This would've been a 4 star review, but we had to wait to be served for over 10 minutes after we arrived. We had to ask someone if we had a server assigned to our table, and turns out they didn't tell anybody! At least they comped our soft drinks, but still. After we got our server, everything was fine. We had our fifth Xmas dinner at Nonnies. My first time there. The restaurant is nice. It has a gaming area and I think it may have a second floor. The server was pretty good. I've heard good things about the pizza at Nonnies! The location is really large and inviting. We came here a for a luncheon for my aunt that passed away. We arrived early and the server responsible for our area greeted us and let us know that he is still preparing and would be out shortly to take drink orders. It was buffet style which included, pasta, pizza, sausage sandwiches , garlic bread, salad and soft drinks. Pizza was pepperoni or cheese. The pasta was a creamy tomato sauce with sausage on the side you can add or make into a sandwich. The cheese pizza was tasty. It was cooked just right with a nice crisp. The sauce was seasoned well. Thy pasta was so good I had to get seconds. The ranch sauce for rhe salad was really good that I had to dip my pizza in it. Nonnie's Pizza has been around for quite a while. I want to say mid 80s. And their food is hands-down some of the best food around even people who answer the phone to have pizzas delivered or food delivered are amazing. I spoke with Rachel earlier today and she was just so kind and so pleasant just wanted to give her a shout out. I have lived in the area for over 20 years and never tried Nonnies until yesterday. Wow, what a disappointment and total waste of my money. The food was so nasty! I placed a to-go order and waited for it so it was nice and fresh. I got the fried zucchini, it was soggy and the ranch dressing was disgusting. I ordered garlic bread, it was an orange color on top and didn't taste like garlic bread - took one bite and tossed it. The baked mostaccioli was dry, the noodles were gooey and it tasted tinny from the container it was in. I did eat the side salad after picking out the brown pieces. Everything else, I threw it all away! Live and learn, I will never go back and I wonder how they have stayed in business for so long. read more

We have been going to Danny's Pizza in Bolingbrook but since they closed we decided to go back to Nonnie's Pizza on 75th Street in Woodridge. Their pizza is nice and hot and very tasty. Prices are very reasonable and they have a very nice outdoor area. Our server provided excellent service and we are definitely planning on going back their again in the near future!! read more

I was at an event for work and this pizza was served. Not impressed, I thought it was very blah and no flavor.

Best known for pizza however you can find lots of other things to also get. It has surprisingly good prices on beer and cocktails at happy hour. Nonnie's of course has lots of classic greasy Italian food and is a longtime establishment in Woodridge. Kind of high prices for a pizza so it was a turnoff for us from ordering any. That and there's not a whole lot vegetarian friendly except for some appetizers and small things. Came in at happy hour. It had seats available at the bar so we went there and got some drinks to start it off. They have some good priced beers on tap. It's about $6 for most pints. There's some that are cheaper at happy hour but they're mostly the crappier beers though. As for the food we got an appetizer. The pizza was just too expensive. Instead we got the Pizza Bread. It's $8.50 for a few big pieces. This is great dipping into the pizza sauce. It comes with the choice of adding toppings to choose from. This usually just comes with garlic and oil. It's an extra charge to add more. The plain was good enough for that much of a price. Good stuff but the food is expensive. It helps coming at happy hour. The bad thing is they've gotten rid of many specials. read more

I was looking for a place to host my dad's 95th birthday for anbout 35 people, and everyone wanted so much money to book their private room. Then, I found Nonnies and called there and the hostess, Emily, was super helpful. We decided to book the room never having tasted anything but the pizza, since the room was very affordable and the price for the buffet option in the private room was decent. She suggested we come over and take a look at the room because they were setting it up for a party. We did that tonight and it was perfect. We decided to order a 1/2 order of their lasagna and 1/2 order of the ravioli's just to sample so we knew if we wanted those items on our buffet. Both were way better than expected....very tasty! The lasagna had a nice rich sausage flavor and the ravioli's were nice and light. While I am Italian and particular about my sauce, being someone who makes a long cooking sauce (5 to 6 hours ), I was delighted to find this sauce more rich and cooked for a quick sauce than most well known/popular Italian restaurants in the Naperville area. (Theirs always taste like uncooked tomato sauce to me.). My husband and I both really enjoyed both items and the staff was great. Also, best Gin and Tonic I've had in a restaurant for some time. Pizza was great, however the waiter wasn't friendly nor attentive. There were some additional charges that honestly we didn't want to argue cause we didn't want to get a push back from the rude waiter. We order the Large Deluxe Pizza $27.00, we asked the if we can Only substitute Sausage to Pepperoni. They end up charging additional for each ingredients that already come with the pizza. $1.00 for onions, $1.00 for green peppers, $1.00 for mushrooms. Seems very dishonest! The pizza was great! Not a fan. While the service was absolutely excellent due to Mackenzie's awesome and upbeat personality, the food was just m'eh. My family as well as my brother's family dined here recently and started with their combination platter appetizer. Everything was drenched in oil and fried to a heart attack waiting to happen. The ranch which accompanied said appetizer tasted funky. Ranch isn't supposed to taste funky. My Nonnie's "Special" of Cavatelli was too al dente and the tomato cream sauce tasted like it was from a can. The other appetizer of chicken tenders ordered for my daughter for her dinner consisted of chicken "nuggets", essentially. No tenders to be found here! My brother's baked mostaccioli was basically noodles layered with mozzarella cheese and sauce. Do people not understand the concept that it should include a ricotta mixture? And for $15? No way. I have been going to Nonnies for a long time as I think they have some of the best pizza around. I also love their wings. Their fish fry on Fridays is another big hit. That said they seemed to get hit hard with labor problems. It seems that they are short handed like most business and are somewhat overwhelmed at times. Worst customer service I have EVER recieved by a male manager on duty on 4/24/2020 @ 4:40 pm. Menu states $13.50 + $1.00 for each topping. I ordered a 12" with sausage and garlic which should have been $14.50 they were trying to charge me 16 and change. Along with this order I ordered 10 buffalo wings which again the menu says $9.95 and they then were charging $12 and change. When I called back to ask about the prices, a male got on the phone and was completely rude like he just got caught doing something wrong. I ended up canceling my order. Problem is, my family is a long time patron of this place. Rented it out more than a few times and order from there frequently. No more!
