I came in to treat myself before my birthday. I was seated right away, which was nice. I sat down with a woman and showed her the nails I wanted for my birthday (the nails I provided in the second photo). She then told me she can do it and it would cost $54. She began to do my nails at 4:30pm. She finished at 6:55pm. Upon finishing, she proceeded to tell me "wow that took so long sorry that was my first time doing design" :/ UPDATE: I truly want to acknowledge how professionally this situation was handled afterward. The owner Kevin reached out to me immediately, showed genuine care and concern, and provided excellent customer service. Their kindness and willingness to address the experience made a significant difference. I also want to highlight Vivian, who assisted me during my visit. She was gentle, polite, and very kind, which I greatly appreciated. Her demeanor helped make the experience more comfortable and she did my nails exactly as wanted. The owner's prompt response and Vivian's professionalism demonstrated a commitment to customer satisfaction. The service is fine, but the front desk staff could be a bit more professional. The front desk girl was upset when I asked her if the station was clean, since a prior customer had left a used Starbucks cup at the station. The girl then proceeded to take the cup, roll her eyes, and make rude comment under her breath to another worker there. (I assume it was about me since the gentleman proceeded to look over at me.)This is the second time that the front staff had been less than professional. read more

Had come here as was chilling at the mall.. came as a walk in when it opened and was lucky to get a spot. This place is Great for a good mani pedi. The quality is amazing and quite place. You'd Expect a lot of hustle and bustle but this place is on the quieter side. For those who like that( it's great) don't look for anything hip. It does the job. The nail work is great! i went at the top of February and this is today 3/15. The nail splitting has been happening since removal. On all of my fingers. I do not have any vitamin or mineral deficiencies that should or would cause this. I spoke with my normal manicurist and she told me the enamel of my nail take off. Ruining the proteins/keratins that it produces. I wouldn't recommend or visit this place again. My tech was Joseph and while he was nice, he may require more training. OR maybe don't accept walk in's if you plan to comprise in quality. This is disheartening bc I typically get my nails done every 4.5 weeks. Now I've been slowly trimming them myself until they are healthy again. Hope this helps someone else. read more

I've been coming to this location for a couple of years. My go to nail tech is Joseph. He's nice, funny, and listens to my requests. I have really sensitive/thin skin on my feet and he's really careful not to make it bleed (unlike at other places I've been to). When I ask for a buff/shine, he does a thorough job and it's super shiny. Another tech who I love is Hanna. I have a lot of callus on my feet and she took the time and removed them way better than I ever could. I am so appreciative of that. My feet feel so much better. There are a few techs which rush through the appointments and does a messy job, so it can be a hit or miss. The place and very clean and the appointments are easy. They always place new plastic bags in the pedicure tub. Their towels are nice and soft, as well as clean. They have some supplies that are disposable so they didn't use those on other clients. Got mani/pedis with my daughter for a relaxing time together. The pedicurist kept saying something that I couldn't understand and then I ended up with callous treatment I hadn't asked for but was charged for. After, she kept following me, telling me to "pay cash". My daughter had the same issue but understood the callous treatment and said no. The manicures were fine. Found this place on yelp, close by work. I made an appt which was easy and painless. As soon as I walked in, the staff was saying stuff in their language. My co-worker and I picked the basic package for mani & pedi with gel polish added to both. The tech said we don't want to go beyond basic. Hence, this is my first time so I was afraid what if I'm not satisfied with my service I wouldn't want to be tortured for longer than I need to be. Every chance the techs can, they will comment and say bad things. They really need to keep their mouth shut because whether or not we speak their language, we can tell and unfortunately for them, I understood everything. My gel manicure was fine. A few of my finger nails didn't have an even top coat. I asked for the tech to just paint a layer of top coat and she said I was being difficult and why I didn't tell her earlier. I didn't notice my 1 finger not having an even layer of top coat because she put the cuticle oil on. Then I noticed and was thinking of just painting on my own at home, then I thought I'm paying over $45 for a mani, the least they can do is add a coat that the tech didn't do evenly! My gel pedi took longer than usual, even she was saying I was difficult, I didn't even asked for anything special. I picked a bright red and she was having a hard time painting and complained. I booked appts for my 13 yr old daughters to get a gel mani/ simple facial/eyebrow waxing ( they needed a confidence boost). You book online, so I saw the exact prices. We went in, it took sooooo long just for nails, and I feel like one of the technicians didn't know what she was doing, and needed constant advice. And it was constant battling about the length, they wanted my 13 yr olds with these daggers. It took about 2 hours for nails alone. After, When they rang me up, they charged me so much extra. I asked to see the bill, and they charged me for European Facial which was $95 not the $40 one I booked. I told them I booked the $40, and they said, the boss said give them the European. I told them that's not what I booked. They gave me hard time saying they pay for their own supplies and such. It was clearly such a racket. I had the email showing exactly what I booked and expected to pay for. The "Extra" charges for french were ridiculous. I will never go again. I was warned by friends about how much they overcharge, but thought it would be a special treat for my twins. After 2 weeks we went to my regular place, and they were done with their GelX nails in under an hour and did such a better job and half the price. read more

I WANT to like this place, my nails have been great both times I've been here, but not without inconvenience. The staff is generally friendly and the nail polish seems to be mostly undiluted. I'm writing this review because both times I have been took excessively long and caused me to be late to my next appointment both times. My second visit was a bad experience. I politely requested to skip the massage as a way to save time and many of them tried to tell me I had time for the +10 min it took, they didn't let it go and I had to be firm. The top coat on the fingers was not correct and never dried. I had to get my nails done twice and caused an additional 30 min to my timeline. The lady that messed it up was SO RUDE! I regret the tip I gave, as the service did not merit it. This time my nails didn't lasted less than a week before chipping. read more

It really depends on who you get. I have been going here for a few years for various services and have always had fantastic results. Recently, however, I visited with two others who both got acrylics sets. The one acrylic set was flawless and looked beautiful until removed a month later. The other person's acrylic set started losing nails after a day. When we went back in to complain, they replaced only the two nails that had come off rather than redoing the whole set. It was a little annoying that the two replacement nails were a different color and texture, but the really aggravating part was that all the other original nails fell off within the next two days, leaving only the two redone nails. Overall, a waste of money and time and an inadequate attempt to right poor service. read more

I have gotten 3 sets GelX nails here and for my first 2 times I couldn't have been happier! They were great nails and the people there were extremely nice with a super great vibe in there. But the most recent time I was there I was left quite unhappy. I don't remember the name of the person who did my service as she never gave it to me and acted as if I was an inconvenience to her. One of my nails was put on at an angle and not fixed and only noticed after I left and then another didn't even properly fit my nail. At the end of the service I struggled to find a payment option because they didn't accept my card (even though I've payed card before) and asked me to Venmo them which I don't have. I ended up having to Zelle them which made me weirded out because I Zelle'd a specific tech instead of the company itself. Overall I would highly recommend them but for my most recent experience I was left unhappy. Update: the owner promptly reached out to me to fix the issue and ensured that my experience was better this time! Best experience at a nail salon! I made an appt somewhere else initially and when I arrived, fortunately they overbooked themselves so it led me to finding another nail salon. And I'm so glad I found Holly and Hudson. Im leaving for a Mexico vacation in 2 days so needed to find a place that could take me asap and found Holly and Hudson. I called in hopes of making a last minute appt. For 7:45pm on a Thursday night and was greeted via phone by a gentleman who was very kind and accommodating and immediately eased my anxiety. Located inside Manhattan village shopping mall, I showed up for my 7:45pm appt and was treated like a Queen. I was given a massage chair while I waited for my techs and was very quickly seen by my fist tech, Kim who was providing a pedicure. Kim was very sweet and attentive and made sure I was comfortable. Even though I was arriving so late, I was treated with the same care as everyone else which i really appreciated. They provide a list of pedicure services and I asked for the "Rehydrate with Hudson" which is $60. It is listed as a 1.5 hour treatment and includes paraffin, moisture mask, scrub, 15 minute foot massage, etc. it was divine and worth every penny. Though $60 is not common for a pedicure, you're not just paying for a pedicure, you're paying for a treatment. Period. ;) Vivian who was so sweet as well, began working on my hands and at this point most nail techs and customers had left for the night. Even though it was close to closing, Vivian and Kim stayed late, for me. They promised they would provide the same care and not rush me out and I am SO appreciative, because they did just that. I'm so happy with how I was treated, with how the services went and with how my nails look! Even though I live 30 mins away, I promise I found my new go to nail salon.
