The lady that takes the X-rays put my children at such an ease. She explained everything she was doing before actually doing it so they helped a lot. Very KID FRIENDLY place. Wow I can't believe how many good reviews this dentist has. First and for most I don't write Yelp reviews...ever... good or bad. This is the first time and I absolutely HAD to share my experiences, that's how terrible it was. This dentist was so rude to my daughter she was yelling at her to he point where she had me step out to the balcony of her office so I don't hear it ! My daughter was so traumatized cried all day and the next day because of the verbal language she was using. Towards the end she kept saying "I love you " "I love you" ... really? You love her ? Funny way of showing it. I told her my daughter grinds her teeth at night .. which is common. Instead of suggesting a night guard perhaps I don't know .. she told me my daughter might have anger issues and may need to see a dr for it if she grinds her teeth . I'm Sorry but as a parent who is very devoted to the physical and mental health and well being of my children I don't take that comment lightly! My children see the doctor my children are very happy and thank God healthy! Thanks for giving me the solution of teeth grinding! She's the rudest "Doctor" I have ever met in my entire life and she is actually the one who needs therapy... for real! I know working with children is very hard but if you don't have the patience then this isn't for you. I don't Care how amazing u can fix my kids tooth ultimately it's the way you make her feel and the way she made me feel along with it! I highly DO NOT recommend her! I had a very bad experience with this doctor. Her attitude with the children is very bad. She instead of helping, make the situation worst. If kids cry or scare instead of making them relax she is yelling. I am asking her questions instead of answer my question kindly, she gave me a very bad attitude. My daughter said it was less painful to get her right pit filled by her than the left side with her previous dentist. Dr. N is such a kind and caring dentist. She knew exactly how make me and my six month old son feel comfortable. Her facility is very clean and her staff is lively. This was a great first visit and we will be coming back, even if we have to pay out of pocket. Thank you so much for putting my mind at ease. My son still nurses at and not once did she tell me to wean him, but actually gave me tips on how to not wake him when I cleaned his teeth at night. This assured me of her awesomeness, as most pediatric dentist suggest breastfeeding moms to stop night nursing. My son sprouted his first and only tooth (for now) at 3 months. I noticed a hole -- or so I thought -- forming on his tooth. At six months, I didn't think I'd have to take my baby to the dentist just yet, but I couldn't shake the thought that he might be forming a cavity. Six months is a bit early to take him to a dentist but I insisted and Dr. N took him in. She informed me that a bit of my son's enamel sloughed off, it was not a cavity. I had lost sleep over potentially ruining my child's smile. She told me not to worry, to continue to clean his mouth and if she needs to she will patch it up in six months. read more

Second, their office is cleanly and up-to-date, but it has a warm, comfortable feeling rather than cold medical office. They allow the patient to pick their favorite movie to watch too, which won my son over immediately. BEST OF THE BEST!!!! Dr Najmabadi is extremely welcoming, conversational, friendly, lovely, caring and MOST IMPORTANTLY she has a lot of patience for the kids. I usually do not leave bad reviews, but I need to let other parents know about this dentist. We went to this dentist a year and a half ago, and I didn't want to leave any bad reviews, but we are suffering the consequences of a bad advice and the anxiety and the fear this doctor caused in my 2 and a half year old daughter. Doctor gave us such an attitude when my little daughter was crying (as if other 2 year olds don't cry?!!!) She treated us horribly and criticized me and accused me of not brushing my daughter's teeth, while I told her several times that I'm brushing her teeth twice/day. She was questioning me like she thought I was lying! Very unprofessional and disrespectful! She then told me to keep brushing the sides and not to worry about the surface of her teeth. I already had seen some brown marks on the surface of the back molars and I wanted the doctor to check them (that's the main reason we went there!) The doctor said she didn't see anything and not to focus on brushing the surface, but rather the sides. Thanks Dr. Najmabadi for a great advice! Thanks to your bad advice, my daughter had big cavities on those molars just 4 months later and they needed root canal! The dr. could have simply prevented the cavities from growing by a simple filling or at least advising me to brush those surfaces very well and to keep an eye on them. Also, she treated my 2 year old daughter so terribly and made us feel so bad about her crying that my daughter wouldn't want to see another dentist again and would scream and run away from dental offices for months!!! Don't believe in all these positive reviews people! Do your research and when you feel humiliated in the office or if you see your child is being treated badly, don't feel bad to get up and leave! That's what I should have done! She made me and her staff hold my poor little daughter's hands and feet to clean her teeth while my poor little girl was crying, screaming the whole time! Poor thing was terrified!!! Aren't you a kids dentist?! Aren't you supposed to distract kids and talk to them in a certain way to make them more comfortable?! Aren't you supposed to try to get to know your little patients before you start any procedure?! Just echoing all the other reviews here, but Dr. Najmabadi is really an incredible dentist who makes you feel at ease from start to finish. Been going to her since I was 5 years old, and was worried that I would have to change dentists due to starting to outgrow the chairs in her old office. Luckily she has a new office that is more well suited for adults, and Ive noticed many of her other patients that she had since they were kids still go to her over all these years. I've been bringing my kids to Dr. Najmabadi for almost a year. I am impressed with the quality of her work and the way she relates to kids. She gives kids positive reinforcement before, during and after the treatments. I have to drive about an hour each time but it's all worth it. I had been to about 8 dentists before her and all of them told me that my son needed general anesthesia because he had a lot of cavities. She was the only one that suggested to try to do them with the least medication possible and two or three at a time. My kids have never cried when coming to see her.
