I went to get my nails done at Noor maybe 4-5 times. But the last time I went it was the worst! I was traveling to a wedding in NY and decided to get my nails done one day before traveling at the Manhattan Beach location CA. The next day 2 of my gel manicure got chipped! I sent them a picture of my nails and I told them how upset I was. They totally understood and the manager told me that they owe me a free manicure next time. Which I thought was a fair deal, this was all msgs on instagram.When I arrived to NY, I went to a nail saloon and redid my nails. I came to Noor saloon 4 weeks after, before my appointment I informed the lady at the desk about the situation and showed her the msgs that say they owe me a free manicure and she agreed. Got my nails done and everything went smoothly. However the owner contacted me and she told me that she never agreed for a free service, and the msgs that were sent to me was by the manger.. but she disagreed with the manager. Long story short she insisted on my paying.. then she said how about 50% of the amount.. I told her sorry I wont pay. This was all instagram msgs. Then I think she understood OR gave up and told me that even though she does not think this is right and I should not have taken a free manicure!! Soooooo unprofessional. I can't recommend this nail salon due to the quality, service, and cost. I had my nails done yesterday for an international trip and my birthday. Today, one of the nails has fully lifted. They offered to fix the nail when I return from the trip, but that defeats the purpose of why I chose to get the manicure in the first place. I cannot have it fixed before the trip as we leave early tomorrow, which was their initial offer. They have refused a refund even though they advertise manicures lasting up to 5 weeks... I paid $148.71 for the service, which included a $10 tip. I normally tip higher, but my nail beds were handled very roughly and it looks like I am missing a chunk of skin on my ring finger. Beyond disappointing experience and will not be returning. Save your money. read more

This is hands down the best nail salon in South Bay LA. The receptionist Ais is very welcoming and regularly asked if you wanted anything to drink. I've had both Angie and Anastasia as nail techs and they were fabulous. Given my experience I would say you could get any nail tech here and would get the highest quality of manicures. read more

Before going to this salon I sent them a picture and confirmed with the manager 3 times to make sure they are able to handle 3D nail art. She assured me that they could. After 3+ hours of being in the chair the nail tech tells me she can't finish my requested design because they do not have the materials for 3D nail art. When I said I wanted to speak with a manager she gave me an attitude and the manager tried to convince me to stick an ugly nail sticker down instead. When I said I wanted to remove the incomplete design and put a single color, the nail tech aggressively filed off the color and stormed off to the back room to cry (which I felt bad about, but I don't want to pay $180 for nails that are nothing like what I requested). They had someone else quickly apply the color but she didn't even put a base coat down first until I requested it. They also charged me extra for something that the original girl said she was going to throw in for free. My nails the second time were rushed and terribly executed. I still have some of the white polish from the original design showing. And they made me feel terrible for requesting to have something I would actually be ok wearing. What a waste of my time, energy and money. Instead of feeling pampered and joyous when leaving I feel just awful. I cannot stress enough to never step foot into this business. read more

I had been to this salon several times, but unfortunately my last experience was extremely disappointing. After the manicure and pedicure I ended up with severe pain: I couldn't wear closed shoes because of an inflamed toe, and on my hand the cuticle became infected. When I reached out to them about this issue, their "solution" was to tell me to use hydrogen peroxide and offer me a discount for my next visit. I would probably not even raise this further if they had responded right away, but the fact that I had to remind them to get an answer shows that their level of customer service leaves much to be desired. I find this response completely unprofessional. Experienced technicians do not cut the cuticle to the point of bleeding or causing infection. Instead of taking responsibility, they offered $50 and $10 discounts. But I obviously don't need it. read more

I'm a regular here. My hard gel mani and gel pedi consistently lasts 5-6 weeks. I only need to go back because my nails grow out. Kristina for mani and Tanya for pedi are my favorite. There is a cultural difference, which explains the misunderstandings of some of the other reviews. It is different than any other nail place I've been to and that's a good thing! Noor nail and the technicians mentioned provide the most detailed and considerate services for me. I'm so grateful to them! Always exciting to do new fun designs. The technician didn't open a sterilized tool pack in front of me--when I questioned it, she left and admitted they had no clean tools. She ended up borrowing a set from another tech, who made a snarky comment like, "What, would she just leave if we didn't have any?" Yes--100%. Basic cleanliness and safety should never be optional. The service was rough, my skin was ripped, and I was told it was because I'm "too sensitive." Seriously? And the final nail shape was awful--uneven and nothing like a proper Russian pedicure. Ok, not a great experience for the price, plus, cuticle injuries. New-ish spot that popped up next to my favorite coffee spot (Pure Bean) in South Bay, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I had been going to a studio in Koreatown for years, but can no longer justify the drive outside of special occasion nails. Initially, I went in for Gel X but was talked about getting a hard gel manicure that my natural nails can grow into. I wanted a sheer, nude pink, and the hard gel came in that color, so I didn't choose an additional polish. I'm familiar with Russian-style manicures, but unfortunately, the tech nicked my cuticles down to the skin where it bled on 3/10 fingers and had to use the liquid styptic to stop them from bleeding, and I'm not sure why, but on one of them she kept pressing a wooden cuticle pusher with the ointment deeper into the wound, which is still tender 3 hours after service. Outside of injuring multiple nails, my tech was sweet, and they do look nice overall, but for $115 for the manicure plus an additional cash tip, I'm not sure it was worth it. I have small nail beds and have had techs nick me, but not on three whole fingers, so I don't know what happened. read more

Honestly the best manicure I ever have received BUT I have thick cuticles and thin nails. I can't grow my nails long because they are too thin. My cuticles get very hard and dry and when they are trimmed with a standard manicure I tend to get hang nails, bleed from over trimming, and need to be trimmed again within a week or two. My nail beds are stronger and cuticles stay smoother longer with the Russian manicure. I wish it wasn't so expensive but it is honestly much better than standard manicures IMO. I also treat myself to gel pedicures from them and they do an excellent job. read more
