    Duck innards noodle soup
    Luke Q.

This food venue is a cozy little space located inside a mall complex and serves authentic Nanjing duck related dishes. We ordered duck innards noodle soup, duck blood vermicelli and salted duck, all very delicious. Duck innards (liver and gizzard) can get a little too heavy towards the end. The server also served salty dipping sauce for the duck when we requested it. The only minor issue is the price. I do understand the increasing cost over the years but the soy sauce noodle soup costs $13 seems a little out of expectation.

The restaurant is part of the food court and you have to enter the supermarket to find it with 3-4 tables to dine in. Arrived at roughly 4 PM and many stuff are sold out already, including the Nanjing Salted Duck. It seems that many people called the restaurant to pre-order/ reserve the ducks. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. She kindly introduces different types of food. It's a very pleasant experience dining in there. The owner is super friendly and welcoming. We order a half of roast duck (only two roast ducks left then) and two bowls of rice noodles soups with duck blood. It tastes great and comes with very decent portions. We cannot finished all and took out half of the roast duck. We also order a bag of buns to take out. Overall we would recommend you come and check out this restaurant if you're around. Perhaps you can call earlier to preorder the duck. Indeed, right before our second visit, we called in advance and preserved a half of salted duck. It never disappointed you! It's really tasty though a bit salty. But the quality of the duck definitely worths the money. We also order the duck blood rice noodles with additional duck livers. Obviously they have so many returning customers and take out ducks and buns.

I go there to buy salted duck several dozen times, I have to say that the price is more and more expensive and the quality is worse and worse. My wife's aunt found this spot and introduced it to us. After that, I go to buy salted duck at least once a month. I know the price is increasing but the boss girl there always says she keeps the same price, she thinks I am stupid? I still give it 4 stars since I had so many good salted ducks from them, but it's getting worse in recent two years especially from COVID. The duck became salter, the skin of the duck became darker without brights. Even the duck itself was not as fresh as before. The price is high, I got a rice-stuffed lotus root last week. One knot, 1.08 pound, cost me $23.80. The price was almost a duck, come on! BTW. NEVER try the wonton soup, trust me.

ordered 糯米藕、鹽水鴨(半隻)and 鴨血粉絲湯 The soup noodle is so so but the other two dishes are great. Will come back to try their roasted duck. Looks enticing.

Takeout only. Located in a super market. They were out of roasted duck when I went (Sat around noon). Salted duck was authentic. Duck soup was very flavorful.

This place is totally a hidden gem! My husband is originally from Nanjing, and he's been craving authentic Nanjing food for a while. This place was our first stop for culinary explorations during our trip from Seattle to LA, and we were so happy that we had come here! We ordered a bunch of different things to go, and everything was just delicious, fresh and authentic Nanjing style. I loved the Nanjing Roasted Duck and Salted Duck, as well as the mini wonton soup! I'd love to come back sometime soon, and would highly recommend this place for people hoping to get a taste of Nanjing.

Loved this place. Takeout only, social distancing observed. The roasted duck tastes so authentic with the sauce, just like what I had growing up. The salted duck is also really tasty and authentic, but for me personally, my favorite way is to make soup/stock using the salted duck pieces with bones, and make bowls of noodles with some veggies. SO GOOD. The owner is friendly and nice. I also tried their duck wings, thumbs up. Will come back.

Price is super inflated, half duck is $23, and duck blood vermicelli is $15, most of it is vermicelli and very little duck blood, soup is bitter and a little spicy might have numbing oil, doesn't taste anything like the authentic duck blood soup. Roasted duck is crispy and juicy, very recommended.

It took about ten minutes for us to get a booth table, but we were waiting inside. The staff member called numbers firstly in Cantonese then in English. After we sat down, the waiting line persisted past 1 pm. Similarly, the bustling loudness continued on during the course of our meal. Food arrived quickly, however. The price point for the delicious food is competitive. We got French-style filet mignon ($18.99), braised tofu in brown sauce ($14.99), chicken chow mein ($14.99), and a steamed rice noodle roll with barbecue pork ($5.99). A pot of rice was included in our meal. The steamed rice noodle roll with barbecue pork was a nice appetizer that arrived first. I enjoyed how the French-style filet mignon was garnished with Thai basil, black pepper, and ginger. The meat was flavorful and tender. The braised tofu in brown sauce was consistently hot on the inside. The delicious brown sauce soaked throughout the vegetables. The chicken chow mein didn't have a lot of sauce, but it was still delicious with a lot of meat included. Overall, it would be nice to visit again outside of a peak time because the food prices are competitive. The menu is expansive, and the breakfast selections look interesting. The atmosphere during the Sunday lunch peak time was consistently bustling. I think the restaurant started to play Chinese music loudly at random points so that people could finish dining more quickly.
