a full on disorganized mess... last two times i went there, i waited 10 mins to be even acknowledged, then left... no help, no nothing. and it looks like a bomb went off in the store... who ever is working there looks like they are running around like a chicken with their head cut off... total chaos. they clearly hate their customers and are trying to run the business into the ground. i've been to other napa outlets that are the complete opposite, organized and friendly... but these guys... wow. avoid. read more

Lightning strikes twice in the same spot!! The Sebastopol Napa Auto Parts store had all three of the filters I wanted for my 1970 vintage MF30 Industrial Tractor! Getting the right part number has always been a challenge for me. My car is older, as am I. With four straight days of rain forecast I saw I badly needed new wiper blades. When I went into Sebastopol Napa auto parts the salesman had a wide variety of blades -I needed two different sizes. Ron, couldn't have been more patient or helpful. He returned to the storage room a number of times ,searching for the exact items , two different length blades that were easy to install. I was shopping for snow chains for my car, and the tires were unusual. Another dealer had told me they couldn't get them and recommended that I call Napa. It took Ron quite a while to get all the information necessary, but he ended up finding a set in their inventory. I went in to get the parts for a water pump including the pump, hoses, gaskets, thermostat, coolant, and a new rad cap. Brian was very helpful! He was managing the phone, greeting others and all the while managing to collect and price the parts I needed. After the transaction, i took my box of parts and went home to S Rosa to work on my trk. Suprise-shock-terror as I realized one of the parts i paid for never made it from my order into my carry out box. I called brian and he apologized said he may have a driver that could deliver. That didnt work out, but he PERSONALLY delivered it to me in Santa Rosa after he got off work. This is why I love NAPA. Would one of the other cheapo discount parts stores ever do that for me-I doubt it. Ill make the 5 mile drive to get better parts and service at Seb. NAPA from here on out. Very satisfied! read more

Never again. The employee behind the counter that helped me actually reeked of marijuana smoke. When I showed him the part numbers I needed from the NAPA website, based on my vehicle, he rang them up at a more expensive price. The other clerk said "Let him show us the cheaper price!" I did just that. Showed them the part number on THIER Napa website again...and the numbers matched. He said "Oh that's a different filter...." and wouldn't give me the correct price. Third, if the part needs to be ordered, the price is still reasonable and they usually have the part quickly. But the fourth reason is the magic you don't find elsewhere: if it is a simple instillation and you still need help, they will come out to the parking lot and help you! Last time I needed a battery, I got my car to Napa Auto Parts and forgot a tool needed to install the new one and they not only let me borrow the tool, but came out and did the work without my asking. Today I needed a bulb for my headlight and without my asking, one of the staff (the tall, slender one) came out and changed it for me when I mentioned that I was concerned about changing it because I recently had back surgery. The two individuals working here went above and beyond when helping me get the right headlight. The store was closed just prior to my arriving, but these guys got me in and out with right headlight within a matter of minutes. What a great local store! The staff was very friendly and professional. It was very refreshing for me, as a woman, to see not one, but two women at the front counter. I was looking for brakes and rotors for my truck. The lady who helped me, I believe Kathy was her name, took time to ask questions about how my truck was used, to determine what was best for my driving habits. Wouldn't ever go back. They have a bully behind the counter his name is Mike! He doesn't like his job and is verbally abusive. Without going into details I can see how everyone that works there is afraid of him. Lady behind the counter said he does that to people all the time. When I called to talk to the owner there was another lady who answered the phone who said she didn't know anything about it. I'm pretty sure she the same lady who came and stood next to Mike after this went down. Hmmm makes one wonder. As well as talking to the store manager on the phone who said he had never heard of him having problems with customers before today.... sounds a little fishy to me... read more
