I'm quite disappointed that after 2 years since having my daughter i go get my nails done for the first time in a long time and had to pay for 160 + for a gel manicure. I also am pregnant and weeks away from giving birth these were supposed to be my baby nails and I was having a tough day with pregnancy and just wanted to give back to myself so all this was even more frustrating at the time. I heard this place was great because of the Russian manicure style, I've seen their ig, my clients go there as well and get great service, however... somehow it wasn't for me. I had high expectations considering 1. Russian manicure nail salon 2. Manhattan beach. Friday I called for an appt they said they could take me in at 615pm. At 603pm (when I was 5 min away) they told me if I can reschedule for 645p or Saturday because the tech was running late or something n like that. I said 645 was fine and she second guessed it and said tomorrow would be better I was like ok...I'll rearrange my schedule even though I'm basically here already. Come the next day, it's all cool until I ask for a design, but the nail tech kept trying to change my idea and what I wanted. She kept trying to get me to cat eye on all my hands and then not and it was just a while back and forth thing. I've seen them do the type of nail designs I was asking for so idk why it was so complicated to just ask for what I wanted. At this point I was like ok I'll just trust the process. My nails were decently long enough and I wanted my nails square /round at the corners twice. My nails were filed down all the way and it looks like I bite my finger nails now. They did not look like this. I think what shocked me the most and mind you i KNOW the price range for the gel mani design that I asked for. This was $160 + I left her a tip on top of that. To be quite honest, I called up some other places i typically go to sent them a picture of my nails and asked for price and I was shocked they said about $110-120. One said 96. These are all reputable places without the "Russian manicure" statement. The nails are cute but the fact that my nails are filed all the way down, was rescheduled last minute when I was there 5min away, and didn't get the design that I wanted is unfair.. with what I got done and how my nails look I honestly could have done this at maybe some "lower end" spot. These were supposed to be my "baby nails" (newborn incoming) and Now I have to deal with growing my nails out and keeping this nail set until I am recovered from giving birth. I'm sure they provide great service to other people but not sure what happened with what I asked for. I would not come here again and spend this much again. read more

After being influenced by social media about how GREAT Russian manicures were, I thought I would give it a try and see if it lived up to the hype. Booking was a breeze. I booked thru their Instagram page and got a response with available times within minutes. I booked in the evening for the next morning and she managed to get me an appointment. The moment I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the receptionist and offered something to drink. I was a bit early but my technician was ready for me to be seated. After sitting she took a look at my nails and asked what I had in mind for my nails. I showed her some inspo pictures and she complimented how beautiful the inspo was and went ahead and started. Every instrument/ tool she used was fresh out of those sterilizing packages so that was comforting to see. She was so precise at cleaning up my cuticles, and made small talk to get to know me. She also checked in every step to make sure I was comfortable and happy with the progress. She did not try to upsell me with anything, it didn't feel rushed and my nails came out exactly how I wanted. After the service she educated me on the importance of hydrating my hands/ nails with lotion and cuticle oil to help my manicure last longer and stay healthy. That manicure lasted me about 4 weeks (it could've lasted longer if I didn't want to change the color already) and it did not chip or look dull. I have been back a few times since and each technician I book with has been amazing. read more

They always have time and are always really quick to respond with appointment times. I am super picky when it comes to my manicures and pedicures, and I'm so happy I finally found this amazing place! I've been coming to Noor Nail Bar regularly for over a year, and the quality of their work is consistently excellent. The technicians are incredibly thorough, detail-oriented, and truly take their time to make sure everything looks perfect. My nail tech, Misoo, did such a nice job on my nails. We found the perfect nude for the colored French mani I wanted. This was my first time getting a dry Russian mani and I found the experience quite enjoyable, though I can see how some might not like the sensation of the dry manicuring. I really liked it and it felt therapeutic but I also enjoy going to the dentist!! I am also very picky about the shape of my nails; usually I have to explicitly ask the nail tech to shape a certain way but I didn't have to do that with Misoo. She just somehow knew what would look best with my fingers and nails and just executed flawlessly. That never happens for me, haha. It's expensive ($110 for a hard gel mani+$25 for French) but the quality is there, and I feel like my mani will last longer and I won't have to get nails done as much but will see! It's hard to find really high quality manicurists in the South Bay so I am happy to have finally tried this place, as I think I may have found my new spot. If you are looking for a clean, modern place to get your manicures, and want a classy polished end result look no further! Overall I loved the end result from Misoo, she was super sweet and very efficient while also being extremely Detail-oriented. After reading so many great reviews, I decided to give them a try and they did not disappoint! The girl at the front desk was incredibly kind and welcoming. She introduced me to Maral, who did my Russian manicure. Maral was professional, patient, and very detail-oriented. She never made me feel rushed and took the time to help me choose the perfect color by testing a few different shades on my nails. I came in with long acrylic nails, and she carefully trimmed them down to the perfect length. She shaped them beautifully, and they now look so natural and elegant. She worked efficiently while still paying close attention to every detail it was the perfect balance. I absolutely love the color, shape, and length of my nails. There's better out there! My friend and I came here because it was closer to us instead of going to our usual place. There's no reason for our nails to be chipped -- just one week later. If I'm paying this much for my nails, I would assume it's not going to chip that quickly (like a gel polish). One of the girls who worked on my friend also tried to upsell her for a "harder gel" for an additional $20. I'm already paying $110 for a hard gel, what do you mean a "harder gel?" I got my first pedicure here a few months ago, which was also my first pedicure ever at 24, and it has since become the part of my monthly routine that I look forward to the most. I was excited to treat myself and booked a Gel-X set here. At $130, I knew it was expensive, but the salon looked beautiful and professional, so I expected high-quality work. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with the results. It seemed like the technician was not experienced with Gel-X. The tips were the wrong size for several of my nails, many were applied crooked, and there was so much glue that parts of my fingertips were literally glued to the nails. The polish application was also very sloppy, with uneven edges and an overall messy finish. I was so unhappy with how they turned out that I went straight to a different nail salon afterward. They told me the nails had been applied incorrectly and had to completely remove the entire set and start over from scratch. That meant paying for a second full Gel-X service on top of the $130 I had already spent. For the price, I expected much better attention to detail and a technician who was properly trained in Gel-X application. While the salon itself is beautiful, my experience did not reflect the quality or professionalism I expected. read more

I can't recommend this nail salon due to the quality, service, and cost. I had my nails done yesterday for an international trip and my birthday. Today, one of the nails has fully lifted. They offered to fix the nail when I return from the trip, but that defeats the purpose of why I chose to get the manicure in the first place. I cannot have it fixed before the trip as we leave early tomorrow, which was their initial offer. They have refused a refund even though they advertise manicures lasting up to 5 weeks... I paid $148.71 for the service, which included a $10 tip. I normally tip higher, but my nail beds were handled very roughly and it looks like I am missing a chunk of skin on my ring finger. Beyond disappointing experience and will not be returning. Save your money. read more

If I could give this place a no star review, I would. I started going to Noor September 2025 because a coworker recommended it to me and I had been in the hunt some something that would actually last me . Coworker recommended the "expert" technician Natalia, and you pay extra for her being an expert so I had high hopes. The first visit everything went perfect everyone was super nice and I got exactly what I asked for just a simple sage cat eye (although their "Cat eye" skills can improve) and in fact they did last 5 weeks. By the third visit I came to the realization "expert" did not mean what I thought it did. Every time I showed something to Natalia for nail inspiration she would say she didn't do that, so I would settle for another simple color. Mind you, it was simple designs like marble effect, and ombré. On the 5th visit Natalia started giving me stank faces on what I wanted and that's when I started realizing wait a minute who's paying you or me?! I also realized she simply did not want to struggle, it was t that she didn't know she just didn't feel like doing the design. I tried scheduling with another "expert" technician Maral, and when a I got there they just put me with Natalia again, and said it was because that's who I usually go with. Maybe I'm at fault for being so forgiving because I didn't like confrontation, but I didn't question it and just accepted it. On the 6th appointment they informed me Natalia was not going to be able to make my appointment and if I wanted to go with Kris another "expert" technician, I agreed because it was the only time I had, boy do I regret that decision. I showed technician inspo pic and she not once said she couldn't do it, she agreed and I clarified that what I wanted was blooming gel. I don't want to bore you with details but I will insert the inspo vs what I ended up with. I was not happy, but she took over two hours and I didn't have the time to talk then and there to them about it. I chose to send a direct message to the instagram page where I booked appointments and after 24 hrs of them seeing it I did not get a response, so I sent the same message over to their phone number where they texted me from and still no answer. I decided to let it go for the time being. To my un fortune the thumb nail lifted in a week and was uncomfortable and I had to go in on an emergency visit, I don't even know who helped me but, but I had never seen her in the shop, I said she can't be that bad, so I decided to give her a try. Boy was I wrong, she made a hole in my finger with the drill , the har gel was twice as thick as it needed to be , and she kept making blobs on my nails from the topcoat, immidately after I left all the nails started lifting! You'd think I was lying but I Wii insert pictures as well. being that my past complain was ignored, I did not want to adress this, it was my fault for giving them a second chance and I decided it was time to move on, and basically loose out on 130 dollars . I usually don't write reviews but if someone decides to take the time and read this review I hope it helps to Save your money and avoid the attitudes from technicians. So disappointed. I saw this company on Instagram where they are heavily pushing their services. I reached out and, after leaving a deposit, I drove to Manhattan Beach for my 3:20 appointment. When I got there exactly at 3:20, the receptionist said that she was just getting ready to text me to let me know the manicurist is running late. I asked when she will be available and she said to come back at 3:35, which I did. When I got back, the manicurist was not ready for me - she had a nail emergency (a nail emergency????), so I sat for a while and then asked for my deposit to be returned. I hope I get my deposit back. I don't understand how these companies ask for a deposit for their services and then not provide the services at the time you scheduled. It shows a lack off respect for your clients. The place was packed though, so I am just some new client who can (and will) go elsewhere. read more

I had been to this salon several times, but unfortunately my last experience was extremely disappointing. After the manicure and pedicure I ended up with severe pain: I couldn't wear closed shoes because of an inflamed toe, and on my hand the cuticle became infected. When I reached out to them about this issue, their "solution" was to tell me to use hydrogen peroxide and offer me a discount for my next visit. I would probably not even raise this further if they had responded right away, but the fact that I had to remind them to get an answer shows that their level of customer service leaves much to be desired. I find this response completely unprofessional. Experienced technicians do not cut the cuticle to the point of bleeding or causing infection. Instead of taking responsibility, they offered $50 and $10 discounts. But I obviously don't need it. read more

I sent them a picture of my nails and I told them how upset I was. They totally understood and the manager told me that they owe me a free manicure next time. Which I thought was a fair deal, this was all msgs on instagram.When I arrived to NY, I went to a nail saloon and redid my nails. I came to Noor saloon 4 weeks after, before my appointment I informed the lady at the desk about the situation and showed her the msgs that say they owe me a free manicure and she agreed. Got my nails done and everything went smoothly. However the owner contacted me and she told me that she never agreed for a free service, and the msgs that were sent to me was by the manger.. but she disagreed with the manager. Long story short she insisted on my paying.. then she said how about 50% of the amount.. I told her sorry I wont pay. This was all instagram msgs. Then I think she understood OR gave up and told me that even though she does not think this is right and I should not have taken a free manicure!! Soooooo unprofessional. Before going to this salon I sent them a picture and confirmed with the manager 3 times to make sure they are able to handle 3D nail art. She assured me that they could. After 3+ hours of being in the chair the nail tech tells me she can't finish my requested design because they do not have the materials for 3D nail art. When I said I wanted to speak with a manager she gave me an attitude and the manager tried to convince me to stick an ugly nail sticker down instead. When I said I wanted to remove the incomplete design and put a single color, the nail tech aggressively filed off the color and stormed off to the back room to cry (which I felt bad about, but I don't want to pay $180 for nails that are nothing like what I requested). They had someone else quickly apply the color but she didn't even put a base coat down first until I requested it. They also charged me extra for something that the original girl said she was going to throw in for free. My nails the second time were rushed and terribly executed. I still have some of the white polish from the original design showing. And they made me feel terrible for requesting to have something I would actually be ok wearing. What a waste of my time, energy and money. Instead of feeling pampered and joyous when leaving I feel just awful. I cannot stress enough to never step foot into this business. read more

I'm a regular here. My hard gel mani and gel pedi consistently lasts 5-6 weeks. I only need to go back because my nails grow out. Kristina for mani and Tanya for pedi are my favorite. There is a cultural difference, which explains the misunderstandings of some of the other reviews. It is different than any other nail place I've been to and that's a good thing! Noor nail and the technicians mentioned provide the most detailed and considerate services for me. I'm so grateful to them! Always exciting to do new fun designs. Chairs are a little uncomfortable for me with long service time due to detail work but my nails look the best they ever have. Good ladies work here. read more
