We ate here about 2 months ago even though Yelp was showing this location as closed. I called to confirm they were open - they said they were & have been trying to fix that Yelp issue. Latest google review is from 1 day ago so it seems like they are still open. The inside is cozy & welcoming. The service was friendly and attentive. The sushi chef/owners were nice and checked up on us periodically to make sure everything was going ok for us. We ordered a sushi boat, chicken fried rice, and spider rolls. The food was tasty and satisfying. We thought this restaurant was good value and great service. We will come back. read more

Amazingly fresh fish! The sauces were amazing. The presentation was beautiful and I will be coming back at least every other weekend. Because their tuna is to die for! I love savory foods, and you can ask their weight staff, Teresa on the weekends is awesome. She will go through the menu and tell you which is savory or sweet. The owner will always come to your table and ask how the food is. It is by far the best sushi establishment in New Mexico that I have been to. I lived in San Diego, where the fish is fresh and hear the fish is always fresh. read more

Nothing special here. We had ther sushi boat which had decent nigiri and the ubiquitious California roll. I really do't think people like california Rolls as much as sushi chefs think. They're kind of boring and fake crab is fake crab. The nigiri were good, if not super fresh. The place has a nice vibe and our server was friendly. Good for lunch. read more

My sushi craving was a little satisfied. We ordered Arigato and Rio Grande sushi roll. I do not recommend the Rio Grande sushi roll because it tasted really fishy and there was some burnt pieces of fish skin in it. The chicken fried rice tasted really good but the presentation was lacking and there wasn't enough chicken in it. The service was fine the waiter was very sweet. The restaurant was quiet and really chill. I'm glad I got to try this place, I don't think I'll go back. read more

I've visited three separate times over the past year, on different days of the week and at different times, all of which were when the restaurant was supposedly open, but each time it has been closed. I went today at 12:45 pm, sign on the door says it opens at 11:00 am, and the lights are off and chairs stacked on tables (although I did see someone walking around in the dark). read more

Finally!!! ... Ramen near me! I've always been a fan of the sushi here - it's good quality, a nice variety, at a good price... and now they have RAMEN! You might think a sushi place in a strip mall isn't ideal but even though it's a bit cozy and can get busy it's worth it. The service is always great, our drinks are always full and I'll always choose this over many others, even across the city. read more

We came in for a late lunch and were immediately greeted and got to choose our own seats. The restaurant is small and intimate-very clean. My hubby and I got combo C to share. The California roll was amazing and the NM roll was my favorite of all sushi I have had. They thought we wanted 2 California rolls but when we explained we only wanted the one with the combo they apologized and comped the cost of the extra roll. Amazing customer service. I only hope next time their Diet Coke isn't out of order. My hubby was a little frustrated with that but the 5 star is because of the rest of the experience! read more

Probably the absolute worst sushi/ramen place I've everbeen to. The employees added $10 to the $5 tip I left. And I was being generous with $5. The place was extremely disorganized, the staff kept mixing up orders, the ramen broth was not flavorful at all, they gave me a hard boiled egg instead of a soft boiled one, they stole money from me, I could go on and on. If it weren't for not having the receipt anymore, I would have gone to my bank to recoup the $10 they undeservingly added to my tab. I will NEVER come here again. read more

Went here to get some sushi and I had a Rio Rancho roll which was super tasty and large in size. I also had them make a beef steak with onion bento box and it was a treat! I'll be back for more! Great service and kind people here as well. read more

Most expensive sushi I've ever seen. I paid 40 dollars and I'm still pretty hungry. 8 dollars for 2 pieces of salmon nigiri is pretty ridiculous. Looked like most of the specialty rolls were over 20 dollars. I got the ABQ roll, which was actually pretty good, but would've been better if the tempura green chile was in the whole roll. Wait staff is very young and has no interest in doing their job. Phone number to make a call ahead order goes to voicemail 4 times. Walk in on a Saturday night. Two couples total in the restaurant eating. Sushi chef sitting down at the sushi bar on his phone. Hostess playing on her phone. Make an order to go (one roll). Wait 30 minutes and ask the status of my to go order. Hostess puts down her phone and checks. Says he's working on my order now (30 minutes later) and he had to finish an order for the couple (who had been there before I ordered) sitting at the sushi bar. Get my refund and walk out. If I were management I would be upset these workers are losing money for the business. read more

Wow, where to start. I ordered online, at 5:10 for a 6pm pick up. I arrived at 6:05 expecting it might be a few extra minutes. staff was friendly, one of the that I ordered was not available, so the guy asked me to pick another up to eight dollars, which I did. Then the girl tells me that he'll be working on that and we could come back a little bit later and it would be ready. I was surprised by that and asked her. Do you mean like 10 minutes? 15 minutes? She said she had no idea but that if we wanted to wait outside that would be fine. I told her I would go wait in my car. I gave them 20+ minutes and went inside and she said, "he's working on it". We waited another 20 minutes and he had everything packaged and she handed me the bags. When we got home, there was no soy sauce, no chopsticks, nothing in regards to what every single sushi order I have ever had in my life as takeout, has. As we ate, over half the rolls instantly fell apart when we tried to pick them up. They were formed terribly, and the avocado was brown. I've eaten at another location of the same restaurant, Numer times, and always had great service and amazing food. This location needs a lot of work! read more

I'm 50 years old and have walked out of a restaurant twice.... Both times were at the sushi King on Uncer. Owners yelling and fighting the employees, almost went physical with an elder employee. I had to stand up and say something to diffuse him and end up leaving without having eaten. The amount of stress I had from being there was unbelievable. The food was amazing. We lived in Hawaii for years and the sushi here had more flavor and variety. Service was great and the place was quiet and everyone was just enjoying the food. Get the Captain's Roll, the Hawaiian Roll, and the Gyoza with the sauce that comes with it is amazing. read more

The food was not good at all this time. I've been going to this establishment since it opened as Sushi King. I continued to go here after it changed to O Sushi, because I really liked the service and the staff. The calimari was rock hard and the tempura was squishy and falling off. It was gross, 9.75 for 6 or 7 slices of rock hard, mushy calimari tempura? My sushi rolls were mediocre. We got the lady in red and the crab on top was falling off when every other time I've ordered it it was firmly placed on top. The green chile tempura inside the roll was burnt. The crunchy salmon roll would of been so much better if the salmon tempura was not dry. It was so dry it made it hard to eat. My California roll was fine, but that makes sense because it was the easiest roll. Lastly, our chow mein was not at all like I thought it would be. For one it was made with ramen noodles, the chicken looked like they kept it in a container precooked. I would think for 12.50 that the chicken would be fresh. Not to mention the noodles were clumped together and didn't even fill up the entire box. It was only half full. All in all, we paid 73 for our online order that was including a %20 tip. I didn't have time to go back because my kids were starving and since they didn't want the chow mein anymore, I had to get them something else to eat.
