I'm quite forgiving but this is the third time I've been disappointed by their customer service and I'm officially done. I placed an order online and fifteen minutes past the delivery time I called to check on my order. The very unenthusiastic and decidedly unapologetic young lady who answered the phone advised that they called to try and confirm the order but I guess she dialed incorrectly because they were unable to confirm with me. My email address was also provided but there was no attempt made to make contact by that means. There was zero apology and zero interest in correcting the issue. So an hour and fifteen minutes after placing my order online I still have no food and there was no attempt to correct that or even apologize. I advised that they've lost a customer and her reply was 'ok' and she hung up. Other than a less than choice cut of tuna on one occasion, I've never had a problem with the food here but I'm sick and tired of dealing with the attitude of the takeout girl and her insistence in being unpleasant. read more

I've never sat down to eat here because I used to work in the plaza so I always ordered pick up. The food here is pretty good. It can get a bit pricy but you do get a lot of food. I love their crab ragoons, as well as their pad thai. They also have a great lunch special of lo mein with fried rice which is a lot of food! I've never had their sushi, so I can't speak on that. They have pretty good thai soup as well, which I used to be obsessed with. The food comes out really quickly, and hits the spot when you are working a long shift. Their fried rice isn't really the greatest, but their noodles are! I would sometimes take a break from eating here, because I didn't want to get tired from ordering lunch so often. Everyone who has attended me at the pick up stations has always been really nice! Overall, I definitely recommend this place for lunch... specially if you love noodles like me! read more

I wasn't incredibly impressed, but I wouldn't be against coming back. I don't order very fancy sushi, so I went with a Japanese bagel roll (salmon, avocado, cream cheese) and a spicy rainbow roll. We came here for dinner and to start the waitress brings you some nice hot and moist towels to clean your hands, which I love and had only seen that at one other Japanese place, so kudos on that. We then had salads to start, and I didn't really like their ginger dressing, so much that I didn't even finish my salad. We then had tuna tataki, unfortunately not one of my fav's either. I ordered regular sushi rolls that you can't really mess up (rainbow and JB), so those were fine and so was the plum wine I had to drink. I ordered from nami via ubereats and received the worse fried rice I've ever had. It was completely over cooked and inedible. I ordered pepper steak, which was pure pepper and very very little steak. I love Nami's! It is a great family go to for sushi. My favorite are the Venus rolls. The sushi and the sashimi is always fresh and tasty. The service is always perfect . The staff is very friendly and if you are a frequent diner you are treated as family. For those that do not like sushi there is plenty to choose from. Their fried rice is delicious! read more

Don't order delivery or you will regret it. Food quality has taken a severe dive along with their customer service. I've eaten here countless times over the last few years and I've never had a bad experience until now. I ordered delivery from them expecting the same high level of service and food. Boy was I in for a nasty surprise. After placing an expensive order I was greeted with a completely inedible meal. I order the Tiger Steak just about every time. What I got was not steak. For the low price of $23 I received rancid grey "Meat" that smelled absolutely atrocious. Tasting the food confirmed what I thought. It was rotten. Giving the restaurant the benefit of the doubt due to our history I called to speak to the manager. I calmly explained my situation to her asking to please just send me the right order. It is very possible that my order got confused. This is where things went from bad to worse. I spoke to two servers who were sympathetic and assured me the manager would take care of me. As you've probably already guessed by my review, she did not. She was adamant that I got what I ordered and paid for. After her attempts to convince me in very broken English failed, She ended the conversation by saying "We'll get it right next time"and just hung up on me. I've come here once a week since coming across it about 3 months ago. I've also tried other places including a few in south beach, but no other place has exceeded the always consistent taste and quality of the MIRAMAR location's fish, and the actual roll is always perfectly constructed. I tried the Pines location and the rolls were loose and took most of our lunch hour to come out. I was sooo embarrassed after raving about this place to my friend, then to bring her having her witness the difference in customer service and quality between the locations. The lunch and "twilight" menu choice rolls are always a great price for the amount of sushi they give you. I've only ever ordered Spicy salmon, Shrimp tempura, and the Crunchy roll so I can't comment on the other rolls, but if you like any of the ones I mentioned prepare to have your underwear blown off, every time ;) read more

I had the opportunity recently to indulge in this restaurants tasty fish delicacies by recommendation of my girlfriend who swears by their Sushi savviness. I have been for years as loyal to my local sushi restaurant as a lazy hound dog to his owners lap. I entered this experience with trepidation but I left with magnanimous satisfaction. The sushi was taken home to eat & once it touched my tastebuds I was transported to taste nirvana. We had a roll properly dubbed as "off the chain". How proper a name it indeed is. It actually escapes me as to the content of the roll but I know it has avocado & shrimp tempura and was heftily drizzled with a warm scallop mixture that could hold it's own in any seafood battle. It's truly delicious as the flavors meld in your mouth as triumphantly as does Deniro in a Scorcese film. We also ordered a "Spicy Tuna" roll that had such plentiful amounts of fresh tuna that it left all the other rolls accusing it of overcompensation. The simplicity of the roll combined with such fresh ingredients is shear genius. Last but not least we had a roll called "volcano". This one's definitely not for the weak palleted. It's packed with flavor & the spicy conch packed a punch, nonetheless, a true contender in the Sushi wars. I normally drive about 20 minutes out to my favorite Chinese take out spot but today I decided to go somewhere closer to home. This was my first time eating here and I ordered take out: wonton soup, house special fried rice and fried wings. I ordered about 15 minutes ahead and my food was ready when I got there. Huge plus. I always go for the gyoza... the crab rangoon is delish as well... As for the sushi... haven't gotten adventurous lately... but the JB roll is always delish (and they've very generous when I ask for a side of eel sauce). Lady Finger is good... lots of sushi and sashimi... Looking for a new sushi place since moving to Florida to fill my weekly craving, I searched the area on Yelp and decided to give Nami Sushi a try. Location to me is pretty close, being a short 8 minute drive away, and the menu had a nice selection of nigiri/sashimi combos and rolls. I believe you can tell all you need to know about a sushi place based on the quality of their sashimi as it is sushi in it's purest form and also I typically like to be able to eat as much or little of the rice on the side to meet my caloric needs for the meal. With that being said, I ordered that Sashimi Deluxe (20 pieces sashimi) and an Eel Cucumber roll on the side. I opted for the salad with ginger dressing and additionally it came with white rice on the side. I started with the salad. It came in a generous portion of greens but the dressing wasn't very good...it had an odd texture compared to any other ginger dressing I've had, lacked flavor and was a bit heavy on the oil side of things. Not a good start.... Next up was the eel/cucumber roll. It came in a nice serving of 8 pieces. Upon first glance it is a bit thick on the rice content with minimal eel. Not a very good ratio and upon eating, was a bit disappointed as it was dry and tasted a bit subpar in terms of flavor balance being almost all rice. Now, for the important part: The Sashimi. It was a nice assortment including tuna, whitefish, salmon and eel. Visually it wasn't bad, but I could tell that it was a bit on the cheap side, having a pale color indicating that it was a fattier cut of fish. Upon tasting, it was dry and overly 'fishy'. The flavor was washed out and the I would be hard pressed to say that it had the fresh flavor that is indicative of fresh, high quality fish. Rounding out the review is the rice that came with it. Rice is a cheap add-on, yet at a sushi place it is still a vital part of the base. It was dry, flavorless and resembled cheap minute rice...more of the same that came in the eel roll and I didn't even bother eating it. I have had way better sushi that is for sure and with so many other options around, I just can't see myself returning for another shot here. There are several locations that will show up if you search for Nami Sushi. However, I would suggest you try the Miramar location first. I have tried two locations and by far the Miramar location is best. We live closer to the Pembroke Pines location but I still go to the one in Miramar, even when I am ordering take out. When you dine in the service is great and food is great also. If you order food to go, the claim it takes about 20 minutes, never waited 20 minutes yet for the food. The prices is pretty reasonable and the food does not taste stale. read more

I always order the Mexican roll with eel sauce and spicy mayo and its just an explosion in your mouth! I've tried their other rolls and they're amazing as well. We frequent this locale as I love sushi and is the closest to our house. We like really like the quality of their sushi. Unfortunately, the rice tends to fall apart on the sushi and even on the roles. Of, course it depends on which sushi chef is working that day. I am very disappointed with this restaurant, I order a spider roll and magnolia beef with egg/chicken fried rice it was the worst food I had and it's pricey. the spider roll was basically friEd dumpling with a few crab, if you have soft shell crabs you should have advised, but you charged 13 dollars for fried doug. They should've called magnolia beef should've been called onion magnolia because they gave you a whole lot of onions and 8 to 10 pieces of meat.
