They always have specials going on for oil changes, 5 quarts of oil and a filter for your car can be bought in a bundle, saving you somewhere between $8 to $10. The reason for my visit today was to change the oil to my car. Being that I regularly change my own oil, I knew the exact filter model I needed and oil type for my car. Unfortunately, today it seemed like there was not a lot of inventory on the shelves, as a good part of the shelf was empty of oil filters. I went to the front desk to try to see if there were any additional stock outback. I was greeted with a staff member who was eager to help, but with English being his second language, we were having some issues communicating back-and-forth. We were eventually able to pull up a list of inventory of filters that would be compatible for my car that should be in stock in the store. (Said it had that "one" in stock, but no where to be found) After literally going through each row and looking at each box, I was finally able to find that "ONE" filter that would fit my car. (It was mis placed....off course) The staff did his best to help and tried to seek alternative makes of the filter for my car and went as far as trying to find other locations that would have the filter. Definitely I suggest that if you are planning to do any type of repairs to your car, always call ahead to see if they have the parts you need in stock before you make the drive over there. Something even as simple as an oil change can become rather bothersome if you go there and realize they don't have that oil filter.

The mechanic (the owner's son) said he could tell the damaged steering line was new + saw the ~$200 charge on my credit card statement. That was enough for them to repair it again for free. I also asked him to take a quick look and let me know how long I had let with this Jeep (it's given me a ton of trouble). While on the lift, they saw damage to my frame. It was tucked away and hard to see but he took the time to really look. He sent me photos and warned me about forthcoming issues, encouraging me to pursue a trade-in ASAP. When I came to get the car, the owner told me the same and gave me some advice on how to make sure I got a good price for the car. Long story short, I have a new car on the way and got a great trade-in value for the car. Every time I've come, I have gotten a really good price (based on research). In the past, I've gone to shops by myself and felt patronized -- they don't help me understand the issues and don't answer my questions. It's as if they don't think I need to know what's going on and should just pay and shut up. That didn't happen here. They saw that I wanted to understand how X problem is fixed, etc. and they explain it to me. They also don't assume I know nothing about cars just because I am a girl. Ladies, go here.

Did a search for nearby stores selling Bosch, and not only is O'Reilly's nearby BUT they will install them for you! Neil was near the door when I walked in, he saw me carrying one of my wipers and asked right away how he could help. He gave me a few options and he had his coat on to head outdoors (on this freezing morning) before I could even get my wallet back in my purse.
