I called on Wednesday about a new Battery for my car and asked about the Core Charge on the new one…read moreand about getting a credit for my old battery and was told there was a Core Charge and that was it. I Next day I went in, bought a new battery, paid for the core charge, and told I can drop off the old battery at any Napa store. I spoke with a 6ft thin man, black hair in braids. I installed the new in their parking lot, brought in the old battery and was told by that counter person to leave it on the counter mat in front of him. I said Thanks, after not getting any words from the counter person, and walked all the way to the door, when a second counter person at the counter (shorter mid age man with thin blond hair) called out to me about the Core Credit. Only then did the Tall thin Black Hair counter person say there is an $18 core return credit available. I will not return to that Napa store because the first counter person was fine with me not getting the battery credit........No interest in serving the customer. Rather, happy to see the customer get shorted $18. NEVER AGAIN. The receipt Ref is VER. Emp 24. I spent $235.

It's lucky because at highway speeds it would have resulted in the notorious "Death Wobble" common on dodge and jeep. So I lived to repair the problem. I was on a side street and limped my truck home that was pulling to the Right. If I made it to the railroad track I'm sure it would have sheared of the residual inner tie rod end as well. Anyway I found out it is possible to drive a vehicle with one wheel. Where can you go and pick up an emergency outer tie rod on a Sunday morning for a vintage 3/4 ton Dodge Ram? NAPA that's where. I wanted to redo both ends but they only had 1 at the time so I took what they had and will redo the rest of the front steering in the future. Special shout out to Mark P. For helping me get the part and the use of his floor jack and tools. Couldn't have done it without. I was also very lucky to have a neighbor who happen to have a 11 ton press in his garage. I was able to get it the vehicle rolling again. Parts on Line are about $11. And compared to 20-60 at NAPA. 18/2017

I have a summer toy that spends most of its life in the garage so it sits for about 7 month with out being driven/rarely started and anyone who does this has to deal with battery issues. Normally this is no big deal because I use a jump box but it died last year and the car was absolutely dead so I needed to get a new battery jump starter this year to get the car going. The price range is $50 to $600 for jump boxes after comparing all the parts stores but I didn't need anything fancy or expensive because it's going to be used a couple times a year in spring time only. Oriellys had a $59.99 unit which would work well for my needs and it was on the shelf and to my surprise I pushed the battery status button, it was 100% charged so I didn't have to wait to charge it up and started my toy right away and drove I off with it in minutes. I stood in line to pay for the thing and a guy says open over here and a second guy says open here with a discount, who do you think I went to. I thought they were just playing around with the customers but the guy actually gave me $6 off and how fuc#%ng cool is that for a first impression because I have never been to this store and I thought it looked dumpy and I didn't know what to expect from them. Way to go Oriellys for my first visit, what I thought was going to be a couple hour ordeal on my only day off was as simple as it could have been so I'm definitely going back when I need something car wise. Jordon was awesome as the face of the business on my visit.

Eye roll is what I received, but one counter worker did come out to test my battery. Turns out it was bad, but he couldn't replace it. Told me the way the brackets look, he knows when he looks it up in the system, it will tell him, "professional install needed." I went to Auto Zone on Hwy 100 and Oklahoma. The manager said they told you wrong. He sold me a great battery, installed for free and all is well. Avoid Oh, oh, oh really!

All have been with the same salesperson, Big Mike. I couldn't be happier. Before the first car we tried multiple dealerships. It was the mixed bag of awfulness that makes people like me dreading buying cars. Got a recommendation to go to Wilde and ask for Big Mike. Saved us. A year later, we needed a new car. Since Wilde is almost an hour from our house, the market had changed a lot in the intervening year, and weren't buying a used car, we tried looking at other places. Ended up calling Big Mike. He calmly addressed our needs and we drove away happy. Bought our third used car from them just a couple months ago. Obviously, there are a lot of negative reviews for Wilde. What do I make of them? Well, if I'm honest, I do t know if I'd go to Wilde if I had to play roulette and take whatever salesperson walks up to me first. I've never seen anything bad, but the place doesn't have a vibe of excellence that would put me at ease. I've worked with three difference finance agents. Wild variety of experiences--even the guy we used twice was different each time. Again, nothing unethical or problematic like I've experienced elsewhere, but rather I'm willing to put up with "ok" because I know I'm getting fair treatment on the front end of the shopping experience. Two years after buying used and a year after buying new, I'm still happy with the cars. (It's the used car market--and there's no guarantee with the used car, so I've taken a risk and got lucky.) could have turned out bad, thankfully it didn't. New cars come with some free routine maintenance. Service has been fine. Again, nothing "wow" but also no red flags or anything to complain about. People are friendly and seem knowledgeable. Even so, once my free service is over, I probably won't drive an hour to get my car serviced.

But regretfully the once good service department has gone down hill to the point where they are overcharging for work performed. There service department is no longer to be trusted. On two occasions I confronted there service tech and had I not been knowledgeable.... the manager would not have apologized and took hundreds off the bill. I have hoping to buy a 4th vehicle from them but I have lost all respect for this dealership!

I called another location, off Miller Parkway and the person who answered the phone was fairly rude, so I chose this location. I went in with no notice and was immediately helped. The staff was friendly and helpful. A man at the register immediately came outside and tested my battery. He found it did need replacing and identified another issue. We discussed investment level for a new battery and the team started installation right away. They creatively applied sales promotions and credit and got me a battery for roughly 50% off. They even gave me a garage recommendation for the other issue and carried my bag of snow melt out for me. I'd return for sure.

This is your typical auto parts store where you can get parts, tools, accessories, car care products, maintenance and other items. The place was not very busy and I got in and out. Now let's get to the two for this place and I will tell you why. I found my $2.10 for sale sign and brought it to the kid at the front counter and he says with a shitty attitude is that all you want, yah mother fu#%er did you expect me to buy a transmission. I guess my $2.10 sale didn't live up to his expectations today. I didn't get the I'm not buying enough attitude. There is an advance auto parts store across the street that I would go to if I'm in the area for parts needs again, screw auto zone because there is parts stores all over the place.
