    "Italian Beef special"
    Ramone P.

I've been coming to this restaurant for a couple of years now. Because I work close by the neighborhood. My 2 favorites I usually get most of the time, are the pepperoni pizza special, and the Italian Beef special. I highly recommend others to try my 2 favorites when you're in the area . They have a nice size menu to choose from, nice customer service, a bar with beer on Tap, tv's at the bar and eating area, and extra rooms for parties and other gatherings, along with a date night or game day. I'm looking forward to come back and try other items, and I recommend others to check them out as well.

It's been a minute since we've had Father's Day Ricky's, but oh yum. Honestly the only pizza I could eat an entire pie on my own. Thin, but not crunchy dough sauce isn't sweet, but very savory and the cheese and topping ratios are on point. We dined inside on this visit and I honestly was so hungry I forgot to take a picture of each slice, but here's a slice of pepperoni my kiddo devoured. The ambiance is very inviting. There's a bar area, and what appears to be a banquet room in the far corner. Ordering by the slice made life easy too.

Nice spot in the Chicago area. I was in route to a customer meeting while working in Chicago. I needed a place to jump on a Teams meeting and grab a quick lunch. This place was a good spot for both. Plenty of room and tables for work/virtual meetings, but be sure to bring you AirPods because there will be background noise. Food was also good. I really liked the pizza and chicken sandwich. Bar area looked nice, it as a working lunch so I didn't experience the bar, but looks like a good place for beers and watching sports. I recommend stopping in for lunch, dinner, and or drinks if you are in the area.

First the server was awesome. She kept the drinks and food and helped everyone with their needs. The food was great too. Especially the fried chicken.. everyone said this is so good. The venue room was very clean and very elegant. Met our needs 100% for my wife's 65th Birthday and retirement.

Went for the first time recently. Food and service was great. We dined in and the staff was very friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in. The Cuban sandwich is delicious and both the thin crust and stuffed pizzas are great. The manager even came out to make sure everything was good.

Raw chicken, zoom in on everything.

If you want raw chicken this is the place for you. This is a thin piece of chicken so there is no excuse on this. Manager is definitely a problem solver but had no empathy. He showed no frustration on this and was more worried about my attitude. Won't be eating here anymore, if it's not the long waits in the drive through it's missing items. The food is already just decent but definitely wouldn't recommend.

It was 5:45, I didn't have a reservation, a they didn't have a table available until 7:30 but there were spots at the bar which they said was full service. My friend and I cozied up to it and ate there. What a surprisingly good experience. The staff was super friendly and that bartenders had great suggestions. I hate when people at the restaurant say everything is good. Not these young ladies. They made some sound suggestions which we followed. French onion soup and the steak frites were both excellent and priced well IMO. They have a really good whiskey/bourbon selection with a few hard to find bottles. I settled on a Blantons neat. They had Pappy, but I'm not wasting money on that anymore. Food came out quickly and we ate and watched a baseball game. The locals at the bar told us about their membership program where I guess for a small mo they fee you get a bottle of wine and a charcuterie plate once a month. Seemed like a pretty good deal. I don't live anywhere near there, but if I did I'd certainly join. In any case, if you live anywhere close, this is definitely a worthwhile restaurant to visit. Seems like there were quite a few singles there as well if you are looking to meet someone. I have no idea what the dating scene is like in Lemont, but this might be a good spot to try.

Today we came for our 9th wedding anniversary and did not make an appointment we said we would wait the 20 minutes because we love the food so much. While we waited we talked with the host who ended up being the owner and chef. We explained that it was our anniversary and that we love the food at Capri. He said he would do his best to get us seated ASAP and we thanked him. Two minutes later he treated us to 2 glasses of complimentary wine while we waited and shared some of the history about the restaurant. We were seated in shorter than expected wait and were waited on by very friendly and attentive staff. We had the bra joule for an appetizer and it was the best we have ever tasted. My lamb was everything I could ask for and my wife's chicken vessuzio as always tasted like heaven. If I had one recommendation it would be to make Capri Sogno a must to experience the atmosphere and amazing food!!

Cold and rainy night that screamed comfort food and their linguine and clams hit the mark. I started with the obligatory Caesar salad, which was great, followed by the pasta and it was perfect. I did make one modification...I like a spicy red sauce so I subbed that over the traditional white wine sauce and it was awesome. Didn't have a drink but sat at the bar as I was dining alone and chatted with the bartender who was great, and I have to give a shout out to the server who stopped by and put the idea of the spicy red sauce in my head. Tonight felt especially memorable and worthy of a proper review. We usually avoid Friday nights because Vai's is almost always packed... and after tonight, it became crystal clear why. Diane and I were craving a standout meal, a little comfort, and a relaxing evening together. What we received was far beyond dinner service. We were treated like valued regulars and genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived. Pete, who I believe is the manager, recognized us immediately and encouraged us to put our name on the waiting list despite the crowd. I'm grateful he did. While we waited, we sat outside near the fire on a cool evening, which added another layer of warmth and ambiance to an already inviting atmosphere. Within minutes, Pete came outside personally to let us know two seats had opened at the bar. That level of attentiveness matters. As soon as we walked in, Eliot and Mallory greeted us with smiles and authentic positive energy. Not forced. Not transactional. Genuine. They made us feel appreciated simply for being there. Even on one of the busiest nights imaginable, they engaged with guests with the same warmth and attentiveness we've experienced during quieter weekday visits. In the background, Morgan was crafting cocktails with precision while still finding time for a familiar nod that quietly says, "Good to see you again." That kind of hospitality cannot be faked. We ordered our favorite dish, the Lobster & Shrimp Rigatoni and once again it was exceptional. Rich, consistent, perfectly prepared, and easily one of the best dishes in Naperville. Without us even asking, the kitchen thoughtfully split the entrée onto two plates. That small gesture perfectly captures what makes Vai's special... attention to detail seems woven into everything they do. From the fire outside to the flowers inside, from the cocktails to the consistency of the food, Vai's creates an atmosphere that feels welcoming, polished, and sincere all at once. Authenticity and respect seem embedded in the culture there. Tonight was a standout evening for us, and I'm genuinely glad we decided to stay despite the crowd. Pete, Eliot, Mallory, Morgan, and the entire staff - thank you for reminding us what great hospitality looks like. Outstanding indeed.

The restaurant on the ground floor is small with a bar area, but they also have an outdoor patio and a banquet room on the second floor for up to 200 people. Our server was Jose and he was friendly, attentive and provided good service. We started with a bottle of Chianti to share. We skipped the appetizer because we knew we wanted dessert instead. Entrées come with a salad and is served family style. The salad is mixed greens with olives, red onions and tomatoes dressed with an Italian vinaigrette. A basket of warm bread was brought to the table along with olive oil and parmesan cheese, which was a nice touch. However, the salad was overly dressed and the vinegar was on the heavy side where it catches in your throat because it's too much. I did like that a salad was included with the meal. My husband ordered the bistecca di manzo vesuvio and I had gnocchi. The food was just okay, but they do serve large portions. The steak vesuvio was described as a strip steak, but my husband did not receive a strip steak. The steak he was served was thick and round and a strip steak is usually long and thinner. Also, Vesuvio sauce is very garlicky with lots of oregano. Their sauce lacked flavor. The steak, however, was cooked perfectly to a medium rare. My gnocchi had a rich marinara sauce that was tasty, but the gnocchi were not light pillows of air. They were on the heavier chewy side, unfortunately. Disappointing. I had a side of meatballs to go along with my pasta, and the meatballs were soft. The best part of the meal was the dessert, though. The tiramisu was light and creamy and had great flavor with espresso and cinnamon, a classic Italian dessert. There were positives dining at La Dolce Vita, but it lacked the wow factor and one too many dislikes so this is a one-and-done dining experience for me.
