I stopped ordering from here years ago because of the terrible customer service. I decided to give them a try again. What a bad choice the Customer Service is still horrible. Pat who is primarily at this locations needs to treat and talk to people as if she has sense and needs people to buy food. We ordered a thin pizza for the first time for carry out. We usually get stuffed pizza here. We wanted to try a new thin. It was meh. We ordered the super thin. It was barely thin at all and soggy. When I think super thin in the Chicagoland area, I think crispy thin. This was not it. Even the menu advertised it as crispy. Their prices are a bit high but we always get coupons in the mail so rarely pay full price. Their sausage is OUTSTANDING! So good. We love their rustic crust. It's chewy and the perfect thickness. You can tell all of their ingredients are fresh and high quality. The service is attentive and quick to get our order out to us. Pizza is solid here. They have never given me any reason to complain. My only demur with this joint is its too expensive. So do the pizza's justify the higher prices? That question to some degree is subjective but in my opinion, no! There is another Chicago famous pizza chain that you see billboards for everywhere (im not going to mention it here b/c thats just ain't kool) where you can go dine in, order two drinks with a large deep dish and be out of there paying less than $30 with tip. I order large thin crust delivered to my door from nancy's and with at 15% off coupon itll cost me $25 easy. I could never wrap my head around it but there less than 3 miles away from the home. In that proximity this is the best pizza i can find for now at least. There pizza is great...if they can figure out a way to bring their prices down some, im certain the volume theyll do can make up the difference. Their pizza is decent, but WAY overpriced for a chain/franchise and frankly it's nothing to write home about. I've had better stuffed and thin at quite a few places. The rest of the menu is gross. Pasta, oily and unpleasant. I make a better sauce at home for much less. They no longer have any broccoli tempura, which was only okay to begin with and baked, not fried crisp like tempura should be. But now they offer the veggie sampler, which is a few pieces of breaded zucchini, one rubbery cheese stick and a the rest of it is onion rings. REALLY? Ripoff that pi**ed me off. And because it's all baked it comes out floppy with a soft, rubbery texture that gets cold fast. The condensation builds up quick in their containers and on top of it everything is wet. I ate a few bites and threw it all away. $8.50 down the drain for that crap. I'd also ordered the small breaded chicken salad. TONS of lettuce and ONE single small chicken finger with a couple of tomatoes. Where's the rest of it?? Another $7.50 down the drain. You get a bigger, better salad at Wendy's for less! It used to be good there. Not any more. Now it's become a running joke. Plus, the awards they've won are about 15 years old or more. People who have been around here for a while know better. This is one of my favorite pizza joints. They have a huge variety, which I love. And the employees are always so nice when I order there. My favorite pizzas are the Buffalo Chicken Pizza and the Gyro Pizza. Yum. Oh, and the jalapeno poppers and broccoli tempura are amazing, as well. Love. My family has been buying pizza from here for years, not anymore. 1) They stopped delivering to Romeoville. So first mistake I placed an online order, arrived at Nancy's only to discover they didnt receive my order as they were experiencing problems with their ordering system. (No problem, things happen, so I waited an additional 30 mins for my pizza and after I asked, they gave me a $5 credit on my account for the inconvenience. 2) I called and placed a phone order for pickup on 11\19 with a pickup time in 1 hour. I gave them an extra 30 mins only to discover once again they could not find my order. I politely said "Oh no, not again, I live all the way in Romeoville and this happened to me on my last order. The owner of this location was EXTREMELY RUDE, showed no empathy and had a disgusting attitude as if I caused the problem of them misplacing my order! She proceeded to yell at me in a nasty tone, do I want the pizza or not and told me she wasnt giving me a discount because I had one in the system from the last mistake???? Really, no I don't want $%&^ from this establishment. I will be sure to spread the word not to patronize this business. One must remember that the customer satisfaction is key. I tried the pizza a few months ago and it was great. We had a coupon so we had gotten an extra small pizza that I had for leftovers. Reheating the pizza didn't make it taste any different than if it was fresh, which is always nice. That is a good sign if the pizza can be eaten for days. The sausage were huge chunks the the thick and thin crusts were spot on in terms of how I like it. It is definitely better pizza than going to Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, or Dominos. read more
