Here's a polished, genuine 5-star review you could post: After having a terrible experience at another nail salon, I came to Nailspa Excel hoping someone could fix the mess--and they absolutely delivered. They took the time to carefully correct my previous Gel-X set instead of rushing through the appointment, and the final result looks beautiful. The staff was professional, patient, and paid attention to detail. I really appreciated that they listened to what I wanted and made sure I left happy. It's clear they take pride in their work and care about their customers. If you're looking for a salon that can not only create great nails but also rescue a bad set from somewhere else, I highly recommend Nailspa Excel. Great first time experience. I wanted to try a place closer to my home. Found Nailspa excel and appreciated the good reviews. I arrived a few min before opening and they were already taking customers. That was perfect for me because I was on a time crunch. I got seated right away and Scarlett helped me. She was so sweet and communicative. I really appreciated that she wanted my toes and feet to look great. She did a great job and I will be back to see her. Salon is spacious and plenty of stations. This was my first time here, I came here to have a mini spa day with my daughter and I gotta say I am truly impressed and so happy with the service. The nail techs are so nice and understanding with me since it's been awhile since I've gotta my nails and toes done. I didn't know what I wanted really and Scarlett (my nail techs) helped me to finally decide. I'm definitely gonna make this my spot. I would do more stars but Yelp won't let me do more than 5.

If you want to have a good pedicure spa service, this is a good place to go. Reasonable price with good experience, I love they use some fruit to massage my feet and remove dead skin. The chair is massage chair, which was also enjoyable.

Since there is no reply button, I will just add information here. I called in and gave the information and asked if there was anything that could be done because I was very disappointed as well as in pain! I was not rude. I explained that I did not live in the area and I had to leave and I was told the only thing to do was to come in and you would handle it, therefore I did come in. And you were very dismissive of me after just saying that she would fix the toenails. I didn't demand a refund. I asked if I could get a partial refund. And I did not threaten to leave a negative review. I just said I would leave a review. Which is exactly what I did. I even told you that you were welcome to pull up the camera footage as you threatened to do stating that I told you that I was already hurt before I came in. But you ignored me. read more

Expertise here is like nobody else I have ever been to in my life. Tan's expertise, attention to detail, and quality of work cannot be compared and I have been getting my nails done for several decades now, one might say I'm a bit picky lol. I've been coming to Nail Excel for over 3 years getting powder dip done on my natural nails. I'm able to come every 4-5 weeks now because of how well Tan does my nails. They are not only beautifully shaped, they are so strong and durable. I shouldn't admit this but these are the best tools in my tool kit! No screw driver necessary when with the strongest, perfectly shaped nail. I promise you, you will know what I'm talking about if you come to Nail Excel, especially with Tan's expertise. I have officially found my favorite new nail spot! The hospitality of this location was incredible. Be prepared for a wait for a reason they're so attentive to detail and first location that doesn't cut me while doing my nails. The price is perfect for their work got a set of full acrylics with extra designs such as French tip, pokadots, and bows even that look wonderful and a full gel pedicure for just 135! I had been going to a local nail salon that was closest to my home and had been extremely unsatisfied with my results. The owner was the only one that did a decent job. I came into this salon as a walk in and was very impressed. Not only did my manicurest do a great job, she also was careful not to cut me with the drill like the last place. I was definitely due for a new set of gel x nails because the set I had was just embarrassing. Karina put on a new set of gel x nails and I got a gel pedicure to accompany. I didn't get the name of the lady who did my pedicure, but she was awesome as well! She really did a good job getting all of the dead, dry skin. Another thing I noticed and enjoyed about this salon is their prices! I got upgrades and the prices are beyond fair for the quality of service you receive. Scarlett did an incredible job correcting a terrible nail job I had received at another salon. She was meticulous, and professional. I have now been coming for 8 months consistently since I moved to the area. It took me a year and then some to find a nail spa that I truly will go to forever. They always do exactly what I ask and then some. They are reasonably priced if not underpriced for how quality the nails are. I've had almost everyone at the salon do my nails but I am now a consistent client of Angel. She now does gel x on my nails which has lasted the longest and felt the thickest between regular gel, acrylics, and dip. I have so many photos of how amazing my nails have been but Angel truly outdid herself for my birthday nails this month. These baby's are hand painted(done in less than an hour and a half) and have lasted through me snowboarding, constantly smacking my nails and hands on everything, and even lasted through me clumsily slamming the car door on my hand! Absolutely amazing! read more

My usual nail person/shop was booked on a day I really needed it but I got referred to Angel at Nailspa Excel. I've been here ever since. Angel definitely makes sure I leave the salon happy. She's quick to mix colors so it's custom to my liking. I usually get dip or gelx. We talk about all the things so it makes the appt fun. I haven't tried any other nail tech here. I usually try to have Carina or Megan for my gel pedicure. Pricing is reasonable. This is my new nail shop as long as Angel is here. read more

Even though it's on the smaller side, it's honestly one of the best Korean spas I've been to. Most of the staff spoke Mandarin, but everyone was friendly and welcoming. For only $40 (6 hr limit), I left feeling so much more relaxed. When you first arrive, you'll be given wristbands for your lockers and clothes to change into. Once you enter the gender-specific changing area, phones are not allowed. You'll also need to be completely unclothed while using the showers, jacuzzis, and steam rooms, which is standard for Korean spas. If you're not comfortable with that, you can skip those areas and head straight to the main lounge, where phones are allowed. The lounge has several heated rooms along with one cold room, making it a great place to unwind. One thing I'd ask is to please be respectful and keep your voice down since everyone is there to relax. The cafeteria was another highlight! It serves some of the best Korean food I've had at a spa. It's a little on the pricey side, but I highly recommend the seafood pancake. It was absolutely delicious, and their banchan (side dishes) were delicious. Next time, I'd love to come back and try some of the additional spa services!

He concentrated on all of my problem areas and I felt happy and relaxed afterwards. The quiet room is clean and comfy and I was given a tasty little fruit cup. Now the bad: The price for a massage is reasonable, but you must pay an additional 39.00 if you want a to use their lockers or robe, take a shower or use the jacuzzi. This was unexpected and confusing. Before arriving, I had called for clarification of this policy and was only told that they would charge 39.00 for use of the jacuzzi. I had no idea that I wouldn't be given a robe or allowed to shower without paying the extra fee. I'm in a spa club and I have never run into this issue before. This confusion may have been due to a language barrier. The shower area has a sign saying that you must run the hot water for 10-15 minutes to obtain hot water (!). I did so and still had to take a cold shower because the water never got hot. The only towels available are very small and very thin. They are not large enough to wrap around your body. The jacuzzi area shows deferred maintenance with broken tile, missing robe hooks and mold/mildew on the ceiling between the jacuzzi and the showers (ick). I debated writing this review for a long time. This happened a few years ago when the business was…read morenew, and I originally didn't want to hurt a small business, but the experience has stuck with me. During my first visit (around the COVID period), I was given a promotional card for a large discount if I came back soon. It honestly seemed too good to be true, but I returned a few days later to use it. When I got there, they suddenly said the promotion didn't apply and that I had to pay full price. It was the same employee who gave me the card, and he even called his boss, but the explanation kept changing. In the end, they refused to honor the promotion they gave me. I still went through with the appointment because I already felt awkward leaving. After multiple add-ons and charges, the total came out to over $400 for the facial and services. The services themselves were average at best, and they were extremely pushy about a large tip afterward. The whole experience felt like shady business practices, misleading promotions, pressure to spend more, and pressure to tip big. The spa environment itself was also pretty unappealing and felt more like a warehouse than a relaxing spa. Overall, it left a very bad impression. I'll never return.

This review is directed specifically at Tan, the business owner, who intentionally overcharged me, displaying a complete disregard for communication, professionalism, and honesty. If I could give this salon -10 stars, I would do so gleefully. Tan, your behavior as a business owner is nothing short of appalling and it's time that you enroll in some basic classes on business ethics, customer service, and professionalism. This was my second visit to the salon, and it will certainly be my last. Furthermore, I will actively discourage all my friends from setting foot in your establishment and instead urge them to seek out businesses where their patronage is valued and respected. Earlier in the day, I called to book appointments for myself, my sister, and my mother. During the booking process, I specifically inquired about the prices for each service. I was quoted $27 for basic pedicures (for myself and my sister) and a total of $62 for my mother's services ($35 for a gel manicure and $27 for a pedicure). Imagine my utter shock when I was presented with a bill totaling $119 for my mother's services alone. Not a single person in the salon mentioned any additional charges beforehand. I was overcharged for every aspect of the service, including shape, length, and a $30 fee for the removal of a prior gel mani pedi, without any prior notice. Furthermore, Tan neglected to inform us that the gel color we chose only came in powder form, resulting in an additional charge. When I confronted Tan and requested a breakdown of the pricing, he became defensive and emotional, claiming this is his standard practice. However, I have never encountered a nail salon that charged such exorbitant fees without prior notification. In other service industries, such as fast food establishments, customers are informed of additional charges before they are incurred. Had I been given the opportunity to accept or reject these charges beforehand, I would have made a different decision. In conclusion, my experience at your salon was nothing short of a nightmare. Your deceitful tactics, lack of professionalism and communication, and complete disregard for integrity have left a bitter taste in my mouth. I implore anyone reading this review to steer clear of this salon, unless, of course, you enjoy being subjected to unethical business practices and unreasonable charges. **UPDATE AS OF BUSINESS OWNER'S RESPONSE: the business owner alleges that he reported us to the police dept. LOL reported me for what--asking questions, writing a negative review, warning other patrons? I paid for me and my mom's services ($147 receipt attached) and my sister, who paid separately, tipped your employee generously. Tam, it's pathetically ironic and hypocritical of you to assume we come from another country when you yourself are an Asian immigrant business owner who cannot speak fluent English. This is why we had miscommunication in the first place. I was never rude to you nor did I raise my voice. As a paying customer, I have every right to ask questions about my bill when being overcharged in the end without prior notice or communication. But anyways, GO ahead and "report" me lol. I hope that helps you sleep better at night. As previously mentioned, I will never attend your banal business establishment again.
