This is a regular spot for me and my husband at least every 6 weeks. Sometimes we do sushi, and sometimes we do Hibachi. There is always parking available. We usually show up around 5, and we never have to wait to be seated. Today, we decided on Hibachi. Our waiter saw to our drink order, and he brought us out some soup. We ordered some sushi, and that didn't take long to come out. Our waiter collected our food order, and our chef brought his cart out to cook. The chef we had today was okay with the show, but what he cooked tasted great. The place is always clean, there's a nice coy pond separating the sushi room and the hibachi room. The bathrooms have always been clean, too. Next time we will be back for happy hour sushi. read more

Went for sushi lunch. It was okay. Almost every roll is a California roll. Which, honestly, fine, but then don't charge $15.99 for the roll. We ordered a bunch of rolls, but the one that stood out was the Aloha because it tasted like they put Sriracha mixed with ketchup on it :( So, it stood out for the wrong reasons. Anyway, while eating, the workers were smoking cigarettes with the back door open. I think the air was actually pushing the cigarette smoke inside and our table was close to the kitchen. We had the flavor of an ash tray mixed in with our sushi. Lovely. The atmosphere is cute. Looks like a fun place for hibachi. I do lot recommend the sushi here, unless you're a super fan of California rolls. read more

We visited this restaurant late on a Friday night. This was my family's first time here. Thanks to Yelp, it was somewhere that was open late. This place has its own parking lot and the entrance to this restaurant is on the side of the building. The staff was very friendly and since it was our first time, we had no idea it was sushi and teppanyaki. With our large party, they had to sit us outside of the sushi bar. Which was totally fine, we sat right next to the koi pond. Our server was Weijen and he was quite the character. He was trying to be funny, yet serious at the same time. We thought he did a great job helping us select the entrees and libations. The menu was a little overwhelming because there was so much that they offered. From hibachi to sushi to different entrees. But we did start with some soup and ordered the lettuce wraps. Chicken and vegetables served on top of lettuce. We also ordered some tempura that came with the fried shrimp. That was tasty as well. Our main entrees included some sushi, a teriyaki beef bento box and yaki soba. Overall, we all enjoyed the meal. We tried not to take any leftovers home. The customer service and food were great. I've been here a couple of times and tried a few of their dishes and always enjoyed them. I like how you can get a lot of their dishes made with scallops (a personal favorite), and I like how fried items are served on a plate that lets any residual oil drain off so it's never sitting in grease. And I extra like that they're open until midnight! The atmosphere on my late night visits has been laid back with great service. read more

My family was staying in a hotel and wanted to order food to eat at our hotel so we ordered from here. We ordered cucumber rolls, California rolls, cheese wontons, and the Phad Thai. It was delivery so we didn't really know what to expect. The wontons were amazing!! They were fresh and not hot enough to burn you but still warm enough to be enjoyable. The flavor they had was so good!! I would definitely order them again. The sushi rolls were fine. Can't really mess those up. The Phad Thai was different from any other Phad Thai we have ever had. We love Phad Thai so we've had it dozens of times. This time was different. It was really blah and tasteless and the noodles were fat flat noodles kind of like a fat egg noddle. It was very disappointing. Not only the weird noddles but there was absolutely no flavor. I might try this place again but would definitely pick something different and not have the Phad Thai again. We are on letter N for date night. We chose Naka sushi. I was tired so we chose to have it delivered. We ordered a crunchy roll, spider roll, green Chile roll, and a shrimp Tempura roll. The rolls were a little on the small side compared to our normal favorite sushi place. They had a very fishy smell to them when we opened the box. I had such a wonderful experience dining here. The staff were attentive and friendly. The restaurant was clean and was well decorated in a modern style, yet still had elements you'd expect in a Japanese restaurant . I enjoyed looking at the beautiful koi pond. It was a big hit with my daughter. The hibachi chef put on a wonderful show. It was my daughter's first hibachi experience and she was amazed by the onion volcano spurting out flames along with all of the other amazing tricks. He even went the extra mile and gave her a balloon hat and sword! The food was delicious. I had the teriyaki steak and it was prepared masterfully. The fried rice and grilled vegetables were perfect, great texture and flavor. We tried the green chili tempura appetizer and everyone enjoyed it. The real star of the show was the chef's own hot sauce. If you like spicy sauces, this is a must try. It was a savory and slightly sweet blend of soy sauce ,jalapeños, cilantro, garlic, and sugar. And a side of sriracha. Scratch the seaweed and squid salads, neither were for me. $59.33 less the seaweed salad. The ginger salad wasn't too bad, ginger dressing tasted good, just a bit dry on the salad. Mine had a clump of hard ginger root, don't believe that was intended to be left in there at all. The seaweed salad is huge here, it was not my jam though. The squid salad wasn't for me, too fishy, the sauce didn't do much for me at all. The lettuce wrap was okay, just a bit bland. It needed a dipping sauce to enhance the flavor though, akin to PF maybe? I did get some chili oil, it helped some. The Korean hot stone rice is filled to the brim. The rice is premixed with some gochujang as it's cooked up. It's decent flavor. Good amount of food overall. The explosion was so-so, too much krab salad on top, wasn't bad, just not a lot of flavor and the krab salad was too much for each piece of the roll. The california special roll was just right. (Review based on 3.5 stars) Naka Sushi is located next door to a newly opened Dutch Bros and diagonally across from Pizza Hut. We decided to make a to go order over the phone on a Thursday afternoon. We ended up purchasing: Sashimi Salad, $10.50 prior to tax- This salad surprised me because it was pretty small, like a side salad portion. I was expecting an entrée size. It came with the cheap iceberg lettuce, cucumber slices and match stick carrots. I would not recommend this salad. Sushi and Sashimi Combo, $23.40 prior to tax- This combination entrée is supposed to come with 5 pieces of sushi, 9 pieces of sashimi and a cut tuna roll. I think this entrée is a good size to either share with another or keep you full. With the tuna roll, there is definitely a good amount of tuna and seems to be more than rice (which is nice since I've never gone to another place that does that). The roll itself isn't as tightly rolled though. The sashimi and sushi itself tasted okay, didn't really wow me. Salmon roll, $8.95 each- Just like the tuna roll, this salmon roll does seem like there is more fish than rice. The roll itself isn't the prettiest that I have seen rolled but it still tasted good. ----------------------------- (Total= $40.99 after tax) Initially when we came in the afternoon to pick up our lunch, we realized that our salmon roll was missing once we got back to our AirBnB rental. We called the restaurant and the restaurant hostess had told us that the employee who rolled our rolls realized that he did not make the salmon roll that we ordered. So the employee helping us said she can make us another roll if we wanted to come back to pick it up. Since we were on the other side of town, we told her we would give her a call when we around later on and then pick it up if that was okay. She said it was so we ended up coming back much later that evening. Because the restaurant was sorry for the missing item, we ended up getting 2 orders of the salmon roll, which made for a nice added dinner. I think Naka Sushi overall is just average and would probably want to try another place if I was craving sushi. read more

11 of us had dinner tonight and it was terrific! The food was fresh and delicious and the waitstaff were perfect and really friendly and professional. Some of us had Hibachi and some had sushi or appetizers. We all had food in front of us at the same time. Sam, who prepared the Hibachi, was very engaging and entertaining. Our waiter was great and very patient with eleven people calling for his attention. We all loved the food and the experience and have added Naka Sushi to our favorites list. My son took us there at the insistence of his wife. First, the service was really slow although it was Saturday night. They did not have the wine on the menu and tried to substitute an inferior brand. The Sushi rolls were filled with a paste/pate substance rather that real seafood and there were few of them all served on the same plate. My fried crab looked like half of one and covered in some kind of sauce vegetable mix. Never had it served like that before. When the mains arrived the most populous item was rice and noodle. Enough for 10 folks rather that the 4 of us. The protein items were really small portions but were tasty. Best I can can say is the cook/chef was very pleasant and the server was just as good. Our 1st round of sushi consisted of the Flamingo, Sunrise(both hot) and Eskimo Rolls. The ingredients were fresh and completed product tasty. Don't be afraid to order hot. It's mild with a little kick at the end. The 2nd round was the Aloha & Tataki rolls. Both hot and equally tasty. That finished us - definitely sated. I really wanted to like Naka sushi after this place was recommended to me by a friend. Unfortunately, we were gypped on what we paid for. The menu clearly states that a golden dragon roll which is priced at $17.50 (not cheap!) had eel and tobiko on top. I saw a previous Yelp picture and expected to get what was described. Instead, they cut us short by giving us a roll without any tobiko, replaced with sesame seeds and put avocado on top to give you a measly 2 pieces of eel. I told my server who explained to me that "the sushi chef was new and didn't know." They still charged us the full price. The scallop hand roll was bland. They also put a dollop of tuna at the bottom of the hand rolls to keep the seaweed together without telling you, so if you're allergic or can't eat tuna, you're in for a rude awakening. "Will" Told me The Best thing he Could do was for me to File a Dispute with My Bank to get the money back. I Showed him the Receipts Showing the double Charge and He Rudely Said you'll get your Money back by filing a Dispute with my bank. I Told him I will not File a dispute because it's not my banks issue. Something different: the tempura rolls A good friend of mine highly recommended this place, so I came wanting to love it. Partner and I went for lunch, and maybe that was our mistake. Service was very courteous and knowledgeable. They cared. Food was good, but not spectacular. The tempura roll was just too greasy for us, but it's a very interesting idea. Decor is dated.
