I love Nami Sushi for quick quality sushi in Miramar. The waitress is always friendly. The place is always clean and the sushi is delicious. I can count on Nami for consistency and quality. Only thing to watch out for is that the parking lot is kind of small and the plaza is busy, so you might have to wait for a space. read more

The food is great but the women that owns the resturant that takes care of the to-go order is a B!T*H!!!!!! she was so rude to me rolling her eyes and giving me a very nasty look. I love Nami!!! Ive gone two times already and will be going back again and agian! The food is just awaesome! My favorites Off the chain roll,Green drangon roll,miso soup,thai ice tea,and the thai donuts are just amazing they just put the iceing on the cake!!! The rolls are big and filling. Eek DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Just ordered Pad Thai with shrimp...it is the WORST my family has ever had. It was so DRY it got stuck in your throat, it was mostly noodles and a ton of red powder; no peanuts, no sprouts, no cilantro, no sauce. Management was arrogant and responded with: "Well, next time you come here, don't order Pad Thai"... Need I say more? Just wasted $29.95 in two orders. Wish I could but less then 1 star. Ordered delivery from this location. I have no problem with restaurant being behind schedule with delivery, but I called multiple times to be told they were 2 minutes away. After being almost 45 minutes late I called the order. When I spoke to the driver he said he wanted to come and see me in person to cancel. I took that as a physical threat. I've never been so uncomfortable ever with an establishment. I will never contact them again and I'm still shocked at a threat from this company over a legitimate complaint. I just not have to worry from who I order from. Stay far away!!! read more

I attempted calling their pines blvd location 3 times. the first two times i was hung up on. the third time i told them someone keeps hanging up on me and was asked my number then told "that's why they can't understand you" What??? We had ate and ordered from Namis for years, until last year had horrible experience. We received very nasty and rancid spicy mayo with our delivery order. When I called to tell the girl, I was told that they had changed the company of who they order their spicy mayo from and that's why it tasted different. I explained to her that the taste was not "different " it was rancid like spoiled eggs, and she proceeded to tell me that they were in the process of changing back to the original company. I didn't place another order until 3 weeks later and made sure to ask if they had already switched back to the original spicy mayo company, and was assured that they had. When I received my food and tasted the spicy mayo , I was unpleasantly surprised to find that it was the same rancid spicy mayo from before. I called and complained that I had specifically asked about this situation before placing my very expensive order and was assured that the spicy mayo was good. The girl told me that that's what the manager had told her. She was very nice and told me that they had received numerous complaints about this same situation but that the manager told her to tell me to deal with it because she was not going to reimburse me. Well they lost a customer of over 7 years because of her unprofessionalism and for serving rancid food, I should have reported her for such but didn't, I just crossed them off and will not be eating there again. read more

The worst experience I have ever had!!! The manager on duty was the most rude and aggressive person ever... My bf usually makes the orders from this place and he knows the menu by memory, to surprise him I decided to order his favorite rice which I thought was called "special rice", also not knowing in the sizes I ask for the big one. when I got home my bf realize it wasn't the correct one so he called and spoke to a very nice young lady who advise him it was ok to make the exchange of the jumbo fried rice to the rice we wanted which was the Thai rice. Upon arrival we were received by a very aggressive lady manager who was very rude accused as soon as we got there that we were doing it on purpose, my bf advise that he was the one that usually orders and that he was a loyal customer that he wouldn't do that but the lady continue being rude which got me upset and I offered to pay for the rice but at that time he decided that we were better off leaving and never coming back .... I have eaten at Nami's for a long time. I love the fresh sushi and the fact that the hostess remembers what I like. Even when I call for take out the young lady who answers usually greets me by first name and ask if I want my usual. Sometimes service is a little slow when eating in but very much worth it. Ordered online which was very easy. However noted shrimp allergy with pad Thai and it tasted very very fishy too much fish sauce maybe. It is my favorite Thai dish so I order it often from many places this one was gross. Also ordered Tom Gai Kai soup whose literal translation is chicken galangal soup. I am severely ALLERGIC to shrimp. The soup which is supposed to be chicken came with shrimp. I had taken one sip of broth and priced odd taste when I stirred it around it had shrimp all in it. I had an immediate breakout starting on the left side of face and started to take Benadryl to control it.. when I called the hostess said the manager would call me back which she did an hour later. She originally tried to argue with me about the soup and then realized that "Kai" literally means chicken. She offered to refund the cost of the soup not caring about the severalty had I eaten more soup and not seen the shrimp. Nothing offered for the pad Thai that was also not eaten. The refund for the soup is still not on my card. I would never order from this place again. Even though my friend said the sushi she ordered was good it wasn't worth the possible trip to the hospital considering other local competitors would have been more empathetic!! I have been a regular customer at this restaurant for many years and never had an issue. However, during my last visit, my wife and I ordered the lobster sushi roll which broke apart as soon as we tried to pick it up with chopsticks. After we had to pick up 3 or 4 pieces with a fork and knife , I informed our server of the issue and politely asked for a substitue roll. As a result, the manager/owner came to the table and I explained the issue to her. She became visibly irate and at first refused to substitute the roll because we had already eaten some of the pieces. In addition, she thought I had ordered this roll in the past and therefore I should have known that it was succeptible to coming apart. I've never heard of something more ridiculous in my life. However, my wife was with me so I tried to remain calm. After a while, the owner begrudgingly agreed to get us another roll. 10 minutes later, she brought us a roll that contained the same lobster meat that was in the prior roll! This woman actually told her sushi chefs to salvage the remaining lobster meat from the defective roll and use it in the new roll that I requested. I will never frequent this establishment again. An owner should be able to differentiate between a loyal patron of many years and someone off the street who feels like complaining for the sake of complaining. I will find myself another sushi restaurant who appreciates and knows how to treat loyal customers. read more

Our waitress knew nothing about menu she thought maybe broccolli was in stir fried vegetables and misinformed me about rolls,which I found tasteless and disgusting. I love Sushi and Teriyaki and stopped in this restaurant on my lunch break to grab something quick since I work in the area. It was not a pleasant experience. First when I entered the restaurant to order, I was told I was in the wrong section and needed to go through another door for takeout. Fine. There I encountered a rude employee. He didn't greet me or anything, basically just stared me down. I ordered a Bento Box which was $10 on the menu. He told me it would be $13. I asked him why it was higher than the advertised price, he told me they changed the prices in the computer. I told him to forget it and walked out. First of all, if they haven't made changes to their actual menu they should honor the menu prices. Not only that, his attitude was as if he was doing me a favor. Not good customer service at all.
