here was because my usual nail salon is closed on Sundays. So props to them for being open on Sundays but I'll never come here again and I would never recommend this place to anyone. I am completely upset with the experience. I got here at 10am and they didn't start till 10:40! I said "please don't make them thick" and guess what? My nails are super thick, crooked, and curved! They are all different sizes and I had three different people working on me. They had be going back and forth, back and forth for over an hour. It was very annoying. I have been coming here for a couple of years. I get my nails done twice a month and if I ever I go somewhere else I always regret it. The ladies and gentlemen are so nice to me, my mom and sister that when we come in separately they ask me how my mom is or how my sister (how sweet is that right). But back to the nails I get pedicure with callous removal and acrylic gel nails and I pay $50 of course if I get a design it's a little more but $50 bucks for great service great work and great people is really a bargain. read more

NEVER AGAIN No one has their licenses up, but as a business, shouldn't you? I had an appointment that I made ahead of time before coming in. I asked for a full set with gel. I pretty much left with cotton fuzz on my nails still. My friend got chrome nails, but they gave her the wrong color. She got the opinion of another nail artist and she said the color was wrong as well and to ask for her to redo it . The owner who was doing my friends nails told her that the lady who designed the color she picked had left and they didn't know how to do it . My friend was upset because she could've just picked a different color at the beginning instead of having to go through that hassle. She just settled for glitter, but the glitter was applied on top on her coats of gel making her nails thick. At the end when we went to pay, the owner claimed she told my friend about the change and then proceeded to charge her the same amount minus ONE dollar because she didn't like it. If I wanted to have bunny hands and my friend wanted sparkles, then we would say so. I also came with a few others who weren't satiafied. Also, there is no posted prices anywhere. The lady owner itself, would raise prices here and there. 3 of us got the same things just different color, but they were different prices. I got the lady at the second table and my two friends got the owner. Neither asked if we liked it or not. My friend asked to get it redone. That was when the boss admitted that she didn't know how to do chrome nails because the one who did know how to do it doesn't work here anymore. She also doesn't know how to do matte nails. This place rips you off. They charge you based of off what and how you look. They also asked if we spoke Vietnamese, but we said no, so then they proceeded to converse. My real nails were pretty long and I asked for a file, she filed them down to nothing and used the file as if I had acrylic on. I'm really disappointed that I spent $52 for a gel mani and a pedi with callus remover that lasted 45 minutes.
