I really wanted to like this Kaizen because I adore the one in henderson and wanted to give this place a try. It was more of a miss when we went. I first wanted to say the service was phenomenal, our server took care of us and answered all my questions because of the ample amount of menus and items on their menus. The conveyor belt menu and the main menu is a bit different and there is a roll on their physical menu that is double printed on there but one price is higher but it's the same toll; so I hope they fix that issue. The sushi quality was mediocre and we can tell it wasn't that fresh along with the rolls and nigiri which was very disappointing compared to their other restaurant in henderson. But let me tell you that I do enjoy their extensive menu like their ika yaki appetizer and the star and my favorite roll is the salmon killer 2 with the sauce on the side. The innovation with the micro cilantro added that delicious taste making it so refreshing. We are a fan of salmon so this roll really was amazing! Ambiance was great, we enjoyed the decor and the truck that was delivering our food. They played good music and the vibes were nice since we came here for a date it was nicely lit especially under the conveyor belt. I would definitely try coming back to see if it was just a one time thing because I do like Kaizen sushi and I just want to try again. read more

I really wanted to like this place because the reviews are good, but my experience was disappointing -- mainly due to the service. I called ahead with a simple question and was left on hold for about six minutes. When I called back, there was no apology -- just a quick answer followed by being hung up on. Not a great first impression. When I arrived, the restaurant itself looked okay, but definitely not high-end. My table wasn't properly cleaned, and even the sanitizer bottle on the table was dirty. After being seated, I had to ask multiple times (three times) just to get a menu. I was told to scan a QR code instead, but when I requested a physical menu, it felt like an inconvenience to them. The issues didn't stop there -- my water glass was dirty, and when I ordered, I noticed price discrepancies between the QR menu and the paper order sheet. When I pointed this out, instead of clarifying or apologizing, I was told I didn't know how to use the menu, which was honestly frustrating and unprofessional. As for the food -- it wasn't bad, but for the price, it should be better. The sushi rolls were small and pretty standard, nothing unique or memorable. I also had to ask multiple times for basic items like wasabi and ginger. Overall, the service was the biggest problem here. The only reason we came to Kaisen was because it was a revolving sushi bar. I had visited the Kaisen in Henderson before and always had a great experience with fresh sushi and a smooth process. Unfortunately, this visit fell short. The revolving sushi bar was not being used and it was not all you can eat (which their other location offers), which was disappointing since that is what makes Kaisen so unique. The service was also a bit confusing. We were given a paper to fill out but then the waitress still had to come take our order, so it felt unnecessary. I wish they would have given us an iPad or a different way to order. The food did arrive on the upper part of the revolving track, which was a nice touch, but it did not make up for the overall experience. I definitely think the Henderson location is much better. This location needs to decide if they want to focus on offering all you can eat or create a clearer system for ordering because as it stands now, it was frustrating and disappointing. read more

I arrived at Kaizen on a Friday a bit before noon and got a nice booth with a view of red rock canyon in the distance. It was a serene dining experience but the food was not the quality where I would return. The appetizers were quite large and good for sharing. The hirame had some good slices and the rest were meh. The agedashi was warm and comforting but top flavorful. The baked mussels were okay. I was sad to taste the ikura and spicy scallops. The ikura felt old and the scallops were the worst I've ever had compared to any preparation or any cuisine where I've had scallops. I didn't get any rolls and maybe those are better here. read more

Our family has been to quite a few sushi places in Las Vegas and Kaizen is definitely in our top two. Initially, it can be a little confusing with ordering. There are no ready-made sushi plates on the conveyorbelt. Instead, there is a QR Code to scan for either their regular menu or for the sushi belt menu. Some items direct you to place your order with the server. To order sushi belt items (most plates begin at $2.69/plate during non happy hour), a paper form is used in which you select the item, fill out the quantity, then turn it in to your server. The upside to this slightly confusing ordering system is that the items are made fresh after you order. Sushi belt items are delivered to you by a fun red train truck. The quality of their cuts, flavor variety, and presentation is amazing! We love and highly recommend the crunch roll, tempura shrimp and crab roll, the lobster roll, popcorn shrimp roll, and any of their bento boxes. The customer service is outstanding as well. Not to mention, their happy hour prices are INCREDIBLE and so far the least expensive of the top sushi belt places we've visited. The service and food here went beyond my expectations. I really enjoyed each selection of Sushi that we selected. Everything was fresh delicious and best of all the prices were super amazing for its flavor and quality! The ambiance is fun, the sushi is delivered by a Sushi 18 Wheeler Truck :D! It's so cute and the kids love watching the dishes get delivered and if they are old enough can grab the plates. It builds the excitement of trying new dishes too. The desserts offered are also delicious. Our server was very friendly and walked us through the menu. This may be hands down the best sushi place I have ever been to. Their portion sizes are very generous, the sushi is so fresh and delicious, big fan of the vibe and ambiance here. The concept of conveyor belt sushi but having everything be fresh is genius. The truck delivery is so cute and fun. Servers were all so nice and even recommended the soju melon cocktail, it was amazing. All at an affordable price, maybe the best I've seen so far in Vegas. I did not try their food. The hostess motioned for us to sit towards the left at an open table, instead of walking us the 10ft over (if you think that's asking for too much your standards are low). It was immediately off putting, sat ourselves then the tables were not clean. Splatter on the partition & wall. I was in the mood for sushi and was on Lake Mead. I found Kaizen Revolving Sushi; I love revolving sushi so I gave them a try. This is my new favorite. I love the atmosphere. The waitress is very nice and attentive. She was always there and was good at explaining how everything worked. What makes this place different is that the sushi is not on the conveyor belt. They do have pictures of the rolls on the conveyor belt. You order what you want from the waitress. It is a little inconvenient, but there are not very many customers, so it makes sense. It also means that it is fresh and not just something that was sitting there. The sushi was delicious. I got one with lemons; I don't know why I just love those. I ordered pot stickers and thought that these were okay, they fried them. My most favorite was the desert. I got this one with mango sorbet and a white chocolate shell with some chocolate syrup. The sorbet was dreamy. I think that they should have used a raspberry syrup, but it was still delicious. I will definitely come here again. They are closer to me and I think they are better than Sapporo. I did not try the ramen yet though, I should try just to see how much better they are. read more

I really like the wooden accent walls. The dessert we ordered wasn't great. A gelatinous mango flavored bear with chocolate eyes and nose. Not as good as the similar desserts I've had in Chinatown, so I wouldn't order that again. Most of our party spent under $30ea, so not horrible considering all you can eat is about $35/person elsewhere. I am glad to have given this place a chance. The hostess sat my table of 3 down in less than 5 minutes which was great. Our drinks came out less than 5 minutes after ordering them and we go to order our sushi, ramen, miso, and appetizer choices about 10 minutes later. The sushi is made by chefs that are in the sushi bar area right at the center of the restaurant. We order everything from seaweed salad, miso soup, spicy tuna rolls, crunch rolls, and more!
