If you have not been to Tomi sushi, you are absolutely missing out! Their service is on point. There is one waitress that seems to take care of everyone front of house along with call in orders and man is she on top of it! She's quick, she's friendly, and she gets orders out right and fast! The place itself was small but tables were full. The bathroom was clean, so definitely a plus... Most importantly the food was phenomenal! The sushi tasted so fresh and delicious! The rolls were a great portion and also a great price! The spicy udon noodles were also a pleasant treat, had never had them before and loved them! Would definitely recommend and will order again! Don't sleep on this place! Go now if you haven't already and are looking for fantastic sushi!

Late review. On the hunt for decent Japanese food. Unfortunately this was not it, but I am probably more picky as we have excellent Japanese food in Hawaii. Review is based on the udon that had basically a shoyu (soy sauce) dark base that was extremely salty. The noodles had poor texture. Like those instant udon packets that are available at Long's Drugs in Hawaii. IYKYK Stayed away from any "real" raw seafood sushi as I generally do not eat sushi if I'm in a landlocked area. We did try a California roll & it was pretty decent albeit rolled a bit loose. We did try the calamari which was more like Monku ika strips. I wanted unagi, but they were out. I suggested here because there is ample free parking in a strip mall. Tomi is tucked into the corner. Tomi Sushi & Ramen may be a good option if you live in Albuqurque, but I will wait to have sushi & udon when I return home.

We ordered and as the appetizer was set on the table a live cockroach crawled across the tabletop. We walked out.

This is a fairly new quant sushi/ramen place. Very beautiful Interior and plenty of seating. The music was too loud and offset with the sounds of the tv on with some action show, but I'm sure this is not always the case. The service was polite and friendly. The food was amazing plain and simple. The fresh fish was delicious and treated well. The albacore nigiri was the best albacore I have had in town. Extremely well plated sushi. They do not serve alcohol here.

The ramen is SO GOOD and reliable! The waiter suggested I try the Heart Attack jalapeños and I am so glad I did! My favorite cozy spot to eat great food

Soft love music playing. The service was great. The food was delicious. The spicy udon noodles really hit the spot for a chilly autumn day.

I didn't eat in the restaurant; however, I ordered the rainbow sushi roll and seafood ramen to go. The to-go packaging was great, but it is sometimes difficult to do with soup. Overall, the rainbow roll and seafood ramen were great. If you are visiting and want something to take back to a hotel room, order here.

Worth the money full of flavor! I had the gyoza as an appetizer that was served with a ginger vinaigrette dipping sauce and the Crunchy Salmon Roll along with the 911 Roll as my main dish, not to mention the miso soup I received free on the house. No complaints everything tasted fresh and I will be back for more. Beware "due to increased cost they add a 3.5% non-cash adjustment fee" to all card transactions.

White Tuna Sashami. Such a nice meal.

It is not the biggest restaurant, and is popular, so I would recommend being prepared to wait during "popular busy time" but it is so worth the wait. So I also recommend waiting. The staff is always pretty friendly and accommodating. I shared an app, a roll and an order of salmon sashimi with a friend on both visits. The food is always fresh, and delicious! I never feel like I am being overcharged for what I get either. Going to eat for sushi can feel like that sometimes. The quality of the food is great and everything is always aesthetically pleasing as well. I had their avocado bomb on my last visit and I was delightfully surprised with it. I like avocado in most cases, but sometimes, it can be a lot at one. I thought this was going to be like that when I saw it, but I was wrong. I look forward to getting one of these on my next visit! On my last visit my friend and I saved room for a dessert, one that we saw rotating on their screens that they have in the restaurant showcasing some of the menu items. It was a take on a bananas foster. It looked delicious but alas, we'll see if we can manage to get it next time. Note to self, have dessert first on next visit?

They offer tons of condiments and ice cream for desert. I've also ordered this as delivery which I thought was impossible. But they make it work. You order your broth (single flavor uless you get two orders of broth). You also order your ingredients and whatevder sides you want. I usually get beef, pork and meatballs. Rather than cooking yourself they come cooked in a container with a little brother and you add them at your leisure. I usually get the spicy chicken nuggets as a side and they are delicious.
