After reading good reviews from this place I decided to get a few things delivered to me. It took an hour and a half to get it, the driver was extremely nice and apologized to me a few times. Understanding it was not his fault, I was just ready to eat at this point. Much to my surprise everything was horrible! Second time I have had such bad food from a Japanese place in my life. Sushi tasted old and was falling apart in the box, the Pad Thai was super dry and cold. The only thing that was good was the miso soup. Needless to say.... I won't be ordering from them again... Sushi and sashimi is very good. If you sit in the bar, tell the to make you something special with you own likings and you will be pleasantly surprised. The servers are very nice although the hostess/manager is not very good but I am sure that will be the least of your worries. Enjoy. read more

Ordered take out from here and I must say I was delightfully surprised! Ordered the beef lo mein, house special fried rice and the wonton soup. All were excellent and tasted great. We were licking our fingers it was so yummy! The food was ready in less than 30 mins and the staff were nice. All around great experience I will be ordering take out from here again! read more

I have never had a bad experience at this sushi restaurant. The sushi has always tasted fresh and unique. The service is great and the place is very nicely decorated. The tuna tataki is fabulous and so is their sushi plates. I have ordered the bagel roll, the spider roll, and a tempura rolls which all were great. It gets really pack at lunch time but the food is worth waiting for , excellent selection of sushi .

To sum up, very poor service, rude owner or manager, poor quality and unjustly overpriced. We came for lunch with a large party, called in advance for reservations. They were having a hard time serving us, making all kinds of excuses. They brought food out one plate at a time, took forever. For one person soup and main dish came at the same time, which means the main dish gets cold while soup is consumed. For another person food never came. She had to take it to go because everyone else had already finished. The portions are huge, which typically is an indication of poor quality, which was in fact true in this case. The Tom Kah Gai soup was a size of Taxes, which I wouldnt mind if it was good, it was not. I also would not have ordered a main course in this case, because it was way too much food for one person. The main dish was a very dry Pad thai with only a few shrimp in it. Prices at lunch are only $1 less then dinner and they actually charged me the dinner price. When I brought it to their attention the manager or owner yelled at me and said they dont serve large parties and it was a favor, wish they mentioned that on the phone when we made reservations. She did not give me $1 back, instead she kept saying something most likely not nice in her native language. Needless to say majority of us experienced poor service, rudeness, lack of quality and will not be returning to that place. read more

I love sushi with a latin touch, after doing my nails next door i decided to go and have lunch at Nami sushi, when i opened the door it was soooo crowded (could be becaus eof the lunch special) so i decided to take out. First timr trying so i asked the server what she recommend me. I trusted her and i ordered a Off da chain roll. I waited 15 mins to get my order. When i got home. Wow the roll was huge!!! This restaurant is in a nondescript strip mall but once inside you will be transported to a tranquil and magical place somewhere in the orient. Stick with the sushi. It is always fresh and selection is huge. Prices are reasonable. They also have Chinese food but I would stay away from that. Cool. Nothing to rave about. The menu here is super long so you have many options.

We discovered Nami on a whim and at first were hesitant to cheat on our usual sushi spot.. but, needless to say we were definitely NOT disappointed! We were seated quickly and were given hot towels once we sat down. The waitress (a blonde girl) was very nice and attentive.. Overall, the service, food, and ambience were wonderful! Ordered for delivery. It wasn't too slow nor was it very quick... They were friendly on the phone... Being courteous and friendly is always a plus for me... Now for the food... I ordered soft shell crab and pad thai. Both were okay... Not great but can't say I hated them either. I've had better but since my favorite Thai restaurant is nowhere near my house, Nami is good enough for delivery. Would I try them again? Absolutely... We opted to come here instead of our usual sushi takeout spot and try something new. We had the tuna tataki and spring rolls to begin with. Both were great and tasted fresh. The best part of dinner for me were our rolls, we ordered a tuna, salmon, and dynamite hand rolls. Each had generous portions, the dynamite roll in my opinion was the best I've ever had with the scallops being sautéed to perfection. The TGIF roll was delicious too. I love this place! Nami Sushi is one of the restaurants that give you what you pay for. The food is excellent! My favorite rolls are the cajon booty and Miami heat, why? Because their best server, Sarah, recommended them to me with a laugh I might add. I asked her what she thinks is the best ones and she told me the 2 rolls, I said I'll take them both to which she replied saying, wow no pressure; I love this kind of atmosphere, whenever I go and she's not my server I request her, she is amazing at her job, friendly, funny and probably the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. Truly exotic with a beautiful accent as well, when I asked where she was from I was astonished to learn so next time you're there ask and be bewildered like I was! The rolls are pretty big I might add, I could barely finish the 2 I got! If you're in the mood for something crunch go for the Miami heat, and if you want something spicy go for the cajon booty! Customer service here leaves a lot to be desired! It took 10 minutes for an inexperienced employee to take my order only to get it wrong I discover when I got home. When I called and told them the employee got an attitude and hung up the phone on me. I had to drive all the way back to the store only to get more attitude and not even so much as an acknowledgement of how I was treated, being told: "I hung up the phone on you to avoid saying somethings I would regret"! I love Nami Sushi for quick quality sushi in Miramar. The waitress is always friendly. The place is always clean and the sushi is delicious. I can count on Nami for consistency and quality. Only thing to watch out for is that the parking lot is kind of small and the plaza is busy, so you might have to wait for a space. read more
