I'd rate a zero if I could. I really hate to blame the people that work here and instead I believe that corporate dropped the ball but honestly, this was such a disaster that idk what to think. I purchased my pool over two months ago and have it sitting in boxes in my garage waiting for install, which is supposed to be tomorrow. I've taken time out of work to be here this week. I've hired an electrician to be here tomorrow. And I've hired a pool water delivery service to be here the day after to fill the pool. Unfortunately I received a call this afternoon telling me I have a new installer and I should reach out to them for a date, maybe sometime at the end of next month!!! Apparently the installer I have scheduled for tomorrow (Sardina) "quit" and namco "forgot" to call me sooner. When I spoke with customer service they could not have cared less. It's really sad to see how people are nowadays. No consideration, no empathy, just expect everything with nothing in return. Honestly, this is a nightmare scenario and I have to pay almost $3000 out of pocket now to have someone else come install my pool! The whole reason I went with namco was so I could finance the install!! I would not purchase from here again and would not recommend. read more

We are renting a home in Somerset. In the back there is a 16x32 in-ground pool that was not part of our lease. However, use of the back yard is. The problem is that the pool cover is a tarp held by water pipes and 2x4s...a huge liability and a safety hazard for our kids. We set out on a search for a safety pool cover. Enter Lisa, the manager at NAMCO in Swansea. She helped us above and beyond our expectations. First she found us a cover that was $1,000 less than the nearest competitor and was supposed to include the 9" anchor pins. She also provided us with the names of 2 pool cover contractors to install the cover. She even called one of them on our behalf. When the cover arrived, the wrong anchors were included. I shopped around for some and bought the right ones. I stopped in to let her know. And she refunded us with a paper gift certificate for the entire amount. Did I mention she went above and beyond? We will be purchasing a home next year and will be certainly working with Lisa! The staff is incredibly helpful as well which only means she's a great leader too. We hit the jackpot with her. Bought my first jacuzzi tub last year. Starter chemicals are included with the purchase. They didn't have some of the supplies included, but compensated me by giving me some items for free and kept a list of items I was missing so I could come back a few days later to pick them up. It was hassle free and the staff was knowledgeable and answered all of my first time jacuzzi owner questions. Knocked a star off only because they don't have things I need in stock, possibly at no fault of their own, but room for improvement. read more

I was missing a foot piece to my pool, we never counted the pieces until they came to assemble. Lisa saved the day I called and she didn't have the piece I needed but had it on a floor model. I would have never thought of that. Lisa you rock! Definitely recommend this place to all my friends and neighbors. Very friendly staff and exceptional service. read more

Half a star maybe? I went there today looking for parts and I'll never return. Five employees including a "manager" standing in the back stock room saw me walk to the counter and didn't come out until I asked for help?? The kid that came out didn't care about anything and said no to having a part in stock without even checking anything. I understand wanting to socialize with your coworkers but when there is a customer in the store that is not the time! There is a much better pool store down on route 6 - go there instead. read more

Namco is a covid crisis profiteer. I ordered my pool and was told it would take 2 weeks. It's now been 6+ weeks and they stopped answering their phone and will not respond to voicemail or emails. They take orders that they cannot fulfill. This is fraud and they are profiting from the high demand for pools. I understand their is a supply chain delay, but talk to your customers instead of ignoring them after taking their $. read more

Grandparents ordered a pool In may. No one is answering phones or emails now. It's now august and still no pool.

Walked in with my girlfriend to at least four employees all around the checkout area towards the front of the store. Not only did NO ONE greet us or even say hello, but they proceeded to ignore us as we browsed the small selection of hot tubs. This is incredibly rude and in this social climate it could very well be perceived as racist. read more

I don't know what happened to this place. They never answer phones, never return phone calls or e-mails. Their Staycation rewards is a joke. I never get any e-mail when my $25 reward has been earned and trying to get someone to answer questions about it is impossible. I will not be getting any supplies from this store ever again. Namco pool 2014 literally fell apart the first year. All the top caps popped off because they never screwed the caps together. When I called they suggested 15% off of parts. The installation was done completely wrong and they offered 15% off parts. Here in my personal experience from the Namco in Swansea, MA on 6/21/20. I was trying to contact the Swansea, MA location for the last 3 days. They won't answer the phone lines and the mailbox is full. I finally went into the store today, Sunday, 6/21 after giving up calling for hrs and for no one to picks up the phone. I wanted to pickup liquid "shock" that I was told on Monday, 6/15 in person that it was going to be in stock on Thursday when the shipment came in and now today is Sunday, 6/21 and still no shock. I went into the store and asked the young guy at the counter if they had the "shock" in-stock that I was told it was going to be available on Thursday, 6/18. He then said NO, we don't have it. I then asked for the Manager Lisa and I was told she was busy. He proceeds to leave the front counter to go find the manager, while removing his mask from his face while other customers are at the counter. He also came back to the register without the mask and then continued to cash out costumers. I then proceed to purchase another pool item in the store, and went back to the register to use a coupon that I found on your website ("$25 off when you sign up for Texts"). I was told that I couldn't use it. I said you just let the other costumer use it and I used it on Monday, 6/15 for something else I purchased that the manager cashed me out on. I then got an attitude from the other cashier and the young kid, that I needed a paper coupon. I also asked if I could order the "Liquid Shock" and then pick it up in the store later on. I was told NO! I then saw the manager and then asked when the "liquid Shock" will be in stock and now she told me Monday, and then ask for my information to call me when it came in. This was also the same person who told me to call the store on Monday for about the deliver on Thursday. And now, I find out that the phone lines have been down for 3 weeks. Then why, tell customers to call the store if the lines are down? This is Poor customer service. Fix your phone lines and if they aren't broken, hire more people in that store who actually take pride in their job and who aren't rude costumers. Needless to say, I took my business to the Attleboro location and got a better customer service experience and they had the shock in stock. read more
