Came here with the team after our hockey tournament, perfect casual spot to relax and hang out. I'm visiting from CA and told myself I didn't need to try their pizza but I'm so glad I did, the deep dish was amazing! And huge! Terrible experience. I've eaten here many times when I come into town. My friend lives just down the street. This has been our go to for pasta. We ordered a pasta and large pizza. They didn't get the pizza correct at all. The management said they would remake the pizza the correct way and they would call us when it was ready as they were very busy. Since we didn't eat much of the original pizza as it was not what we wanted we waited over an hour and half to go to the store just to get a refund so we can just eat somewhere else. Manager Brenda came over and gave me attitude for saying it was unacceptable. I didn't respond well to that unsolicited attitude from Brenda so I walked out of the store. They actually banned my friends account who eats here often. I think this is a pathetic place ran by terrible management. If you do go even though the box is hard to open I'd suggest making sure your food is correct and if it isn't just waiting for them to make it. It actually was not busy on the inside when we went. They just dropped the ball. And banning my friends account who did nothing is insanely unacceptable and overall terrible customer service. If I were owners I would have a training with Brenda to make sure she knows how to give proper customer service. I am a 10 year bartender in restaurants and I have never been talked to so poorly by a manager. 0 stars for customer service and not just accepting it was a mistake and giving attitude instead. read more

Was in the area over the weekend and stopped here both days. I got the 9" Italian beef with hot peppers and some fries. This might have been the best Italian beef I've ever had. My 2 favorites I usually get most of the time, are the pepperoni pizza special, and the Italian Beef special. I highly recommend others to try my 2 favorites when you're in the area . They have a nice size menu to choose from, nice customer service, a bar with beer on Tap, tv's at the bar and eating area, and extra rooms for parties and other gatherings, along with a date night or game day. It's been a minute since we've had Father's Day Ricky's, but oh yum. Honestly the only pizza I could eat an entire pie on my own. Thin, but not crunchy dough sauce isn't sweet, but very savory and the cheese and topping ratios are on point. We dined inside on this visit and I honestly was so hungry I forgot to take a picture of each slice, but here's a slice of pepperoni my kiddo devoured. The ambiance is very inviting. I recently had their catered food at a Christmas party and everything was really good. The fried chicken was juicy and delicious with good seasoning. The beef had flavor. I really enjoyed the bowtie Alfredo and the sauce did taste homemade and not from a can. Everyone liked the mostaccioli and Italian sausage. No complaints. read more

Nice spot in the Chicago area. I was in route to a customer meeting while working in Chicago. I needed a place to jump on a Teams meeting and grab a quick lunch. This place was a good spot for both. Plenty of room and tables for work/virtual meetings, but be sure to bring you AirPods because there will be background noise. Food was also good. I really liked the pizza and chicken sandwich. Bar area looked nice, it as a working lunch so I didn't experience the bar, but looks like a good place for beers and watching sports. Food is pretty good. A little pricey as it's the same type of food as Joey's yet is 20-30% higher. Sandwiches don't come with anything (fries, drink). Either make it cheaper or throw in some combo meals without crazy costs. I'd pick Joey's as it's way more bang for your buck. Staff was very nice. My family and I went here for Sunday Easter brunch, and it was very well worth it! The food was set up as a buffet style and it was all so fresh! From breakfast pancakes to their famous pizza, all the food was delicious and we went up for thirds! The staff were doing amazing with cleaning up plates and replenishing the food when it was out! We got beef sandwiches and as much as it pains my heart to say this about a beef sandwich, it was just mediocre. For the regular sandwich, you get a decent amount of beef, but if you're feeling extra hungry, definitely upgrade yourself to get a bigger sandwich. The pizza did look to be the most popular item, so I would maybe stick to that when you're ordering from here. we did end up doing dine-in, the place is pretty big. It looks like it connects to a bar type of area where we saw others take their food. Lots of open seating. I think that this is one of the more unique places around this area, in a sea of fast food options, but I really don't see myself craving this food any time soon. read more

My aunt had told me about this place and we tried it today. Had the pasta with chicken and calzone with pepperoni and mixed veggies. Everything was delicious. So after seeing the WGN brackets for Chicago Style Italian Beef lately, my son (home for summer break from college) and I decided to do our own brackets (one pair a week). This week, it was Fat Ricky's vs. Windy City Grill. While Windy City Grill had the better fries, as well as the more traditional tasting beef, Fat Ricky's beef had a unique enough taste that almost put them as the winner. Unfortunately, they cheated us by adding a side order of cheese (for the fries). When I called (just today, 7/23) to enquire about getting a refund, I was told that they don't add the cheese unless someone asks for it. I can assure you that my son did not ask for it (not only do we order the same exact way every week, he doesn't ever order cheese on the side with anything). No refund for me, that's fine. No future business from us (which includes catering) ever again. Also disqualified from the brackets (so Windy City Grill moves up to the next level by default). Too bad how some places try to cheat you, even for a buck and a quarter. read more

We catered for a birthday party this weekend, service and food was excellent. I had been emailing with Jazilyn for a few days for help with what to order and how much of it to get, she was so awesome to work with. She was incredibly helpful and I really appreciated it! We were not sure how many exactly, so I gave her a range and she helped me picked the perfect amount of food. We had left overs but not a lot, it was honestly perfect. The delivery came right on time and the gentleman brought everything inside to set up. They forgot one of the meats so I had called to let them know and they sent it out immediately.
