Ordered parts online for store pickup because it seems nobody stocks parts anymore. Neither of their competitors did, either. The parts here are usually higher quality and I have fewer returns for subpar "NIB" failures. The AAA discount brought the price down a bit so they were competitive. However, every time I go in here, the music is cranked and it appears I'm inconveniencing the staff. Looks like I'll be going to Phoenix or Chandler next time. Spoke with BILL who PERSONALLY LOST MY BUSINESS BY HIS ACTIONS. He was rude. Disrespectful didn't care told me I was wrong when I was actually right per manual and visual replacing a car battery that was in the trunk of my car. Spoke to a very nice guy who said they've had many complaints about Bill but they can't fire Bill for some reason. Stay away from Bill if you get an old guy wearing a camouflage hat that's bald and he's Scrooge McDuck stay away. Worst customer service I've had in years. read more

I am not sure how to amend a previous review so I am doing another one for the NAPA at 720 W. Elliot. I have not changed my opinion of the service but it is important to note the owner responded immediately. For that reason I have raised my review from 2 to 3. On any given day in any business there can be a lot of things going on a customer is not aware of. I am willing to assume these two guys had something important they were discussing, and if not, then hopefully the owner made a point of where their focus should have been. NAPA provides quality products and I use a NAPA repair facility I would never change from. Having said that I left NAPA yesterday and went to Auto Zone where I was greeted and invited in. It was a much better customer experience; however, Auto Zone did not have the product I needed. So in the end is it better to be welcomed or get what you need? I would say both are the desired outcome. But I want to thank the owner for responding and i will try that store it again. read more

Was driving down the road and some man was trying hard to get my attention, come to find out my brake lights were out, and he was letting me know. Thank you kind Sir! I'm not one who is full of car knowledge so I called my brother and asked him what could be happening, after checking the fuses and finding out that they were good, it just was my brake lights not all the other lights, he told me that it most likely was my brake light switch that went out. What the hell is that and will it be costly. Went to work the next day and was just talking to my IT man (who rebuilds cars as a hobby) and told him my brake light switch went out, he was pretty impressed that I diagnosed my issue correctly (didn't have the heart to tell him I was fed that info) and he told me to buy the part and he will fix it for free! WHAT? So I called Napa Auto Parts, spoke to David, told him my make model and year of the car, he told me he did in fact have the part, so I told him I'll be seeing him soon. Got there and David was behind the counter, he was friendly and very helpful, got the part for me and I was tickled pink to find out it was under 11 bucks. Brought it back to my IT man and BAM brake lights are back! David was great, friendly and helpful, if ever I need other auto parts, Napa is the place to go! read more

We pulled up just after the store closed and were standing in the parking lot looking up another auto parts place when a guy named Bruce came out and apologized for being closed. When we explained that we needed a battery for the Jeep and we were looking up another parts place to buy one, Bruce went inside and opened up the store e to sell us a battery. Then to top it off, he got tools and helped us install it. Talk about customer service! read more

Terrible service. How do you give the wrong battery?? Summarized...I had to pay for their mess up. Went to a different napa location because my brand new battery randomly died..was told they were having recalls on my battery so they gave me a new one. My mechanic later noticed they gave me the wrong size. Took car to this location for the right battery..gave me problems to even exchange it even with the other store manager corroborating the problems. A few years back, this was my go-to NAPA. One of the counter guys almost singlehandedly helped me keep my Jeep on the road, and on top of that they were the only store in the area with the most common air and oil filters *on the sales floor*. Great store, friendly people, and you didn't have to wait around for the parts desk if all you needed was a filter. I don't know what happened since then, but the new counter guy is Mayor of Surlytown and eeeverything's behind the counter again. So no matter what you need, you're waiting for Mr. Grumpy, and when he finally deigns to grunt in your direction, getting your parts is mind-blowingly slow. Even having your order pulled ahead of time doesn't help. With parts stores nearly as plentiful as Starbuckses, I don't plan to be back unless they are literally the only place in the EV with a part I need immediately. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I decided to go into this NAPA to price an Oil Filter and Oil. First time ever going to NAPA and I will NEVER be going back. I walked in with my notepad stating what Oil and Filter I needed and something to write the prices down with as well. I walked in and made my way over to the Motor Oil, I was shocked at the Oil selection as it was extremely scarce and did not have what I needed. I was on my way out and noticed the vehicle detailing products so I stopped and looked for headlight restoration kits. The kits were extremely overpriced so I walked out. I got into my truck and looked up to see an employee named Bruce staring at me for an excessive amount of time. I got out and asked as to why he was staring at me and his reply was "I have the right to, I need to know what's going on this is a retail store and I didn't see what you were doing". I stated "so now I'm being accused of stealing?". Bruce then shut the door in my face. I walked in and told him that he had embarrassed me, and belittled me also in front of a customer. I asked to speak to a manager to which David came out. David did not walk up to me, I walked back towards him and asked "what happened". I explained everything that had transpired he was not empathetic nor did he seem like he cared about the situation. All he said was "I'll take care of it". I am absolutely livid at the experience, customer service and unprofessionalism that I had received at this location. read more

When I came in the store today, and granted I was in a hurry because I had a mechanic @$172/hr waiting at my facility to fix our box truck, with a part that connects to my starter, but the person at the register did not recognize the part. The manager at a different register looked over and seemed to know exactly what it was. As the person at the register, who didn't know the part, rifled thru what seemed to be a 1000 page catalog, I asked the manager if he could help her find it, besides he was not helping anyone else and I was in a hurry. As he reluctantly came over, I made it known that I appreciate the help because I was paying a mechanic $172/hr to replace it, to which he replied, "I can make it go slower if you want?". I was taken back, and said, "oh I guess I am being impatient". No one else said a word, but I did get my part for which I am grateful and our truck ultimately got fixed. Heath Black is a stand up counter person but the manger leaves some to be desired. My truck broke down in Tempe and I needed some parts to get back on the road ( moving from CA to FL ) and Heath went out of his way to try and get what I needed but the manger just didn't seem to give a shit if I got what I needed or not. read more

Friendly people and quick service. Was in the store twice last week. Once for an air filter and the next time for a hose clamp. Both times, Jesus helped me.
