Her and I had clear conversation as I was considering switching to membership vs single service . I ended up getting a membership and after a few services realized their spray tan product was actually causing skin acne /rash. I reached out to cancel my membership and they told me the 3 credits I had on file were now gone. This was the opposite of what I had been told. They charge for a membership which guarantees a certain amount of credits then are no longer usable once the membership is cancelled. The company is taking money for providing NOTHING to the customer. This makes zero sense. The credits for cancelled memberships don't even stay active for any period. This company is so unethical. The employees spray tanning also say a "a 20% tip is highly recommended " then proceed to charge 20% on the single service price not the membership price. Ive requested a refund on my credit card and they refused, I requested they credit 3 sessions on my account and they refused. I hope to warn others to be very cautious. I will never give my business to a company like this.

I typically avoid writing negative reviews for businesses because I understand that everyone can have a bad day in their professional life. However, I feel compelled to share my experience with this salon, as I have given them multiple chances to rectify their mistakes, but unfortunately, they have failed to do so. One of the main issues I encountered was the excessive wait time, regardless of whether I had booked an appointment in advance or not. It seemed that they did not value my time at all and were only focused on receiving payment in cash or via Venmo. Furthermore, the quality of their services was inconsistent, depending on sheer luck on any given day. There was no guarantee that I would receive what I had asked for. As evidenced by the attached photos, my gel pedicure and manicure started deteriorating within just a week. I immediately contacted the management to express my disappointment and concern, and they assured me that they would rectify the situation once the nail technician returned from her trip to Vegas. However, when I tried to schedule another appointment, they conveniently avoided fulfilling their promise. To summarize, if you happen to have extra time and money to spare, this salon might not pose a significant issue. However, I personally cannot recommend it based on my experiences and the lack of accountability displayed by their staff. If you're considering a new salon, it may be worth exploring other options that prioritize customer satisfaction and provide consistent and quality services. read more

my first time going and i will NEVER go back. such a bizarre and terrible experience. not only were they NOT clean, it was so incredibly loud. i got into a chair right away (by the rude receptionist who didn't even look up from her desk when i walked in, until i stood there long enough to get her attention). they stared working on my mani/pedi, while ALL the girls in there working were chatting in a foreign language, yelling across the room to one another, it was not peaceful. not to mention the poor lady next to me was getting her lip waxed IN HER PEDICURE CHAIR in front of everyone, and the technician was dipping the same stick in the bowl of hot wax over and over and over.............also using that same bowl of wax on other people. CONTAMINATION. after she put lotion on my arms and gave a quick massage, she dipped a towel in the FOOT SPA and wiped my arms with it............... that is disgusting. and she cut one of my cuticles to make it bleed! when it came time to pay, i asked if she could add a tip on there (...what was i even thinking trying to add a tip? ), and she said NO! and directed me to their ATM to get charged a fee just to give them four bucks. oh and come to find out later, they over charged me, after getting on their website to see a mani pedi combo is $30 and i got charged $37. you couldn't pay me to go back. read more

This is more like a 3.75 review. Went here for the first time today- I don't have my nails done very often, but wanted to feel pretty. The positives are that it seems very clean, the employees work super fast (but neat) and I have to say the price was right- I only paid $35 for a mani-pedi before tip, including the callus removal which is extra. That's a pretty good deal in my book. I will definitely go back for the price. And they don't try to upsell you the whole time, which is great. The negatives: the parking is very limited, as other reviews have mentioned. Also, I was with a friend that speaks Vietnamese fluently and the ladies talk some major trash here. Now, I'm not a sensitive person, I sort of assumed that no matter what nail salon I went to, they were gossiping, but its different when you know it for a fact. Among other things, they apparently complained about the tip I gave them, even though it was 20%. Oh, and they only take cash tips, even if you pay with a credit/debit card. They have an ATM in the store, but that's just annoying. So, don't go for the nice people, go for the quick, clean service and good price. read more

I've always heard people talk about how rude the owner is, but I never realized it until now. I made an appointment for a mani and pedi and I specifically requested Courtney and Lien. Courtney was about 10 min late and the other one came in 30 min late. After noticing that I was upset Courtney said "I'm not that late just 10min!" instead of apologizing. I waited for 30 min and I made my appointment two days in advance. After I spoke with the manager and it she told me that their appointments don't guarantee you a spot or the technician that you requested?!?!?! Then why do we make appointments?!?! Horrible customer service! The owner's attitude and words are as if she doesn't need any customers, which is strange because the last couple of times I've been to Nailtique the shop was empty. I am undecided on how I feel about this place. I love their selection of gel colors (glitter glitter glitter), And it did stay for a long time!!! And the lady who did my nail was sweet but the pros... 1. expensive. This place is def pricey for a pedicure and gel manicure. 2. you have to tip paying cash. there is an atm right there but it charges you an arm and a leg and its now almost 2014, we can pay tip on credit cards. 3. They do your cuticles etc AFTER they do the gel polish. I hate that. I like when they do it first like other places and after do the polish when everything is clean. 4. NO MASSAGE. they don't massage you after your manicure. If they are charing you so much for it, where is the massage. I have yet to go back and don't know if I will because of the pro's. read more

Located in a busy shopping center, on the corner of Jamboree and Michelson. Parking is a bear, don't go at lunch hours. Weekends much better. It's upstairs. I've been going for over 10 years. I have gone other places, but always come back. Have been going to Judy for years. Very good, fast, speaks perfect English. I get a Pink & White. She can do my nails in 45mins. Price is very good too. I also get the ped in the spa chair, very relaxing, everyone there is good. They take their time and don't try to get you on add ons. One of lowest price in town. The owner is is Nina and she is very nice, always comes around and talks to you. Very clean. I have never had a problem there. They do take walk In's but if you want Judy for a fill you need a appt, she books up way in advance. read more

I came here because it was recommended to me. First of all, parking....is awful! The lot is super busy and hectic and they are located upstairs. Getting in and out isn't all that convenient. I got a mani/pedi with gell on my nails. I was happy that they carried OPI gel and had the matching polish for my toes. The girl who did my pedicure rushed the entire thing, nothing special about it that would make me come back. It even started chipping after a week which never happens on my toes. My nails were better although they werent filed as short as I asked. I also didnt like that they removed the previous gel with the electric file, just seems more damaging on the nails to me. Over all experience was ok but the prices were a high for just "ok" so I wont be coming back. read more

I am very picky with my nails. I've been getting my nails done every two weeks for over 10 years. I love Joyce for gel manicure and Donna for a pedicure. Joyce is a perfectionist and a pleasure to see. She shapes my nails flawlessly, she gets rid of my cuticles so my nail beds look fresh and clean , she paints the polish on with precision so that it's perfectly even AND the polish stays beautiful for over 2 weeks. I just started going to Donna and I'm never going back to anyone else. She does an awesome job with pedicures. The polish and design stay perfect until the next cost. I ABSOLUTELY love this salon! I have been a client for over 6 years and have been really happy with the waxing and mani/pedi services. I have been to countless nail salons, I'm always happier with the service that I receive at Nailtique. Everytime I leave Nailtique, my nails look impeccable and my mani/pedi last for such a long time! They also do a great job with waxing! Sandy, who does my waxing is FABULOUS! Top of the line wax is used here and those of you with sensitive skin-this is the place to go for your waxing needs. I find that the prices are cheaper than what other salons charge. I visited Nailtique in Newport Beach hoping for a quality gel manicure, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The service felt very unprofessional, and the technician seemed inexperienced with gel application. During the appointment, my cuticles were cut improperly, causing discomfort, and bleeding and the product used--whether builder gel or dip--quickly peeled off, ultimately damaging my nail. When I raised my concerns, the staff did not take responsibility or offer any resolution. I'm disappointed with the outcome and won't be returning. I'd recommend looking elsewhere for a more skilled and professional nail salon. read more

This is a 5 star nail salon. It is always busy. I have been coming here for over 5 years now. Parking isn't all that great but the nail selection is defiantly worth it. They have a million colors to choose from in gel polish as well. I always get a gel manicure and a pedicure and they do a fantastic job. They can usually get you right in without a long wait because they have so many nail technician. I would recommend you at least try this nail salon at least once because I know you will be hooked. Will never come back to this place again! First, everything I asked her to fix on my acrylic set she argued with. She wasn't painting my whole nail, I had ask her to re-paint 4 to 5 nails because of this. Okay, so then I pay with a card and I tell her I don't have cash for the tip so I will go to the bank and come back. She must of not believed that I would come back because when I checked my bank statement after she gave herself an $11 tip! Just got a pedicure from Nailtique, and I was impressed! The place was clean, girly and *buzzing* on a weekday afternoon! I felt like I was just hanging out with the girls, who are very sweet and accommodating, by the way. It was a good, solid pedicure, with callus removal and buffing, came out to be $28...few bucks less than average for Irvine. Ask for Angel, she's very thorough, but all the girls seemed pretty good. This place is busy ! I went one night after work and was told that they were too busy to fit me in but could fit the next person after me in even though we both didn't have any appointment. I had walked out the door as the other customer was walking in. This place is the best! I live in RSM and don't mind passing MANY other salons to get to my favorite spot - Nailtique. I see Lisa ~ but many of the girls are talented here. Love Nailtique! Vanessa is the BEST! Im super picky/obsessed w/my nails and no matter where i go i always have to file and fix them myself when i get home..except with her. I've been getting my nails done at this salon since 2003! I started going to Nailtique when I lived in Newport and then moved to LA. I would drive to Irvine to see CHRISTINE and HELEN as I couldn't find a better manicurist or pedicurist in Beverly Hills, WeHo, anywhere. They are the BEST!
